After that, I had to wait another 20 minutes to meet with the financial coordinator. Once that meeting was completed, I was told I would have to wait another hour to see the dentist again because I had been moved to the back of the line behind four other patients. I don't understand how someone with a scheduled appointment is treated like a walk-in because of delays caused by the office's own process. When I expressed my concerns, the office manager was dismissive and acted as if I was being unreasonable for not wanting to spend several hours at the office for a scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, when I asked the financial coordinator what prescription I would be receiving, his response was, "I don't know, I'm not a doctor." While I understand he may not know the answer, the response came across as unprofessional and unhelpful. A simple offer to check with the dentist would have been appreciated.

Durning a root canal She didn't just leave one broken drill piece in my mouth but three ! Yes three broken drill pieces ! & She never told me about the broken drill pieces, durning or after the procedure ! She also burned my lip with a red hot poker that is supposed to be used to melt the gutta percha for a root canal . Not sure what she was doing but she literally burned the crap out of my lip n it even left a little scar . When she did that she said nothing and just walked out the room . Cringe and very unprofessional! Since Dr.Gido failed to inform me about the broken tools in my mouth I had constant reoccurring infection in my teeth/gums that grew & spread to behind my orbital bones and rest of face ! I was in pain daily for 2 years and had no idea why . Until, I finally went to another more established dentist . The new dentist took me seriously & did full face x rays ( i've linked below). That's when they told me that Dr .Gido either had no idea what she was doing or is just a completely negligent dentist ! Reasons below Durning my first Root canal that Dr.Gido performed, she perforated my roots in my tooth canal. When this happens she should have immediately stopped the root canal & informed me of HER mistake ,because the tooth is ruined and can't be saved after perforation a occurs .But she didn't even tell me , she filled the roots that she created & knew it was going to fail ! I think she wanted that paycheck because if she told them that she perforated the roots she wouldn't get paid for that tooth since it was HER MISTAKE.Then to top it off she under-extended that same root canal tooth ! It had to be extracted by an oral surgeon because of her actions. My 2nd Root canal done by Dr.Gido was so over-extended that she literally popped into my sinus canal causing me now to have chronic sinusitis and chronic post nasal drip. This caused constant sinus infections and headaches/ migraines. Since then I had to have both of the Root Canal teeth she performed extracted by a ORAL surgeon ,because a normal dentist couldn't even fix the damage she did ! they were so infected due to Dr. Regina Gidos greedy actions and medical negligence. I will getting a lawyer now for medical negligence against Dr.Regina Gido as this is not right and I lost more teeth due to the infections caused by her actions ! I also have the four Ds of medical malpractice which are duty, dereliction (negligence or deviation from the standard of care), damages, and direct cause. Which I can prove all of them . Hope this reviews keeps anyone from also going through the pain,suffering , and the emotional damage this has caused me . Don't be like me ! Research these dentist and don't just go to the first person your insurance gives you that is fresh out of medical school ! I know have to live with another humans mistake for the rest of my life ! Meanwhile I see online that Dr. Gido herself had a beautiful set of pearly whites ! Sure must be nice to ruin other people's teeth and walk around with a perfect smile Karma is real and will come around . Also they didn't use a rubber damn for the root canal which i thought they should be doing to reduce any bacteria from getting into where it doesn't belong . It was suggested that they have some fill ins replaced that Dr Drain did in 2019. Despite not having any issues with the fill ins we went ahead with the recommendations to replace them. Since then my oldest son has been having pain where one of the fill ins was replaced. We called the office in March when he was back home on spring break to let them know what was going on and make an appointment for him to be seen. This is where the problem started. I was asked why we waited so long to call the office? I was told my insurance won't cover the visit and I had to pay $200 for him to be seen. I work for the state and have decent dental insurance and I don't mind paying whatever I'm supposed to pay. But the fact that they wouldn't even make an appt for him to be seen to assess the tooth without me agreeing to pay $200 was ridiculous to me. I hate to leave the practice because my boys love Dr Drain but I will be switching them to my dentist.

I understand restricting your lot to your staff & patients during your open hours, but towing when you're closed? That's just not friendly or neighborly at all. After one of my remaining wisdom teeth became infected after cracking and developing a hole (a week…read morebefore my appointment to get it extracted, of course), I found myself in the kind of pain that keeps you from sleeping or eating, and of course it's a Friday, and my regular dentist is closed. I would've given my 401k, maybe a kidney, to anyone who would yank this tooth. I'm calling anyone I can find to see if any office has Saturday hours to see if someone can help me. I have two kids, and two C-sections were a walk in the park compared to the pain in this cursed tooth. Well, Cross Keys Dental was the only dentist with Saturday hours, and I somehow got a 9 AM appointment (through 1-800-DENTIST, which was amazing--highly recommend the service). I call to leave a message to ask if they can even consider extracting a wisdom tooth so I don't show up in vain. After a practically sleepless night, Dr. Kurudi himself calls at 7:30 Saturday morning to ask a few questions and promises to take a look and extract it that day if at all possible. I nearly cry with gratitude. I arrive trying not to show that I'm shaking with pain and exhaustion, can barely fill out the paperwork, but the staff was very nice. I at least got to watch the TV in the waiting room as I prayed silently for the tooth to stop throbbing. Long story short (too late, lol), I have long roots and they are too close to the nerve for anyone but an oral surgeon to do an extraction. Lucky me, right? But Dr. Kurudi and his staff were so nice, and tried so hard to help, when no one else would, and he even shaved the top of the tooth down so it wouldn't be as painful to bite down. They also referred me to two oral surgeons, one of whom I did see and she is also great, so I'm keeping her name for future wisdom tooth fun. I truly appreciated every effort they made for someone who wasn't even a patient, and I'd recommend this office to anyone needing a kind, compassionate dentist. When you have a fear of doctors, and especially if you're having issues, having someone understand and try to help is like a gift. It makes it so much easier to deal with going to the dentist. So if you're on the fence, reading this trying to decide where to go, call this office. They are rare in having Saturday hours (let's face it, teeth don't care if it's the weekend if something goes wrong) and they are truly compassionate. Absolutely 5 stars.
