Removal of composition roof, repair of any bad wood panels, and installation if a new metal, standing seam roof with peak vents, in roof vents where needed, new gutters and down spouts. He also worked around existing skylights. 2. Removal of original vinyl siding, repair of a number of bad wood panels, and installation of new Hardie Board siding and soffits. They also painted all the new siding and trim. 3. Removal of original Trex deck across back of house, installed new poured concrete footings (to code) including extra footings to support a spa on deck, and then installed a Timbertech Azek deck with powder coated steel railings and Timbertech stairs. He also handled the wiring before spa removal and after reinstallation. Arnie's team worked hard and did a professional job, always cleaning up and organizing the work site. Arnie was very pleasant to work with and was always available to answer questions and meet if needed. This was an expensive project, but his prices were competitive with other contractors and he was the only one who actually got up on the old roof to inspect the job instead of standing 30' away. I'd highly recommend Arnie and Optimus for this sort of work. I know he does other type of contracting, but these three areas are those with which we have experience. Great guy, great company. Mr. Charles Wade, together with his assistant, arrived every work day on time, immediately set up, and began the job, including taking care to protect landscaping and assure no paint spatter where the deck abuts the house. After job completion, they returned one week later to check results and correct a few "bubbles." (The deck is at least 15 years old, and a few bubbles were expected.) His…read moreestimate was affordable and we felt assured when he came out to see the project as he commented on what was required according to code (apparently our dilapidated decks were not compliant and none of the other contractors we consulted with made mention of this). Bruce confirmed his availability for install beginning in late October at that time and we coordinated via email as that time approached. Bruce and his team do very great, thorough work. They were all very friendly and trustworthy. We are very pleased with our deck replacements and the dry rot pieces they both identified and replaced on our front support columns. Bruce also hung up our new address numbers for us at the conclusion of the project, which was a big help for us! We did not receive an invoice until the very end of the project (after 3 of 4 payments were made), but did receive one nonetheless. Despite this, we don't have any concern about Bruce and his team coming out to repair anything that should arise. Though, we don't expect that to happen based on the quality work they provided. Their focus is on their craft, not the administrative pieces of the business.
