We schedule our home inspection with BPI and our first contact was the office staff. I can't remember her name but she was great. She related what was in store for went over the different inspections that they offered and explained the whole process and who would be performing the inspection. They are the worst. They didn't inspect anything. Saying things like, ask owner, and people in residence so could not access. Within two days of move-in water heater needed total replacement. $6000. HVAC needed $500 repair. Heat not working at all in parts of house. Three weeks later, pool heater needed to be replaced. Not only did we spend over $1000 in inspection, We also lost bargaining power with seller. They are the WORST!! read more

Once the inspection was completed, Coy sat down with us and explained all his findings in a very detailed fashion dividing his findings into three categories, being maintenance type items, recommendation type issues, and safety items. During this discussion, Coy answered all our questions and possible actions we could take to remedy the items uncovered. Coy provided us with his written inspection report within 24 hours of the inspection as he promised. I was overwhelmed to say the least as the inspection report (69 pages) was the most extensive and thorough inspection report I have ever reviewed. I have used a number of different inspectors in the past but have never seen the quality and thoroughness of an inspection like that performed by Coy.
