Awful , on par with a scam. No returned calls or emails . I placed order 2 weeks ago and zero response . Disputes charge on credit card Would stay away from this company read more

I ordered something from them about a month ago. They charged me, and since then I have heard nothing. I checked the order number, and it does not exist. I emailed them, and they texted me the order number, with absolutely no other information. This is essentially a scam. They may actually do some business, but their customer service is terrible. I would definitely not use them. There is a reason they have so many one star reviews. read more

I ordered, I received an email saying it was being processed but then waited for weeks. I contacted customer service via email and they were responsive after a couple of tries and gave me an update that it would ship in the next week and it did. It arrived with the best cold storage shipping preparation I have ever seen. The ice packs were still partially frozen and the Italian cheese was from a recently produced batch. If you don't mind waiting for 3 weeks for your order, then they are great. If you want something right away, go elsewhere. read more

I agree with the two negative reviews. The customer service is terrible. I was lied to repeatedly about my order and told it would be there 'next week' three times. The last time I contacted them they told me that it was still on back order; the time before that it had just arrived in the country and would be with me in a few days. I finally asked for my money back. We'll see if I get it. This is a scam that you should avoid. read more

Like a lot of other reviews, I ordered an item that said it would ship in 4 days. Over a month later, it still hasn't shipped. I emailed customer service. No answer. I emailed again, someone actually answered saying that it was backlogged. I ask for an estimate: "We don't have a confirmed date as yet." I then repeat that I would like a ballpark estimate to figure out if I need to cancel or not, no response. Emailed again, no response. Do not use this company. read more

Horrible customer service. Multiple messages left with no call back, email, or communication from them to resolve my issue. Will not be patronising this business again and caution you to steer clear if quality customer service is your priority read more

Unfortunately I had a pretty poor experience with BoxNCase. I agree with all the others about slow responses (pre-delivery took a few emails to finally hear back), and then NO responses (post-delivery I had questions regarding my order that was thawed upon arrival and I was concerned). I did finally get a response back to my 4th email, weeks later. Despite the friendly tone of all my previous emails, my last to them expressed my disappointment and serious frustration that I was getting zero response. At this point I had no confidence. After letting them know that I felt pushed to leave a public review of my bad experience unless I heard back within 24 hours, I finally got a response, that very day. It was rude and snarky. I was told my account had been closed and that they would not be answering my emails, and that "We are not able to offer Free products based on customer demands." No demand from this customer for free products...but if you cannot assure safety, I do think a refund at this point would make sense. Had they responded weeks prior, it may have made a difference. I have never written a negative review before, but his company does not seem to care, at least not for the small customer. It's a shame because they carry some quality products, and had things gone more smoothly they would have been a great resource. Now? I'm out the food and the money. read more

Echoing the countless bad reviews for this business: a sleazy SCAM operation that doesn't have any of the actual stock they advertise, terrible unresponsive customer service, and pulling a bait-and-switch on customers. I ordered product that was advertised with a delivery window in April. When the order never shipped in the anticipated timeframe, I reached out to request a refund. I received an initial response from "Chad" saying the product was due for harvest in early May and "If you would like to proceed with canceling your order and requesting a refund, I can assist you with that immediately." That same day, I confirmed (again) that I would like a refund. I never received the refund, then a few weeks later, "Chad" emails to say that they received a shipment of the product and "If you are still interested in placing the order, please let me know, and I can assist you with that right away." For the third time, I said that I want the refund. Never got a response or refund, after following up multiple times over the course of many weeks. Finally, I told them that I would give them 2 business days to respond to me before I file a complaint with the consumer protection bureau. I waited 4 days and still heard nothing, then filed an official complaint on May 14. Then all of a sudden on May 14, I get an email from Boxncase with a UPS tracking number saying the package has shipped--even though I requested a refund several times and never authorized the shipment, and wasn't even at the address by that point to receive the order?!?! They then told me that they cannot issue a refund until I return the package--so they expected me to print out a return slip (I don't have a printer) and go to a UPS office with a disgusting box of expired fruit for an order I asked to cancel multiple times. See the screenshot I've attached to this review The only way I was able to receive a refund was when I copied them into correspondence with the consumer protection bureau. Basically, they got scared when an actual authoritative bureau was tasked to investigate their business practices. I really hope they stop getting away this. read more

Box N Case - "We can't cancel orders once it gets shipped" (they ship orders even after you try to cancel with them so they don't have to refund you) - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Commack, New York

WARNING: BoxNCase took our full payment of $14,500 and only delivered part of the order. Despite over a month of follow-ups, they still haven't returned the $8,428 they owe us. We gave them multiple chances to resolve this quietly. They acknowledged the refund was due, but never processed it. If you're a business considering them as a supplier, be extremely careful. They've lost all credibility. If they don't issue a refund immediately, we're reporting them to the NY Attorney General, FTC, and BBB. No company should be allowed to operate this way. read more

I ordered Oishii strawberries, which I ordered from a different place in the past and they were amazing. When I received them from Boxncase I had to throw most of them out. Moldy, soft and gross. These strawberries are not cheap read more

If we could give them 0 stars, it would be more accurate. BoxnCase is a pretend business, acts like a big box retailer, overcharges by a LOT, does not deliver on time and does not have products in stock. We placed an order did never receive an order confirmation or shipping date and have tried contacting them via email with no results. Then they shipped over 2 full months later. Stay away. read more

