I called Assia ahead of time to inquire if there would be any flower substitution with the "nude chic" arrangement because I have not had the best experiences with online flower deliveries looking like the picture I order from. She assured me she had everything in stock and I requested to change the purple orchids because they didn't match. The next hitch is that the delivery had to go to a sorority house at USC and I was very concerned because sometimes the girls don't answer the front door and it's not the best area to have a delivery left at the door. Boxed Flowers & Sweets executed this delivery with precision. The delivery arrived at the time requested and the delivery guy was able to reach someone to answer the door, and even took the name of the girl that received the flowers. The boxed display was over the top! WOW! I have never heard my daughter's voice so extremely happy and appreciative. All of the sorority girls were marveling at how gorgeous her flowers were, and even sending pictures to their moms. My daughter was so touched by their beauty & perfection. No wilty edges, pure fresh beauty. My daughter said the display was so big that it went from her hip all the way up and she really appreciated how massive this display was. I'm so incredibly happy and will definitely be ordering from here again. I would love Assia to add a few more boxed displays on the order page for us to choose from her creations for ease. They are stunning, and I would love to see what she puts together to place another order. I shopped around a lot on Bloomnation.com before picking these and I felt they were one of the most competitively priced for the size of the arrangement. I highly recommend this shop if you want to make somebody's day and make jaws drop. Know that you can count on the order to arrive flawlessly. Thank you Assia and team.

Moldy flowers... Gross!!! Super disappointing. Received these flowers for my birthday and they began to have significant visible mold in a few days. These flowers came in a display box. I took them out of the display in 4 days and on the 6th day my boyfriend told me to throw them out because there was mold on them. Needless to say I wanted to correct him because I never heard of anything like that but lo and behold when I walked up to them I was in shock. There was mold EVERYWHERE. Absolutely unsavable and totally unsanitary. My friend that purchased these for me contacted the business several times with no response. I finally sent an email letting them know about the situation again and they pretty much told me that there was nothing they could do. The conversation I had with them via email is in the pictures below. I understand everyone's having a hard time through covid but this is as unprofessional as It gets. Not only were they unwilling to help at all, they never gave any directions on care for their flowers. Imagine going to a doctor that gives you medicine and there's no description on how to or what to take the medicine with and when you get sick they pretty much say oh well. Has anyone else ever had their flowers mold on them?? Definitely first I've ever heard of.

Cement vase arrangement being advertised.

I rarely order flowers from anywhere but JLF. Only because I know what I pay is what I'll receive. I believe as customers we all want consistency. My aunt received flowers from my sister on her birthday. I loved the color combo and the vase so I asked where she purchased them from and she said Boxed flowers in Burbank. When I found out she paid $240 I was shocked. The florist looks talented with beautiful flowers to show.... This review is not to insult the business owner in any way. But just to shed some light on the floral industry and how it can be unnecessarily expensive. Just a tip for future buyers: tell the florist you don't want your roses opened up wide. Florists use this technique where they open the roses so that the arrangement can look fuller. This lessens the amount of flowers they need to use and the flowers end up having a shorter life. For this arrangement the website shows 65 roses. I understand substitutions can be made. For example, in this order the vase is not the exact one and that stuff is understandable. That doesn't warrant a complain. I took the honor of writing this review, because I know my sister just wouldn't. But I don't think it's fair to pay for 65 roses and get like 3 dozen instead, just because the vase looks "full"- especially at a family gathering where everyone wants to know where each flower came from and the price. I would never say this looks like a $240 arrangement. Even though my sister requested a different color flower does that necessarily mean to make the flowers less? If that's the case, then the business should communicate that with the customer. Regardless, I decided to share my review. (The dusty pink with gray and Squarish box is what she got. The item advertised is the rounded cement with the white flowers. )

It is my sister's 60th birthday today, it is her first birthday without our younger sister, who passed away suddenly a few months ago. So, with the Hope of making her birthday a little better, I shopped for some flowers to be delivered to her online. Not certain if the flowers would be delivered on time, I placed the order with Boxed Flowers & Sweets last night. I must say, I am extremely happy that not only the flowers were packed beautifully, it was hand delivered with no problems this morning. The delivery man rang door bell twice, no answers, so he proceeded to leave a text message to my sister letting her know she had a flower delivery at her front door. What a service, delivery man did not just leave the flower and left when no one answered the door. A big THANK YOU to Boxed Flowers & Sweets for putting a smile on my sister's face on her special day.

