A hidden gem on Yelp, but a highly regarded and beloved location by locals and travelers alike. The ambiance, complimented by amazing service and food attests to its impeccable reputation.
While the restaurant is known for being a Braceria with its assortment of steaks, we had the pleasure of enjoying the various appetizers and pastas.
For the antipasti, the Crostino Toscano was exceptionally umami with the chicken pate being soft and delicate on the palate. The Tartare di Manzo con Tourlo D'uovo Liquido e Parmigiano is highly recommended for those willing to step into the comfort of beef tartare, with its butter like texture, while having a distinctly sweet and almost fruity flavor.
For the primi, Pici al Ragu di Cinghiale and Paccheri Burrata e Salsiccia. Both were phenomenal dishes, however I felt the burrata and pork sausage was exceptional with its creamy texture from the burrata complimented by the smokey flavor of the ground sausage.
Finally, we were presented with the Bistecca di Chianina, that was the highlight of the course. It was beyond exceptional with its savory and tender character. Dish is served with Cyprus black salt. The dish was more than enough for four people, including the prior dish, however could mostly likely be enough for two alone.
To reiterate, highly recommended location for Florentine steak, but the pasta and appetizers should not be passed on. read more
