Once that meeting was completed, I was told I would have to wait another hour to see the dentist again because I had been moved to the back of the line behind four other patients. I don't understand how someone with a scheduled appointment is treated like a walk-in because of delays caused by the office's own process. When I expressed my concerns, the office manager was dismissive and acted as if I was being unreasonable for not wanting to spend several hours at the office for a scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, when I asked the financial coordinator what prescription I would be receiving, his response was, "I don't know, I'm not a doctor." While I understand he may not know the answer, the response came across as unprofessional and unhelpful. A simple offer to check with the dentist would have been appreciated.
