I broke my molar! I turned to My trusty Yelp and that's when Dr. Rosen & Dr Dworkin 's Dental office appeared. I checked the reviews and majority were really good. I called and spoke to Marlene and explained my broken molar. Marlene made me feel like I had been their patient forever. She asked to put me on hold to speak to the Dr. She was able to get me an emergency appointment for the next day. I was shocked! R by The next day as I was driving there somehow I couldn't locate the building but the front desk guided me in. She was so nice and patient. I didn't have to wait after signing off on my new patient documents before being called back. They took care of my tooth and of course invited me back. I have been coming to this office for more then 6 years now. My experiences have always been very good with Dr. Rosen. The office is really well staffed. They almost always take me in on time when I have an appointments. The dental hygienists are detailed, knowledgeable and helpful. Thankfully my teeth have been in pretty good shape so I have not needed much work but the times I have Dr. Rosen was excellent and I never had any problems after the work. Dr. Dworkin is great until you realize he is not because he has been allowing dental problems to progress without properly diagnosing them and informing the patient of the diagnosis and the need to see a specialist. I rarely received a full dental exam to monitor the issue - he'd glance in my mouth for a moment and tell me everything looked good when it was not. I either received no advice from him or the wrong advice from the hygienists. I feel blindsided and betrayed by this practice and feel he is incompetent for anything beyond a cavity. Don't be fooled by the Best of awards because patients are solicited for reviews and votes. Stay away. read more

Dr. Rosen has been taking care of my teeth as long as I've had them. He is pleasant, friendly, and smart. His orthodontic & dental hygiene advice has never steered me wrong--and that includes a referral for 2 sets of braces over 5 years (same process & orthodontist). Staff here from the front desk to the cleaning hygienist are knowledgable and polite. The wait has never been very long for my appointments, and the reading material (e.g. Economist, Financial Times, Time, and less cerebral things) is ace. Patients get a decent goody bag of tooth treats after a regular check up. And schedulers make an effort to fit patients in as soon as possible, especially in the case of emergency. When I was eight, I screamed bloody murder in his ear as Dr. Rosen pulled out four baby teeth with unnaturally long roots. He never held it against me. He & Dr. Dworkin are great with patient comfort & education in addition to continually upgrading and learning the latest in the field. read more

I have been going to Drs. Rosen and Dworkin for about 10 years now after a bad experience with my previous dentist. Well, they helped me forget about that experience pretty quickly. They are excellent dentists and honest about what you do and don't need. I have been following their recommendations for a decade now and they have never steered me wrong and my teeth are in good shape. If it's an emergency they're great about fitting you in. Very happy that I was recommended to this dental practice which in my opinion is the best in the area. Also I definitely recommend requesting Olga as your hygienist. She is awesome and very funny. I just love this office and their staff! This dentist office is not like any dentist office I have ever encountered. I believe it starts as soon as you walk into any office and how you are greeted. All of the staff were very nice and friendly. It happens to makes a huge difference and sets the tone for your visit. They go above and beyond, like it should be. I don't know about you all, but I have been treated like I am annoying the staff. But not this one! Not only when you are there in person but when you call on the phone. Today I called and was taken back with the way Nikki helped me out. I have not been in the office for sometime and really not a patient they see on a regular basis. One would think they wouldn't really care for starters, but Nikki went above and beyond for what I needed and helped me with all my dental needs. I was impressed. She was so nice to me. Made me feel good about going there. I was also impressed the first time I went into the office as well. At first I just thought it was a fluke, I got there on a good day.. But not the case at all. We all know how expensive dentists are and some of us are not that fortunate to have dental insurance. Well this office I must say, went above and beyond to help me with my personal needs. You don't encounter that very often you must admit. I have been mistreated in dentists office before. And it makes you feel like you do not want to return. It's bad enough that you have to go to the dentist office to start with! But this office is the complete opposite. It carry's all the way to the top..the dentist was the same way. I completely agree with the negative review left by Ann M. below. I had a similar terrible experience. Dr. Dworkin is great until you have a problem. Then he doesn't get back to you. He only relays information through his receptionist. I know that doctors are busy, but when there's an actual, serious problem, he should take the time to reach out rather than leave patients in the dark. The receptionist is actually very nice and was the only one that apologized to me about what was going on. Steer clear of this practice!!! read more

