Call it unfortunate, but I had to meet Mike, the office manager one early Friday morning just as…read morethey opened. My car had started to leak coolant, and I was concerned as I was visiting family away from home. I got there before they opened, and Mike came out and picked up the mail from their mailbox where I introduced myself as being away from home - and a long way to go with a leaking car. "I can't guarantee anything, since the parts may take me three days to have sent in, and I can't put you before my other 8am approintments. But if you can wait, and they don't show up, I'll move you in and have it looked at. No promises... but we can look at it... maybe." "Maybe" was me driving away at 10:30 in the same morning, after a postponed 8am arrival, two cups of coffee, and a quick diagnosis with a new water pump installed with a replacement belt. So Mike did get a cancellation, slipped me in, told and showed me that I needed a new belt (the old one was glazed, shreaded, and ready to fall apart), and had them delivered into the shop in short order. They even went as far as to check their work by running the car for a bit to make sure the thermostat opened up, and everything was good and tight. They even replaced the coolant, and washed off the spillage that had dripped on the engine and frame. I left Mike with a good contribution to their "Donut Fund." If they read this, please have a jelly one on me guys. Because Mike and you all are a great team. I could tell by the way you treated each customer while I waited in their waiting room. (Which had toys for the kids, lots of memorabilia, and good strong coffee for when the news isn't the best and you have to wait longer than I did. Bottom Line: They earned their Golden Reader's "Best of the Valley" Award for 2014 from the Times. Their gshop is busy, they do inspections, and I was very pleased to have met Mike, the shop owner.

Brought 2 of our vehicles here to have the tires swapped. A few minutes after arriving they told us…read morethey couldn't swap them because they were all wheel drive vehicles and tires were different sizes (going from an acadia to explorer). My husband and I have both worked in the auto industry do we already the tire sizes were able to be swapped, and for that matter both our vehicles are front wheel drive! My husband asked to see the vehicles while they were in the air (to double check), and sure enough FWD. He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.

I was fortunate to meet Nick and his father Doug at a local car cruise. We discussed some issues I…read morewas having with my classic corvette and I decided to ask them to look into my problems. After inspection, they found several other issues that needed to be professionally addressed. They kept me informed every step of the way with regard to both time and cost. Luckily for me, they are focused on making the car 'right'. An older muscle car is a considerable investment. Nick and Doug have several classics of their own. It is a relief to find a shop that would take the time for fix my car the way that they would want their own classic car be fixed. I will be back to address a few bigger issues when time permits. We are fortunate to have a speed shop like this in Beaver County. If you are as particular and as protective with your car, as I am, then I highly recommend talking with Nick and Doug.
