The patches looked awful, and a second attempt to correct them failed, too. Then I did some research and found Davis Stucco. From the very first interactions via email, I was impressed by how promptly and clearly Andy communicated. He came to my house on time and showed a depth of knowledge I had not found with other contractors. He also explained in detail what he could do and why each step was important. Then he executed on time and according to plan. The resulting patches match the historic edifice perfectly. They integrate with the existing stucco seamlessly, and this is a huge relief. His team was courteous, and they cleaned up beautifully. I would not hesitate to work with Andy again.

We had gone quite a few rounds with the other contractor but the wall just didn't meet our quality standards. Andy was super responsive, professional, and very friendly. He was confident that he could match the stucco with no problem. He came over a few days later, shaved down the old stucco, revised the work with new stucco within an hour. It matched perfectly! I didn't realize Stucco was something that required a bit more specialization, and Andy is definitely your guy if you need quality stucco work. I would hire Andy again in a heartbeat if we had any stucco needs in the future!

Roof leaking, windows leaking, wood rot, termite damage. What a mess. Seamus has the skills (and in the case of the roof, the associates) to fix all of these problems. His team chiseled out all of the aged stucco and added new chicken wire, flashing and weep screeds. He removed all the rotten wood and essentially rebuilt the front corner of my house, including a decorative wall that was so leaky that its bones had completely rotted away. Then his team re-applied base stucco and let it cure properly before mixing a beautifully colored finishing coat that was perfectly textured. The house looks amazing now. I had been putting my head in the sand for years, ignoring all the growing cracks in the stucco and knowing that water was soaking the bones of my house. I have peace of mind now. Also, as people note below, Seamus is responsive and a good communicator. So important in a contractor. Thanks Seamus.

The wall was originally made of lath and plaster. I prefer to keep the materials the closest the what was originally used for our home. Seamus was able to just that. Our neighbor highly recommended him for our stucco project, and he exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From the moment he provided his bid, everything was timely and professional. He took the time to explain the differences between Blueskin and regular waterproofing, including the pros and cons of upgrading. When it came to ordering windows, he walked us through why investing in higher-quality options was important and how it would benefit us long-term. What really stands out about John is his integrity and foresight. Our project lasted about two months through winter, with plenty of rain and wind, but he was always one step ahead. He made sure his team covered and protected the work without us ever having to ask. Even while managing multiple projects, John stayed on top of every detail. His organization and communication gave us complete confidence throughout the process. I would hire John again in a heartbeat.

I had so many questions and John was super nice about answering everything. He was also great about working with another contractor and trying to coordinate schedules and such. He also went above any beyond to ensure the quality was there. The first time he resurfaced, my husband already approved it, and they took the scaffolding down. But when John came back he wasn't 100% happy with the work and resurfaced the entire house to ensure it was up to his quality bar. You don't see many people like that in the industry. I'd 1000% recommend John for any of your stucco needs.
