Dean is hands down the best coach I've ever worked with, and I've worked with ALOT of coaches. I…read morehad a lot of issues trying to drop body fat because I didn't know what to eat. I would ask ways resort to doing a lot of cardio and cutting my carbs and calories, but that unfortunately backfired because I would lose weight, then gain it all back within the next few months. I honestly thought I was broken because nothing I tried works. My sleep was terrible and I always felt bloated. My sex drive also disappeared completely and some days, I could barely get through the day because of how tired and in a brain fog I was. Dean put together a nutrition plan that was way more flexible, and I was able to stick to because it was as stringent as everything else I had tried before. I slowly started feeling better, and I was shocked to see that I was eating more than any other diet I tried and losing body fat completely. My sleep got 100 times better, so I don't have to sit and stare at the ceiling every night anymore dreading the next day. The workouts were also super fun, and really helped me stay motivated because I felt like I was always progressing. As a final point, dean is very compassionate and understanding. He always had an answer for every question and made me feel like there is actually a solution for me to be in better health, physically and mentally. Thanks so much for everything dean, you've really changed my life!!

That being said, the biggest impact he had on me was instilling confidence, consistency, and energy into my life. I will forever cherish everything I've learned, and can't recommend him more highly. I feel like they do a great job of safety and teaching. I went to another gym yearsssss ago where my second class I was already rolling with a really beefy guy and I couldn't move, not a great experience. But here at Triangle, they do a great job of making sure we feel confident before we jump in and there's a time frame before we can start participating in the live training and also when women and men can start rolling together which is pretty cool (makes it less pressure)! Coach Clay is awesome and top class and so are the other coaches (Shoutout to Coaches Reishi, Owen and Justin). We're really excited to continue learning and growing here! Coach Dave Dow, a former Muay Thai fighter, with significant international experience in Thailand…read moreand Japan, teaches students of almost all age ranges (4 and up). I am an adult student. I am a rank beginner, and I got to kick and punch in my first class. Coach Dave is a great instructor. Gentle and firm. He taught me how to put a headlock on one of my classmates who towered over me (well, my classmate was nice enough to bend down a little, too!). He pushes me, and I sweat freely by the end of class, leaving cortisol behind and swimming in endorphins. He manages classes with students of significantly different experience and strength levels. I added Muay Thai classes to my weekly weight training, and the moves--foot work, elbow throws, and knee throws--add so much extra training of my other muscles. They challenge and improve my balance and core and have boosted my physical confidence like crazy. We also spar in class, which I never expected to like, but my classmates are thoughtful and engaged in trying to maintain good form and getting better with our moves - they have all been super helpful in observing my form and providing constructive observations as we spar. I highly recommend Coach Dave Dow's classes. If you live in Murfreesboro, Coach Dave's place is right across from the Lascassas Pike Kroger and right beside Papa John's Pizza. Irony: He never took one class, and has been attending for years. We needed an "After School" program to pick up our son, and keep him for a short window of time while my wife and I finish our work days during the week. Finding a place that works with kids with a variety of needs like Autism is daunting to say the least. Trusting anyone with your child is scary, but finding someone that will: Listen, care, learn their personality, and actually want to make a personal connection is PRICELESS. Everyone one at One Nation embodies these principals. As I said, our son never took a single class. We even purchased him a "Gee" or outfit in hopes he would participate in the Jui Jitsu classes after school. Not all of the students at Jui Jitsu Nation do the classes. The family (I do mean family) here are genuine people that establish respectful and caring boundaries. Everything you could ever hope for, and likely do not see at a conventional "Child Care" environment, is standard practice at One Nation Jui Jitsu like: Respect, Accountability, Compasion, and Leadership. You can also learn Jui Jitsu if interested. Bryce is growing up, and no longer needs the after school support, so sadly we will be parting ways. Special thanks to Tyler, Master (Owner) Cliff, "Professor Cheetos" (Bryce called him that...actual its Geo), and the entire One Nation Jiu Jitsu Family for making our son welcomed to be him self. Martial arts are not for everyone, but I highly recommend keeping an open mind. Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Judo were foundation built as a youth that still serve me to this day. It is MORE than self defense. It is Self Esteem, and life skills we all need. I hope that you are fortunate enough to find in your own towns, the same attributes and character we were so fortunate to experiece at One Nation Jui Jitsu. The workouts can be modified to specific injuries, fitness levels, and personal goals. I have never experienced a place where people of differing ages, fitness goals, levels of health, and lifestyles are able to come together to get an intense workout, encourage and support each other, and have real accountability. Logan Spence goes above and beyond the typical group coaching responsibilities. He will teach you unique and powerful training techniques, valuable nutrition information, methods for creating a positive mindset and environment, and personal discipline that can be applied in your family life, job, spiritual walk, friendships, community, etc. I have already conquered many personal goals and look forward to accomplishing several more through this program. I took three minutes off my mile in one month, I've lost 75 lbs, 50 inches, and have gone down 5 pants sizes. I have also gotten a lot stronger. Even more amazing than the weight loss was the ability to come off medication. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after my pregnancies and literally felt pain with just the softest touch. My body ached constantly. I have also been on antidepressants for 11 years and was told I would be on them the rest of my life. I was scared to come off my medication, but also curious to see what happened once I started getting my health on track. It was very gradual, but through the encouragement from my trainer and the class members, I was able to do it! I have been off medication for a year and a half now and have never felt better. Come to any of the classes and you will hear many testimonies of how Your Infinite Being has positively impacted and altered the lifestyles of its members.