I went in for my checkup in March of this year. After having my teeth cleaned, Dr. Dworkin came in to exam me. He found a wisdom tooth that needed a filling repair. It is worth noting that the tooth ( wisdom tooth) consisted of only a little tooth and mostly filling. He said he wanted me to come in and have it repaired. Even though I remarked that I just wished he'd leave it alone. I did return for the tooth repair. Later that same week of my 2nd visit, I began to experience a lot of pain. I waited until Monday, since the tooth really was throbbing over the weekend. I called the office as soon as it opened and asked to see Doctor Dworkin, but I would have had to wait until 12:00 in the afternoon. I opted to see another dentist in the practice earlier in the morning. That visit the dentist ground the filling down. I left the office and later in the day the throbbing , ear pain, cheek tenderness, and a headache returned full force. I endured another night of dosing myself with 600 mg. of Tylenol every 4 hours. The next morning I went to see my primary to rule out either an ear infection or a sinus infection. Since I had neither, I returned to the dentist. I asked to speak to the dentist. He told the receptionist to relay his reply "the tooth probably needs to be extracted" to me. Again I asked to see the dentist. She said it would be a couple of minutes. I sat there waiting in pain. Finally I got up to leave, the receptionist, said let me speak to Dr. Dworkin again. She returned and said he'd be a few more minutes. After awhile I was called in to the office, he tapped hard on the tooth and said the nerve was damaged based on my reaction to the tapping. He did explain why the tooth needed to be extracted and what my options were for tooth replacement. I was offered no pain medication. After I shared that I was taking 600 mg. of Advil around the clock, Dr. Dworkin did suggest I supplement the Advil with a tylenol for extreme pain. Afterwards one member of the office staff gave me two phone numbers of local oral surgeons and proceeded to get me an appointment with one of them for the following day. Prior to seeing Dr Dworkin in his office, I said to the receptionist, I guess the Dr. doesn't consider patient care a priority. I don't think I would have seen the doctor if this remark hadn't been made and I was ready to walk out of the office. After having been a satisfied patient of Dr. Dworkin's for 19 years, I've decided to have my records transferred to another practice. read more

We have been patients of the practice since 1990. We cannot say enough positive things abaout Dr. Rosen and his staff. They are all warm, caring, passionate, profesional and very competent.We left a telephone message on a holiday weekend when my wife suffered a severe dental problem. Within a short period of time we received a call back from Dr. Rosen. He told us to meet him at his office in 1 hour and he would try to resolve the problem. It was 7PM on a staurday night. This is typical of the service the practice provides its' patients. Outside of the practice, we have encounted Dr. Rosen with and without his family in a restaurants, community concert, etc. He always comes over to us to inquires of our family, share stories about his and introduce us to them. He treats patients more like family and values their business, but most of all, the people themselves. Steer clear. Dr dworkin gave me 3 "medicated fillings" prior to root canal work I was having at an endontist, because he said he could not do the root canals. I had pain, and wasn't scheduled for a few weeks, so I decided to pay him the $125 that was charged off in a BK filing. Bad dentist. He promised instant relief, at the tune of approx $900 for 3 fillings, same side, same day. After the needle wore off , I thought my head was going to explode! Called office back for suggestions, and dworkin said take Tylenol!! Paid over $1000 for pain! Go somewhere else! Anywhere else! Very poor manner's, treatment was bogus. Avoid at all costs! read more

My family of 5 has been coming to Dr. Rosen for over 25 years after having terrible experiences with another dental office who performed numerous unnecessary producers on both me and my husband (at the time we were both young and had insurance which completely covered any procedure and the dentist took advantage to profit). Dr. Rosen's office has the latest technology (I've since had many crowns and they look great), caring/honest professionals and most importantly they help you keep your teeth healthy without ripping you off. Our three grown children all have problem free strong teeth (only one had a small cavity once) due to the great care they received as children under Dr. Rosen. Our 22 year old daughter (who is attending school in North Carolina) was having invisalign treatment from a local Carolina dentist who told her she had a large cavity (needing to be filled). Since she has never had a cavity (and always went for 6 month cleanings with Dr. Rosen), she came back home and visited Dr. Dworkin to have the procedure done and he said she had no cavity! Its a shame some dentists are crooks!!! We have recently moved an hour away in PA and will continue to use this dental office as we know that are trustworthy and do great work. read more
