Very persnickety about how you must make an appointment with them. OK, not a huge deal. Finally cleared a date they had open and they sent me an invoice that didn't reflect the length OR time I had requested. Obviously the system they're so stuck on isn't as great as actual communication... so I contacted Mario again (who was never what I'd call either polite or rude, just kind of bored and indifferent) and they finally sent an invoice with the time window and length of party I had requested. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Our experience with Super Mario's Game Machine was awesome! Our son is a video game fanatic and this game truck did not disappoint. The communication was great. All of my questions were answered quickly and the guys arrived on time - even 15 mins early to setup. We had options between ps4, Xbox, and wi. The game options were endless. They even asked ahead of time for my sons top games and had them available when we walked in. They were very attentive and helped us out several times when we couldn't figure out how to play a game. Even though it was super hot outside, they kept it cool with the A/C and several fans inside. Our sons 10th birthday was so special and memorable because of Super Mario Game Machine and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very reasonably priced, reliable, and FUN! Great service, team, and mobile gaming trailer! We had my son's 9th birthday with friends (boys and girls) ranging from 4-10 in ages. The games are all age appropriate and Mario and his team made sure all the kids are set up and comfortable. The truck/trailer is AC and very spacious and comfortable. It was great knowing there was adult supervision the entire time the kids where gaming. Besides showing up 15 minutes early to get set up and meet us to make sure all our questions were answered, you can't beat their personal attention and friendliness! read more

We rented Super Mario's Game Machine gaming truck for my son's 10th birthday. From the beginning, Mario's communication was great, confirming the booking, explaining the process and the deposit needed. The day of the party he was running a few minutes late and he texted to let us know. All the kids at the party absolutely loved the the truck. They did not step foot out of it until our 2 hours was up. Mario and his employee were super attentive the whole time to the kids, getting them set up on whatever game they wanted to play and helping out where needed. My son said it was the best birthday party he's had yet, and my younger son has already asked if we can rent it for his birthday. It was also very convenient that they offered a bounce house for an additional charge for younger kids which worked out perfectly for my youngest child and her friends. Mario's game machines truck experience was overall excellent. Even though we were outside of the Orlando area Mario and his team worked with us to fit in a party to meet our needs. We couldn't ask for a better birthday party for our son. All he asked for was to play video games with his friends. We were at a loss on what to do until my wife found this. We told our son and he was so excited. He told everyone about it for weeks leading up to it and Super Mario's Game Machine did not disappoint! I was surprised by the number of games and gaming machines he had available. They had enough games/controllers, that even the adults played most of the evening.
