5/5 star experience on every.freaking.level. I'm a patient of Dr. Dave's for veneers (four front teeth). Do you know how nerve wracking it is to have your gums sliced and your teeth permanently shaven?! It's wild, and it's an irreversible decision and a long-term life investment, and if you're going to have it done, I can't recommend this team enough. Dr. Dave has helped me think through this decision with such patience and kindness and helped me understand all of my options. I've never felt rushed or unimportant and I am SO happy with my pain-free results I could cry. I've never had veneers and was anxious about the process, but every part of the experience has been explained thoroughly and ahead of time, options laid out clearly both via in-person appointments and with follow-up paperwork, proactive advice shared, concerns addressed with kindness, questions answered thoroughly (even when I've called the office after an appt with something I forgot to ask), and most importantly.... When I went to go get my gums cut and my teeth shaven (again, wild!), I was completely comfortable and in zero pain. Like I drove up to the office at 8am (ample parking, btw) with my God-given teeth that I didn't like (too short, asymmetrical length, uneven shape) and left at 1230pm with temporary replacements that look extremely real, are a gorgeous color, and are LITERALLY my dream teeth all without any pain at all! Everything I wanted fixed is fixed and I can't wait to get my permanents in a little bit. I'm so proud of this decision and am forever thankful to Dr. Dave, Michelle, and the entire Monokian team for their expert care! I can't think of a reason not to come here. Even if you live far away, but you can't find an equally amazing option closer to you that you feel 100% great about, make a trip out of your appointments here! It's so crazy for me to read any negative reviews about this office! I have been coming here since I was a little girl. I saw Dr Harry for many years and now I see Dr Mike and Dr Dave too. They are all AMAZING! I am new to Yelp and when i read that negative review it compelled me to write a review of my own. My whole family and most of my neighbors go to Monokian Dentistry. I have NEVER heard of, nor had a bad experience there. Quite the opposite. The front desk is very friendly and knowledgable. They helped me figure out how I could still use my insurance there even though I wasn't in-network. In the past they did pre-authorzations for any bigger treatment i was getting, but that was only to help me make a decision and let me know how much it would cost me. I thought of this as a very helpful and valuable service they provided for me! The Hygiene team is awesome! I get a pain free cleaning and my kids are never afraid for their appointments. The Drs are the most caring and authentic Drs I have ever gone to. My husband went to another dentist before we got married and all he had to do was accompany me to one visit and he converted to become a patient of Dr Monokian. The Monokian dentists are so honest and have talked me OUT of work that i thought I needed. It probably would have been pricey and they stood to make good money, I'm sure, but they told me the truth instead. I just cant believe that they would knowly try to get anyone to do work that wasn't needed just to make money. The practice is always busy and I just don't think the doctors would risk their reputation to make an extra buck! The office just got a make-over. I don't think it's done yet but everything is looking updated. Somehow they managed to make it modern, but still warm and homey. I can't wait for my next appointment to see it all completed! I love this office! I have been coming here for many years and its remarkable how I see so many familiar faces still. Most offices have new people at every visit. I have been seeing the same hygienist for over 20 years and recognize almost all of the assistants and front desk team. I used to see Dr. Harry and now I see Dr. Mike. I thought I would never want to leave Dr. Harry, but Dr. Mike, who is his son, is wonderful! He is so knowledgeable and passionate and above all, kind. It is a welcome change. I feel like I'm "cheating" on Dr. Harry because now I recommend all my friends to see Dr. Mike. The look of the office has also changed a few times. They recently renovated everything, it seems. The waiting room is the nicest I have ever been in. It looks like I am in a 5 star hotel. All of the treatment rooms have wood floors. There are flat screen TVs in each room. Its simply incredible. I hate to admit, but the furnishings in the office are nicer than my own home. I also have to mention how sweet the young ladies who work there are. The girls at the front always help me sort through my insurance issues. In all the years I have been going there I never waited to be seen more than 5 minutes. One time the doctor was running behind and I had to wait 15 minutes. Well, the whole staff apologized for the wait and gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. I didn't even complain. I wasn't upset about the wait, but they were upset for me. - Top notch service! I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone looking for a TOP of the line Dentist, staff and facility. read more

