It…read moreis a task I never like to do as a parent but when it was time to decide on a new after school program for our two boys--Guardian made the decision easy. I sent an email through their site just to ask some general questions and received a reply super fast. Then I decided to call and realized it was during a class time so I hung up without leaving a message. I was so surprised to still get a return call to see if my needs were met. Every time I had a question that I sent by email, I received a response. Finally decided I needed to see it for myself and during my initial visit one of the children came right up to me and told me, "I think you will like this place." That child was right! My boys have been attending now for about a month and they can't stop talking about it. They are 10 years old and 6 years old. They are learning respect and discipline without experiencing a military style boot camp. They get so much physical activity but yet time to just be a kid. I feel bad that I made them endure in another program (ESP) for the last year instead of finding Guardian sooner. It is like having a new little family. The kids quickly made friends and are learning the expectations of the classes. The Professors, Coaches and staff are super engaging and helpful. When my kids are happy and safe, it makes me feel secure that have chosen well. Thanks Guardian for all you do!

We take a no nonsense approach to BJJ in the fact that we really put an emphasis on BJJ that works in self defense. Many of the schools around the area train for competition, but when it comes to competition, our gym's characteristics really manifest itself in competition. But the biggest reason why I'd give this gym 5 out of 5 is due to the fact that coach really cares for each of the students. He takes the time to make sure that we get each technique before moving on.
