It was CLOSED, wish they had put up a sign prior to going there to let us know that it was no longer open.

Yes. It's a rest stop. While the amenities you expect in a rest stop are rather ordinary here,…read moreit's the surroundings that should impress and make this stop stand out. I think it might be the only rest stop on this road between Gardiner (and Yellowstone Park) and Livingston. There are picnic tables that can give weary travelers a chance to take a break. There's even a fire hydrant in the dog "rest stop" so even your furry companion can have some relief. A nice feature of this rest stop is the short walking path that takes you down to the Yellowstone river, which is flowing pretty quickly in this area, and from where you can get a very impressive view of Emigrant Peak. Depending on the time of day, it'll be like existing in the middle of a postcard picture. Even if you don't need the break from driving, stop here anyway just to enjoy the view. And if you're southbound into the park, consider it a preview. If you're northbound from the park, experience it a post-script of what you left behind.

Scenic rest stop in Emigrant MT…read more I know a rest stop is usually not one of those one would review but this Emigrant Rest Area is worth noting. It is the most scenic one I've seen so far. Located on the east side of Highway 89 between Emigrant and Gardiner on the way to or from Yellowstone National Park. The roads are paved and the parking lot is level. The rest stop has clean restrooms and also has sectioned picnic tables in a nice roofed picnic area. They have a pet area too. The views are pretty and is located right along Yellowstone River. Saw some people fishing so you can do some fishing too while you are there! LoL There are slots for RV/trailer and truck parking. Open year round (some rest stops in MT are not). There is a historical marker on sight about the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness which is over a million acres of wilderness in a track of land covering portions of three states. Interesting read. And off we go... Review #2330

I was complaining about the miserable parents who don't contain their children and make them mind. It's frustrating that parents don't care about their children or respect that other people exist. The front desk offered to move me to another room. I was shocked. I didn't even ask to be moved but it was fabulous that they offered and I accepted. I will definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend anyone who wants to be treated as a fabulous guest, stay at this hotel. Thank you again to the wonderful staff!!!

Checked that room and shower was dirty again, they switched us yet again Tyand shower was dirty, there was trash in the room, the linens were dirty and with a black light we saw disgusting stains. The couch was horrible as well. When we went to complain they said there was no other room they could switch us too, refused to call the manager until I raised my voice to complain. The front desk guy argued back with me - that's not a great representation of the company! Finally he called the manager and were told to come back tomorrow. We had to find a new hotel room at midnight putting out out several hundred dollars more for a last minute stay. The next day I called to speak to a manager who was on her third day of the the job and she was very rude , did not apologize! Don't worry, I'll send corporate the photos as well' DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

We got a cozy two-room suite, which gave us privacy and saved some dollars. We were on the second floor, with an indoor-facing balcony with several chairs, opening onto the high-ceiling hall, with soothing "white-noise" from a pool full of giant koi goldfish. Cool! The swimming pool was nice, with windows to the outside so it was bright. Clean pool, and clean pool area. it was big enough. I think there were five hot tubs! Breakfast was pretty good. Hot eggs, sausage links, slightly spicier smoked sausage slices (yum!), grits, potatoes. Biscuits! Also a pancake machine! That was a little slow when everyone was there, but it was fun, especially for the kids. Good tasting hot coffee. A wide-open high-ceiling dining area. There's large fireplace in the lobby, of course not lit in July (2026). The top of the walls at reception are decorated all around with antlered mounted trophies. We loved the log-cabin look. It was like a resort lodge with all the conveniences of being close to downtown bars and restaurant and nearby big box stores.

This location is close to the highway only a few miles from the downtown area. You're away from the crowd but close enough if you need anything. The decor and ambiance is what you would expect, outdoorsy, wooden, chic, with a medium high end vibe. The rooms are nice with a small fridge, coffee bar area, a desk that I have used and needed many mornings and nights. The hotel staff is superb. The gym is better than most. Pool and Jacuzzi is always a nice touch. The free breakfast and coffee is always a good touch. I'll be back when I come back for work and for a vacation with my family.

I arrived earlier than expected, and was pleasantly surprised that a room was available right away. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially mike, he even recommended a great local spot for lunch. The lobby was inviting and thoughtfully stocked with complementary coffee and water. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also used the gym twice during my stay, and it exceeded my expectations. It was clean, stocked with towels and water, and featured excellent equipment, a brand new peloton bike. There was also a nice indoor pool. The complementary breakfast each morning was fresh, satisfying and a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to everything . I rented a car, I was a bit disappointed that guests are charged for parking. I do hope the hotel will consider waiving parking fees in the future. After I returned home, I noticed a charge on my bill from the hotel restaurant, a charge i hadn't made. I called the hotel, and they assured me they would look into it. Just two days later, i received a call from Ryan Bates, the assistant general manager, who personally apologized for the inconvenience and promptly issued a refund. That level of customer service truly stands out and ledt a lasting impression. All in all, this was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again next time im in Bozeman.
