    Loved their Chardonnay!

Bowman, you ol' cutie, you! Showing out with both your tasty wines and incredible service! Came here with a friend during the Route 116 club member appreciation weekend, and we had a super fun tasting experience! I say fun because Flyn was such an amazing host. She had so much personality and charm. This lady knows her wines too! We really enjoyed learning about the wine and how the tasting room came about. It was also fun to get to know a little bit about Flyn herself. Let's talk about their tasting room though; ADORBS!!! It's conveniently located right in town on the corner of the street. Their courtyard is so pretty! I absolutely adore the entire setup of their patio. They've got several different places to sit with a mix of patio tables, lounge chairs, and benches. Their garden is kind of weaved all throughout their courtyard which is so unique. A very chic and hip setup here. Whoever designed their courtyard deserves a pat on the back because this entire layout is gorgeous and comfortable. Didn't get to peek inside their indoor tasting room this time, but their patio was enough for me to enjoy. We tasted three of their signature wines that day; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel. Their Chardonnay was hands down my absolute favorite of the bunch. It was light and crisp with a little bit of citrus on the nose. I love this kind of Chardonnay and theirs' definitely impressed. I also enjoyed their Pinot Noir but I wasn't completely blown away by it. They also sell snacks and light bites. We ordered some meat, cheese, fruit, and nuts to enjoy with our wine. Everything is sold in individual packaging and they have to-go boxes for whatever you don't finish. We really enjoyed our tasting with Flyn! Excited to see what other wines that they'll have in store next time.

This review is long overdue because my fiancé and I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! S E R V I C E: We first met Katie and Alex, and visited Bowman Cellars for a friend's birthday. Instantly, we loved the location and the ambiance of the place. Katie and Alex, the owners, are the coolest people you'll ever meet. They make you feel at home and of course are very educated with the wines they create and give to you. We became wine members the first time we went tasting there on our own, and have taken most of our family members as well. At one point we were visiting every month! Finally, my fiancé and I had our engagement party there. It was such a perfect ending to a perfect day! We trust Katie and Alex so much, and knew our families would have a blast. W I N E: Everything is amazing, which is why we became members right away! You know when you taste a wine, and you make a grimace right away, and pretend to like it because it's expensive? Well, that's never felt when you drink their wine haha! Everything is light and easy (which is also dangerous ;)) but at the same time you know you're getting amazing quality. O V E R A L L: Best wine/power couple ever. That is all :)

This review is long overdue. Bowman cellars, ran by Alex and Katie Bowman is a beautiful tasting room in Graton. They have an airstream out front that's open for tastings. They are amazing hosts and serve a delicious flight. I enjoy all of their wines, when I say all I mean ALL! They have a wine for every occasion. I love this place so much I became a member and I have been a happy member for a couple years now. I have hosted multiple events at the tasting room and they have always been amazing. I consider Katie and Alex friends and I recommend this place to everyone. When you're here you really are treated as family.

What a lovely visit - highly recommended. Went there with a group of 6 people. We sat outside in comfy chairs and were treated to a delightful seated tasting, hosted by the wife of the owner and wine maker - she was darling. For $15 we tasted their Rose of Pinot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cab. We especially liked their Rose - light, flavorful and tasty - perfect for a summer day. Since we were there on a weekend so they had their famous biscuit sandwiches available from the air stream. We each got a sandwich with a side salad - very tasty as well. It is a quiet town so the atmosphere was serene, not touristy - perfect for relaxing and chatting with friends. Most enjoyable - thanks!

Enjoyed our tasting here, very cool atmosphere and relaxing outside on the deck. Would definitely come back here again.

Loved it! We loved everything we tasted. The outside patio is perfect for a tasting or a glass with friends. I loved that it wasn't overcrowded and stuffy with too many people. Friendly service and high quality wines. Great location with food nearby if you drink too much. A+ I will be back!

We hosted a birthday celebration outside on a covered patio. 20 guests. Perfect place, great service.

Amazing chardonnay. I am not usually a big fan of chardonnay but this is amazing!

We finally got to get to the winery. We had a great time. The wine was all perfect and Flyn was a wonderful host. :) We didn't want to leave. The property was so beautiful and comfortable, I recommend it to everyone!

My first visit here and won't be my last! I loved everything about Bowman Cellars, from the warm & friendly service, the incredible wines and the gorgeous setting. I am not typically a Rose or Chardonnay fan, however I was pleasantly surprised how delicious both of these were. The Rose was so refreshing and not too sweet- a perfect summer wine. We happened to bring our own picnic, but they offer some nice small bites if you choose not to bring your own food. We sat on the covered porch which was perfect on the warm day we visited. They have an amazing Airstream Trailer on the grounds which will become a food truck. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Katie Bowman who is so sweet & charming. We forward to our next visit to Bowman Cellars!

This is a beautiful, thoughtfully decorated space with a great outdoor area! The owners, Katie and Alex are very hands on and are often helping with the tasting experience. Flyn is also a wonderful hostess. I love the wine and they also offer perfectly paired charcuterie options to go with it. This is such a hidden gem and I am so happy I found it! I am now a wine club member and they have great club perks too! I highly recommend Bowman Cellars!

Our favorite vineyard stop this visit to Sonoma. Friendly service and charming patio.

Still 5 stars. On this sunny Friday afternoon I can think of no better place to sit down and enjoy a glass of Rosé. There is s pop-up toco's that are good. However the churros are amazing.

