What stood out in a negative way though was the other employee there, a dark brunette girl, (I think I overheard her name is ashlin?) who spent most of the time sitting down talking to her boyfriend instead of helping out. I didn't see her help prepare anything while I was there. She was also being unnecessarily rude toward the blonde employee, who was clearly handling everything on her own without complaining. The food and cleanliness were great, but management should probably address the brunette employee's behavior because it definitely changed vibe. Big credit to the blonde worker for staying professional and kind the entire time.

The base doesn't have that deep, rich berry flavor or creamy consistency that comes from real, properly blended açaí. It honestly felt more like a bland smoothie with loads of added sugar and with toppings than a true açaí bowl. It's frustrating because I wanted to like this place. The vibe is great, and it clearly tries to appeal to the health-conscious crowd. But for someone who knows what an açaí bowl should taste like, it's disappointing to spend money on something that just doesn't measure up. Adding to the service, when I was there is was fairly late afternoon with just me as the only customer. They had two employees working and it took about 20 minutes for them to make my bowl.
