I just had a great experience with Pool Depot Services. I had an issue with my heater and…read moretemperature sensor. They scheduled a tech right away, and the visit was on-time, quick and super professional. They were very honest and did their best to solve my problem with the lowest cost possible. I would definitely recommend them.

Add this company to your shortlist of dependable, professional companies that will treat your…read moreproperty as if they own it. That's a BIG statement but I have the experience to back it up. 1. Unlike several of their industry peers, this company quoted removal of old pool equipment and sale/installation of new equipment. I never thought that'd be exotic, but there were more that flaked out by not keeping their appointment to check out the work/provide estimates/provide complete estimates. 2. They actually did the work - to the letter of their quote - and left the work area pristine when they were done. The principal, Lissy, shared a ton of product knowledge about the motor and filter so we were able to make a solid purchasing decision to get a top brand, variable speed pump to best work with the new pool heater. The pool motor is SO quiet, we actually had to stand next to it and look for signs it was working! If you've not purchased new pool equipment in a couple of years, you will be amazed at the difference! 3. Lissy was knowledgeable about the pool heater too. She coordinated the equipment delivery with the installation and worked with our electrician to make it all happen. Together, they submitted permits for the mechanical (Pool Depot Services) and electrical (My Electrical Genie) work. It was wonderful to benefit from their collaboration - they did their work as promised so each company could keep to their work schedule and successfully complete the project without one schedule change! They each passed City inspection without a hitch! I was SO impressed by Pool Depot Services that I asked if they provide weekly pool service. They do! And I did luck out because the pool tech that now services our pool was the same person who installed the pool equipment! Can your pool tech do that? Amazing, right? The pool looks great, week after week. 4. Their customer service is exceptional! A day after the pool heater was installed, it seemed a bit loud for a 'Superquiet' unit so I asked Lissy about it. She arranged for a rep from the manufacturer to be at our house the next business day. Uh, wow!!!! It turned out that the grate on top of the unit got jostled during shipment (it came on its own pallet, in a 5'x5' box). The rep only needed to adjust the grate and tighten the fasteners for the heater to run quietly. I loved the quick service and easy fix! Do I LOVE Lissy and our tech, Roberto? You betcha! Do we continually congratulate ourselves in finding this company? Oh yes we do! Every step of the way, no matter how small our inquiry, Lissy has quickly responded. Roberto is professional, personable and very skilled. And this year, for the first time ever, we were in the pool in mid-March, and often since then. We are using the pool much more often and know that the equipment we purchased is an investment in many years of fun in the sun! We trust Pool Depot Services to continue to provide quality and complete service.

First of all, I like to say I'm not one to complain about much. However, today, I have no choice…read more I've been using Village Pool for years until this morning that I discovered that I'm pay well over $100 for their pool guy to come and just pour 2 5 gallons of chlorine without testing the water. They are supposed to clean the pool when necessary. My pool is green but I guess that's not considered necessary. My navigator has not worked since last week, but he didn't even get close to it to be able to see if it was working. If he spent 10.minutes in my property, I think I'm being generous. I cancelled my service as of today and will no longer be using them. Best of luck.

I used Village Spa & Pool for awhile to service my pool after I had them install a new pump at my…read morehouse. The work done on the pump was good, however the ongoing weekly service was lazy. My pool kept having lots of issues. We had cascading calcium falling off the walls of my pool which has irreparably damaged the new finish (this was caused by them not managing my PH. It was at 8.6 when I finally got it tested; it should be 7.4-7.6) To constant algae issues which had me cleaning the filter every few days to keep the pool clear. Finally I decided to have the water tested at my local pool store. I needed $90 worth of salt, stabilizer, and acid just to get my pool back to normal. I fired them after this. Since taking over my own pool and properly checking the chemical balance I have had no issues. Their tech only uses the instant strips to check, snd they never seems to want to add the chemicals it actually needs, instead they seem to favor just adding more chlorine (probably cause it's cheap). My Mom also has used them for over a year, and has ended their relationship today as well for the same reasons. Her salt level was at 2000 when it should be at 3000-3400. Did they add salt? Nope, just poured chlorine into a salt water pool and not fixing the actual problem. She needed $80 worth of chemicals to get it back to normal. If you have a salt water pool do not hire them. If you have a chlorine pool maybe that's ok since they love adding chlorine.