I always come to listen to music- specifically jazz, which they feature quite a bit. The outdoor setting at this location is very nice. I could see it conducive for events or group reservations. I came with a friend to hear the music and there's plenty of seating. There's a huge redwood tree near the table which offers shade and there are also umbrellas in the sunnier locations. They were making pizza in their own pizza oven today- however for a 10 inch pizza I thought $22 was a little bit much. There are definitely a nice variety of Pinot's offered. However, I was in the mood for something chilled and I opted for their Rose of Pinot. I was pleased with the size of the pour but not sure I would order that variety again. I do appreciate that you can bring your own snacks there

He took excellent care of us and truly spoiled our group at our tasting. We did a small tour on the grounds and learned a lot about their process and the pinot noir process in general. We all loved the wines so much that everyone bought at least 1 bottle, and two of us signed up for their wine club. In fact, we had such a good time, that our group came BACK to share a bottle of wine in between our reservations. Dave took care of us and we were happy to spend some more time with him. It is such a great place -- the wine is incredible, service is excellent, views are gorgeous, and you feel you are right where you belong. Cheers!

This business does not care about it's customers and is so impossible to reach it's almost comical…read more I was a long-term customer of Fog Crest. In 2024 we received a shipment of wine where all the wine in the shipment was broken. In typical situations, wineries offer replacement of broken bottles, but Fog Crest was impossible to reach in spite of (literally) 50 phone calls and emails. Since I couldn't reach them, I canceled my subscription to their wine club. Flash forward a few months, they charge me another ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but never ship me any wine (in spite of the fact that I had already canceled online). Again, dozens of calls and emails, no answer and no response. Still trying. A few months after that, they charge me ANOTHER ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but don't ship that wine to me either. After probably 100 calls and emails, I finally talk to the wine club coordinator on the phone. She of course acknowledges my dozens of messages, and acknowledges my situation. She says she will replace the wine that was broken and figure out why they've been charging me for wine I haven't been receiving and make it right. But that she can't talk right now and she'd call me back with more information. That was a month ago. I've now called again dozens of times, and emailed. No response. Called and emailed the owner, no response. This is borderline criminal: $1,500 in charges for undelivered product, a non-existent customer service experience, and an online system so archaic that it doesn't process your cancelation and continues to charge you for product.

We joined their wine club in 2023 and was charged $420 all of 2024/25 for wine that they NEVER shipped. When I called to inquire about where the wine was, I was met with complete silence--multiple calls and messages went unanswered. After finally getting a call back, the person said they only called me back because "she saw we had called a lot in one day." That was the first red flag. She promised to credit my account and look into another charge that had been applied. It's been SEVEN days since that conversation, and STILL no credit, no updates, and no resolution. I've followed up with multiple calls, messages, and emails... NOTHING. At this point, it's clear that they don't care about their customers. I highly recommend staying far away from Fog Crest if you value your time and money. Total waste of both

My husband booked the reserve tasting ($90, but one tasting fee is waived with the purchase of 3 bottles - which we took advantage of). Their pinot noirs are fantastic - you can smell and taste the french oak. Scott was our host and he was awesome. Really personable, knowledgeable, and friendly - would definitely request him again (if we're able) when we come back next! Upon arrival, we checked in and got to choose where we wanted to sit -inside or outside. It's a relatively small space, but we enjoyed our spot outside, as it was great weather that day. Everyone has a different palette, but we enjoyed the Warren's Hill pinot - which had a grippier, more tannin-heavy taste (than typical pinot noirs we were associated with). Aromatic, umami, darker berry fruit forward. As I preluded, the sauvignon blanc was fantastic - very fruity on the nose. Clean and bright, and I get predominantly pineapple/tropical notes. Would definitely come back again. We joined their allocation list, as they don't offer a typical wine club experience.

Place was empty aside from one other party so they were able to accommodate the walk in. The tasting room itself is nicely decorated, clean, spacious, with a more private room in the back and several tables outside. Reason from giving this place a 5 stars is we felt this place was very transactional and not personable like many other wineries in the Sonoma area. Once the tasting flight is done they ask you to either join the club for the comp, buy two bottles, or pay the $35 tasting fee - no offer to revisit any wines or pour something extra they have in inventory. I was curious to try their Sonoma cost Syrah but they didn't have any bottles open. Wines themselves were fine - enjoyed the Pinot rose and Chardonnay (made in Chablis style so more minerality), but their Pinot noirs were quite different from the typical Sonoma coast ones I've had (e.g Williams seylem, Kosta browne, Rochiolli, Arista, etc). These were much darker and less aromatic, no tannins and fuller bodied with some spice notes but short finish. The gentleman pouring for us said these are good to pair with foods, which I could imagine is true. Their estate syrah is similar in style, so similar to their Pinot noir actually, a lighter bodies and ABV Syrah that doesn't have the depth and complexity as syrahs from Paso region that I personally enjoy. But anyways, these are personal preference - when I mentioned a specific tasting note, our host basically said I was wrong. I laughed it off and went along with it, but it didn't sit well.

Yesterday was my third rose release party and it was so great to reconnect with familiar faces and their winemaker Tanner. They always support a local business that provides catering (tacos, BBQ, pizza), have a great live band, and other local artisans selling their products. I would recommend a stop at this tasting room and a visit to the Barlow (nearby) for a perfect day out.