Awful, awful company. Ordered a case of sugar-free candies. Waited several weeks. It never arrived. I contacted customer service, asked what had happened. They said it had been "delayed". When would it arrive? They didn't know, it's a mystery. I asked for a refund. They never replied to me. I then did a chargeback on the credit card. They sent Citibank a reply saying that they had shipped it, even though there was no tracking number and the order had been canceled and they obviously hadn't. I called Citibank, they said I had to send them a signed letter confirming that I hadn't received the goods. It's now three months later and I'm still dealing with this crap! Never buy from here!! read more

Unfortunately my order placed on April 1st still hasn't arrived, as of April 27th, and Box N Case will not respond to my emails for a refund of $147.41 since my order was never delivered. eIt's bad enough that I didn't get my order or a refund and even worse that they haven't answered any of my emails regarding the order! Never ever will I order from Box N Case again! This review would be zero stars if that was possible. Jerri B. read more

No QA + no cust svc + shipping price-gouging = BoxNCase stole my money May 1: ordered an item from their website, and triple-checked the quantity, price, and size of the item and ensured it was also in stock. I also was required to pay $23 for shipping. (This wasn't expedited shipping. Just their standard price.) I figured the box perhaps had some weight to it and assumed that was the reason for the high charge. May 7: When I received the shipment a week later, the box had 9 packages of the product instead of 108 as I ordered and paid for. The weight was obviously far less than 108 packages. May 8: I realize mistakes happen, so I replied on May 8 to the email and explained the issue. The last sentence of that email was this: "Will you please let me know the issue and how quickly you can remedy it?" May 12: I sent another email: "I did not receive what I ordered. I originally sent you an email the night I rec'd the package but you have not responded. Please contact me to let me know that you're sending my order on Monday. Thanks." May 13: Pat sent a one-sentence response at 11:11 AM, which was to please send a photo. At 12:26 PM, I sent the photo saying "Here you go!" May 14: I followed up because I didn't have a response: "Hi, I sent the photo yesterday. Please let me know when you will send my order." May 15: I followed up again: "Hi -- I'm looking for a response please because it's been over a week now, and longer since I ordered. Thanks." May 22: Annndddd.... I sent another email asking for resolution: "Hi - It's now been over 2 weeks since I first contacted you. I sent you the photo you requested over a week ago. I need for you to please respond with how you are going to address this before I decide that the only way to get a response is to escalate it." May 30: Today. I have yet to have any response from the company as to how they are going to resolve this. I can't find a phone number anywhere online, nor a name of a Customer Support manager or company owner. This company has poor fulfillment and QA procedures, doesn't respond to customers once they have their money, and overall demonstrates unethical operations. It's despicable to take money from customers and refuse to respond when you screw up. I'll also note that I'm out the $23 shipping charge in addition to the item I ordered. Don't purchase from this company unless you're willing to risk losing your money completely. read more

I ordered items the end of September, they took the money out of my account and it has still not been shipped. I cannot get a response as to when, just that they are still working on it. I have never had a company take money before an item was shipped. I got screwed out of over $350. read more

Order placed April 26 with an estimated delivery between May 2 and May 8. On May 10, it still had not shipped. I've asked for a refund and have received no response. I wish I would have read all these other reviews from customers who never received their order before I placed mine. As of the moment, I'm out $170, $50 of it for shipping. UPDATE: as of May 15, they did provide me a refund, after I called and left a message, emailed, and contacted them through their website. There was no actual response -- the "Shop" app on my phone notified me a refund had been made. read more

Terrible experience. I ordered two wheels of petit basque. They arrived spoiled, melting, and the ice packs were boiling hot. I reached out to receive a refund and was asked to send photos. I ordered candies for party thinking I will get it all before the party. Mind you I ordered way in advance. Find out later they partially shipped my order. So I messaged them a week before asking them what happened. They messaged back saying they did t have what I ordered. The main ones I needed for the party. I asked them when I would get them and they said they do t know. Never got them and it's passed the party and still 2 weeks later nothing so I asked for a refund. They only refunded me 2 of the 3 boxes so I had to message them again. They refunded me after that. But I was still charge a lot for shipping which was $59 even though I didn't get the other boxes. They should check they're inventory to make sure it's updated. Disappointed since those candies were my main giveaways. read more

Do not use this vendor! Awful customer service. Sleazy business. Look for products somewhere else. When you ask for help with a concern the yell at you and accuse you of trying to get free merchandise. This is not away to run a business. read more

I ordered a case of fancy salt, paid $105.87, waited a month, delivered today - 10 cylinders of salt instead of 12 as the order states. I contacted both orders@boxncase.com and support@boxncase.com - their ANSWER is that I should FILE a COMPLAINT with UPS, which is completely blameless - the box was sealed, unopened, untouched. This is clearly a matter of the PACKER being unable to count up to 12. The box itself exactly fits 3 X 3 cylinders with one laid on top = 10. Totally terrible service and support. Do NOT order from this company and expect any kind of business like behavior! read more

I ordered tomatoes online. They took a week to get the order ready and ship it. When it finally arrived all the tomatoes were green. In the mean while some of them had started to rot. Considering the high cost and shipping charges ordering online from them is not worth it. read more
