I took my 2023 Hyundai Tucson in for inspection, emissions, (free) oil change, and (free) tire rotation. I was pleasantly greeted by Nick Pyle (Service Advisor). After a little bit in the waiting area, (which is very clean and cozy, by the way), he came out and made me aware of a couple other things I should consider getting done soon from their inspection. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do them all today, but he kindly wrote them down for me so I'd be able to schedule a follow up visit. The inspection was actually free as well since I had purchased the vehicle from them, so that was a very nice surprise! Service Dept has really gone down. Overpriced for brake job and now charge 3% to use credit card. Who ever heard of that in this world of using credit cards??!! Waited over a hour after scheduling an appt three weeks in advance. Service Rep was not ay all helpful or seemed to care! Will look for another service place!! Sad since we have bought 4 vehicles there and always had them serviced. No more! read more

If you buy a car here, service it somewhere else! The service department is the ABSOLUTE WORST! Took my daughters 2024 Kona back because the tires were completely bald and they said "you need new tires and an alignment". I didn't want anything free or discounted, I just wanted my concern to matter! It did not! They SHOULD have said, "let's look into this and see what has caused this. To the owners of Bowsers... Take a SERIOUS look at this dealership's service department. The lady and the young man who work there, assisting customers, are the WORST FACE that your company could ever have. You are losing customers because of this. Do whatever you have to do... send someone in as a spy, put up video surveillance... ANYTHING! You will see it for your self. Fully regretting purchasing my car here. Not sure if it's all Hyundais or just this dealership, but this place has made me want to never buy another Hyundai again. Salespeople, finance, and service departments are all shady. Guess people don't usually buy cars that frequently so it's not like they have to worry about keeping customers: As long as they've duped everyone in the area at least once, I guess they've made their money. Thank you so very much to Brian for checking my Hyundai Tucson when I had it towed in today. The car was stuck doing only 20 mph. I tried speeding up, using breaks, checked the gears thinking maybe it was stuck in 1st or 2nd gear. When I phoned AAA, I was told it was a safety feature in cars that they only go 20 mph when there is an engine issue. I smelled burned rubber. AAA customer service suspected it was the belt. AAA & tow driver were caring, polite, professional, & made sure I was safe, which I appreciate. When we arrived at Bowser, I got a bit lost going to where service was before remodel. Woman at desk told me mechanics would not be back until 1 p.m. & that there were several people ahead of me. New waiting lounge is nice. Great coffee bar. Turned out I accidentally turned on cruise control without realizing it. Guessing the burning I was smelling were the brakes trying to keep the car at 20 mph. Very grateful to Brian for checking car so quickly & figuring out what happened...& teaching me how to turn off cruise control. Thank you so very much. Very grateful read more

Be ware that 3 years free maintenance with purchase has catches! The first oil change they did for me was at 5000 miles and now they are saying they won't do another till 15,000, that I'd have to pay. The car is showing it needs service but they say it isn't covered. The sticker they put on the car last time also says 10,321 next due. Basic maintenance that I was told was included is now suddenly not covered. They wanted to charge $60 for an oil change! I drove an hour because I was told free maintenance for 3 years. I even told them my mileage over the phone when I set up the appointment. The free maintenance was the closing deal for me when I purchased but it was lies. The car is literally saying it needs service. So I wasted time and money coming back out here when I could have gotten everything done cheaper closer to home. I declined paying $60 for an oil change and didn't even ask how much tire rotation would be. Went through with inspection and emissions but won't be back here. They initially wanted to charge for emissions but did end up waving that, which I appreciate but also should be included with 3 years maintenance. Don't be fooled by the promise of 3 years maintenance there's a lot of catches they don't tell you about. Also the 22 Santa Fe has horrible acceleration! I was thinking about trading it in anyways. Not here though. Also the trailer they have you wait in is freezing. To top it off they sent someone down to talk to me and she smacked her gum the entire conversation, very distracting and rude to chew gum in what should be a professional environment. My 2020 Santa Fe check engine light came on and the transmission had a shudder when shifting. My daughter had to take the car to school. The service department got the car in for service, drove the car to feel the problem and fixed it. I also had the transmission serviced just in case. The mechanic even drove the car with my husband to show him the problem was resolved. I appreciate everything they did even though we did not purchase the car from them. If we buy another Hyundai, we will definitely purchase it in Chippewa from Bowser. I highly recommend them. read more

My girlfriend had a skid plate that fell off while driving her Hyundai Tuscon to work. The skid plate fell off due to someone at Pep Boys in Cranberry, PA re-installing the oil skid plate incorrectly after a routine oil change. Brian and Mike were extremely helpful in service and were very honest and up front and did not charge us for looking at the vehicle in an emergency needed situation. I don't know where all these people giving bad reviews were but it wasn't the place I was at today. This was my first oil change since I bought the car there. I called on Friday and got an appointment Monday afternoon at the time I picked. They changed my oil, checked out my car, filled the fluids and even changed the batteries in both my key fobs--all free!. They were very kind and courteous even though they are going through a major building renovation. They were nothing but nice when I bought the car, even when I brought it back the next day with questions on how some of the electronics worked. I got the car for what I expected to pay and have been very happy with it. I would recommend them to anyone. They also said my next oil change will be free also. read more

Twice I had had to wait months to get my car repaired. I should have learned my lesson the first time. It took one week to get in the part, but it is now going on 8 weeks and still no work has been done. No loaner car was given, and all that I am being told is, "We're busy" or "Next week". I found another place that could have done it for $500 less with a much better part but was promised it would be done sooner than that place. Worst dealership experience ever. Apparently when you call you are talking to a call center. I had set an appointment at the dealership to look at a car and was told by the representative that they were waiting for me. I advised that I was an hour away and was texting the rep all day to include right when I left. Arrived at dealership to find out I had been talking to a call center and that they were unaware that I was coming. I was advised that there was no one there to evaluate my trade nor complete a sale on the vehicle i was looking at. Was a little bent out of shape after that. However, after the weekend, I thought perhaps I would give a second chance and reached out to my "contact". He advised that he would be able to help. He took basic information and asked that I complete an online credit app. He advised that someone would get back to me. That was over 48 hours ago. I followed up at 24 hours to see whats up to be told that the manager had been busy the prior day and would get with me that day. 24 hours later still nothing. read more