Monokian Dentistry is truly a one of a kind office. I have never experienced dentistry this way before! The waiting room is cozy and has a Keurig so I can get fresh coffee or tea...which I always need! The treatment rooms all have flat screen TVs, scented neck pillows, comfortable chairs, really amazing dental technology...more advanced than I have ever seen. I see Dr. MIKE and love him! He is gentle, thorough, patient and just a nice guy. I never feel as though I am being sold or pushed to do treatment that isn't necessary. And I know all 3 dentists are amazing...so you really cant go wrong!! The front desk is always very pleasant! They call my insurance for me and warn me when I am coming close to my limit...very conscientious of my dental insurance, which I really appreciate! The Assistants and Hygienists are all soooo sweet! Most of the people who work there have been there for a really look time. My Hygienist has been there 30 YEARS! This says a lot about the type of office it is and the Dentists (owners). Oh yes, and the dentists actually own the practice!! I have heard more and more about these practices owned by corporations and how they are dental mills. Monokian Dentistry focuses on the patient and the patient's needs and I have heard those large dental offices are only about the bottom line. The staff here is very professional and friendly, and the office is always extremely clean. I typically see Dr. Mike and Andrea as my hygienist. I always feel like I get a thorough exam and never feel rushed, but at the same time, I am in and out within an hour for a cleaning. Andrea is wonderful and even remembered my baby's name, which made me feel like they really care about me as a person, and that I am not just "another patient". I actually switched to Monokian a couple of years ago. My previous dentist left the practice, and the practice never told me. When I went in for my cleaning, I had a new dentist who then tried to tell me I had 3 cavities that needed filling! I am religious with my 6 month appointments and my home healthcare, and my previous dentist never said anything about watching these 3 teeth. I switched to Monokian to get a second opinion and they confirmed that I, indeed, did not have any cavities that needed filling. The front desk staff is very welcoming, professional, and they maintain open communication with their patients about any changes in the office. My husband recently received a text notification from them about an appointment change. When he called they said the hygienist is typically sees switched shifts, so they sent him a notification to tell him he will have a new hygienist. I was impressed! read more

Wow!! What an amazing experience. Dr. Mike is kind, patient and above all extremely knowledgeable. This office is cutting edge dentistry for the 21st century. Safety is definitely a priority at Monokian Dentistry for the both the staff and the patients. We waited in the parking lot until we were notified to enter the building, via text message. We were warmly greeted in the hallway and had our temperatures taken and sanitized our hands. When we entered the office we were welcomed by the reception staff. The waiting area had signs on the chairs indicating where patients should sit to socially distant themselves from other patients. Everyone was wearing masks and proper PPE. The waiting area is very relaxing and calming. I say relaxing and calming because there is a big fish tank with beautiful fish floating around. There is a sign that says Relax right in front of it. Michele brought us back to the examination room and explained everything she was doing before she did. Dr. Mike took his time and examined every aspect of my mom's teeth, gums, jaw, muscles, etc. After his examination he gave us a detailed explanation of his findings and his recommendations for treatment. This dental office is simply the best that I know!!! It is composed of the dentists with a big heart and skill. I have been a long standing patient first with the father of the family, Dr.Harry Monokian, and now as a patient of one of the sons - Dr. David Monokian. The office is highly organized, all the hygienists and assistants as well as a schedulers and whose who work with insurance companies are very responsible and helpful. Everybody goes out of their way to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where patients feel comfortable. The dentists are highly qualified, they undergo constant trainings, and advance their knowledge levels. these dentists take to heart their patients requests and problems. Dr. David opened the office for me to fix my bite on Thanksgiving day. This is an office of truly dedicated people, highly qualified and passionate about their work. FANTASTIC office and staff!! The updated office in Haddonfield is really pretty and soothing. I love the fish tank! Wendy is always smiling and happy to see me. The Hygienists are super thorough, they always take time to help me understand what I can do to make sure my teeth and gums stay healthy. The doctors are all wonderful. I don't even have a preference...I like them all. They listen, they don't try to sell you stuff and I always feel like they remember me and what my actual issues are, which says a lot because my mouth was a train wreck before I came here. I have had several teeth fixed at Monokian Dentistry and I am very happy with the results. The dental assistants are super friendly and attentive. Dr. Mike is very knowledgeable and patient. He thoroughly explains everything in detail and never rushes me out of the office. I am deathly afraid of needles, so all the dental work I receive is done without any needles. So far, I have had 5 cavities filled and will be coming back here for a few crowns. I never feel anxious coming to the dentist anymore. I have been going to Monokian Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for a long time after I switched from my previous dentist. They are very professional and courteous. They have been amazing during the pandemic and take it very seriously. They took every precaution even before the pandemic. My kids use them as their dentists too. Both my son and I did the Invisalign and the results were amazing. It's very easy to get an appointment. If you have an emergency there's always someone to see you. I was shocked at how well Monokian has adapted to this new normal! What a thorough set up with air filters extra masks and everything they did was great! I felt so comfortable, I really can't imagine them making more steps to ensure safety. And I got the same quality service I always do, I though maybe they might cut some corners to speed through the appointment but on the contrary it was exactly the same amount of time as normal and really was a pleasant experience. Going to the dentist during a pandemic can be a frightening idea BUT not if you go to my dentist. Every precaution was taken to ensure my safety and the safety of the staff. They are always so friendly and make the experience very pleasant. They have eleven super air purifiers that make the air clean and very safe so no fear about spreading the virus.
