We stopped by last minute to take a few graduation photos of my niece before heading to her ceremony, and the grounds made the perfect backdrop. We didn't have much time to explore because we were trying to get to graduation, but everywhere we looked was beautiful. The property is well maintained, clean, and full of gorgeous photo opportunities.

I provided documentation supporting the factual statements in my review, yet it was still removed based on a technical eligibility determination, not because my experience was found to be untrue. Based on the platform's published review policies and the timeline of my case, I believe the review was removed in error. In my opinion, this is another example of WEC choosing to challenge customer criticism rather than take accountability. It only reinforces the lack of professionalism we experienced throughout our wedding planning process. I stand by every word of my original review and hope other couples will carefully consider our experience when choosing a wedding venue. - original review- Brides and grooms, beware. My fiancé and I signed a contract with the World Equestrian Center in December 2023 for our wedding ceremony in the Chapel and our reception on the Stirrups Terrace. We were thrilled, believing we had secured our dream wedding. However, just 41 days before our big day, I discovered on WEC's website that they were hosting a Grand Prix event in the main arena and selling tickets for a dining experience on the Stirrups Terrace where our dream reception was to take place. Learning about this significant change online, rather than through our WEC representative, highlights their unprofessionalism--unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. When we confronted WEC, they admitted to being aware of the conflict but insisted we relocate our reception to another area. All that was offered to my fiancé and I for this massive inconvenience was a 40 x 40 tent for 74 guests. Since we were unwilling to move our reception to a new location, WEC cancelled our contract with 37 days to go before our wedding date. They also refused to mass cancel our room block so my fiancé and I had to contact every guest that booked at the hotel to call and cancel. This breach of contract has utterly ruined our wedding day. It feels like a blatant bait-and-switch, driven by greed; they clearly prioritize making money over honoring commitments to their clients. They will toss aside your wedding contract if a better offer comes along. I strongly advise prospective couples to consider other options before trusting the World Equestrian Center with such an important occasion.

The reviews tell you everything you need to know about this one. As far as Hilton Garden Inns go, I…read moream super disappointed with this downtown Ocala location and it's probably one of the worst I've stayed at. First off, even finding it is a little odd- the "entrance" is in the back of the building and not at all obvious like most hotel entrances are. There's also hardly any on site parking. It's a small lot that cost like $20 and isn't even guaranteed you get a spot. Otherwise, you have to park in the parking garage that's kiddie-corner to the hotel and walk all the way over. It's inconvenient, for sure. The hotel itself is pretty clean and what you should expect from a Hilton. Except it's super loud since you're downtown and near a lot of bars and other things. I'd recommend trying to get a room on the 4th or 5th floor, as my 5th floor room seemed to be a little more away from all the raucous. It's known to be so loud there that they leave ear plugs in each room instead of trying to actually do something to solve the issue. Yikes. They're also weird about late checkout and other options- you can move checkout like an hour later but anything past that they charge you. And there's no breakfast. I swear they literally try to charge you for anything they can- parking, checkout, breakfast etc. I just really was not impressed with the whole experience here and only stayed because it's the main hotel in downtown Ocala right now. The one upside I could see is that since it is in downtown it's in walking proximity to a lot of restaurants and some shopping, but that's about it.

Nice hotel, a little weird that the lobby isn't on the entrance floor…read more You must take the elevator up one floor to check in. We were not thrilled with parking across the street in a structure either. It isn't pleasant to drag your luggage back to the hotel after checking in. Especially after paying to park. The room and hotel were nice otherwise. Very clean. Centrally located outside the town square, it was fantastic to be here in Xmas to see the lights and decorations! An added bonus is that we could walk to dinner from the hotel and not move the car. The staff was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Would stay here again, but I really do nit like the parking situation.