Wow! What an absolute show stopper this arrangement is. I purchased these for my newly married cousin and her husband and they said it was the most beautiful arrangement they have ever received. It's lush, full and simply perfect all the way around. Amy assisted me and took the time to understand my wants for this and I couldn't be any happier. Great results! Amy took my order and it was a super simple process. My wife loved the flowers, they were really fresh and the arrangement was just beautiful! I ordered the large size with a letter in the middle. It was delivered before noon and was really hassle free. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. read more

This review receives 2 stars because the flowers were sent to the person on the wrong date even after I dmed and confirmed the actual date. The flowers (as you can see from the photo) don't even look like the flowers that I ordered. They look slightly wilted and looks like a very rushed job. I'm disappointed in this experience overall and as someone who owns a business, I know that my priority would be to always give my customers quality service and product. read more

SPEECHLESS!!! I contacted boxed flowers less than a day prior to my moms birthday for a last minute arrangement and let me tell you I'm shocked by their service, quality, and outcome. Assia was very helpful and straight to the point. The flowers were delivered half an hour ahead of time, great timing! My mom LOVED the arrangement, she is obsessed. The most beautiful flowers!!! My friend sent me a box of gorgeous roses (complete with champagne, a balloon, and macaroons) and I loved them so much that I ordered a bouquet for a friend two days later. That was almost a month ago now but I am still thinking about those gorgeous roses. I could see a lot of love, time, and energy went into those beautiful creations and my friend wept tears of joy when she saw her rainbow bouquet. Thank you and well done!! read more

They did a courtesy call regarding the delay of deliver due my order been placed last minute but they were able to accommodate my request, helpful and addressed my concerns! I will definitely order future flower arrangements from boxed flowers! By the way the roses are great quality! And the arrangement was just exactly as the pictures on the online shop. I found boxed flowers & sweets on yelp and was able to preorder via their website. It was extremely easy and lots of options to choose from. I ended up ordering the designer's choice large box as a surprise for my sister's birthday for delivery at her office. The delivery process was super easy. I just put in the address and gave them the times my sister will be at work and they delivered within that time frame. They did such an amazing job and the arrangement definitely exceeded my expectations. My sister was extremely surprised and absolutely loved the flowers. Definitely worth it! read more

We have been ordering here for years and this is the SECOND time they sent the wrong thing. I overlooked it the first time which was when my daughter was born. Unfortunately, my daughters 1st birthday was ruined because they sent the wrong arrangements. They up charged me by 400% for something that was only worth roughly $60 and what looked like left over material from other arrangements. Previously I had sent her a picture of what I wanted so there was no room for misinterpretation. Im a rational person and understand sometimes errors occur so I politely contacted the owner and notified her of the situation but I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A REPLY. I would definitely not recommend this business as they don't value the quality of their work or having you as a recurring customer. More of a Grab and Dash motto. I was looking for last minute flower/gift to be delivered to my hubby for our anniversary and so glad found Boxed Flowers. They were the only ones that was open until 10.30 pm on a Saturday. The flowers I received from my Valentine came from here per the card on it. I love all flowers but I was so taken by the creativity and beauty of my boxed flower arrangement, it had the most beautiful purple roses and get this - macarons! Edible and beautiful. Also the flowers lasted sooo long, must be really good quality Ecuadorian or Colombian roses or something. Whatever it is I'm inspired for future floral needs! Great business! read more

Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party. Thank goodness this was not our wedding day -- the outcome could have been an absolute disaster. I'm sharing this so others are aware: double-check your order before leaving. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

I wanted flowers deliver to my girlfriends house and I was calling flower shops and delivery places for hours till I found boxed flowers and sweets, I decided to give them a call. Assia picked up the phone was extremely nice and patient with me. I told her what I wanted to do and within 10 min she knew exactly what I wanted and was processing my order over the phone. She had the flowers I wanted delivered to the address I wanted and she even did more than I expected. I'm writing this review because I'm amazed at the customer service I received, the fair pricing and the fact that I wanted something that no one else would help me with and she did it in a matter of hours. I wanted flowers delivered to my girlfriends house at midnight for her birthday and while other flower companies and delivery services refused to give me service Assia when out of her way even tho she didn't have a delivery guy at that hour and got the flowers delivered right on time.
