The primary issue is that two of the three games didn't work. The inflatable skeeball machine came with a torn power cord for the blower. The inside wires were clearly exposed, and as a result, it kept deflating. With a lot of duct tape, we were able to get it to function for the three hours. The other, which operated on just a simple 9v battery, died after one use, and of course, we didn't have another 9v battery. Fortunately, a neighbor did, so we were able to get it fixed within an hour. (The third game did not have any electronic parts.) They were also very odd with the contract. You pay a deposit, then - even though they have your credit card - you have to "authorize payment" in full two day before. Totally fine. Except that I did authorize payment both by email and text, well in advance of the deadline - and they STILL cancelled my order and attempted to charge me a "reinstatement fee," which I had to call to fight with them to get it removed. Failed to respond to emails asking for additional rental of tables. We also had to pay a "late pickup" fee because our event started at 6, and they refused to pick up any later than 9pm, despite paying the late pick up fee and repeated requests over the weeks leading up to the event, including offers to pay more for a later pick up. Literally, kids are playing at 9:03, and they disconnected the power. Overall, they just weren't nice, and the equipment was pretty sad and worn down. Definitely will stick with the tried and true companies, who seem to appreciate their customers and to understand that renting party stuff should be JOYFUL and FUN, not mean and difficult.

She gave honest input and useful information to help us make decisions. At the reception we heard nothing but positive things about the food/service from our guests and ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS of the entire wedding day for me was the way they served me and my husband at the wedding. We had our own personal server who made sure our every need was taken care of. I truly Felt like a princess. They were so accommodating and helped make the wedding day a stress-free breeze! They were a preferred vendor at my venue and my colleague highly recommended their services. Courtney was very prompt and professional in their communications leading up to the event and a joy to work with. Their staff showed up on time and began setting up the bar area along with the batched cocktails and mocktails they would be serving at the event. We had a lavender fields vodka cocktail and tornado twist mocktail. Their bar services include napkins, straws, bar set up, coolers, wine openers and insurance, as well as 2 bartenders for up to 5 hours. I also hired 10 of their catering staff members to assist with bussing cocktail tables throughout the event, emptying trash cans, a helping to keep our event tidy. We appreciated the attention to detail and anytime I had a request for an area that needed servicing, they took care of it right away. Their team was a huge help in assisting us with rounding up the trash and cleaning up the space after the event ended. I would definitely hire Premier Event Services for more events in the future!

We interviewed several wedding planners and Debbie was the only one who was on top of staying in close contact with us, creating and sustaining a tastefully themed vision and maintaining and executing with professionalism from day 1. We worked closely with her for 10 months. She assisted with vendor meetings and maintaining vendor relations to facilitate a successful event. Our wedding day went exactly according to schedule, on time and was managed properly with a wide array of vendors. There was not one mishap - or if there was, it was never something we needed to handle - because Debbie handled EVERYTHING (like Olivia Pope)! We stumbled across her card in a drawer (we must have gotten it at a convention a few years prior) and immediately looked up her website and it felt like fate. The wonderful combination of glamor and nerdiness was *perfect* for us and our wedding, and Debbie seemed to be the exact kind of 'geek' we could get along with. The first few meetings with her she was extremely personable and fun and we thought we were in good hands. Then she disappeared for a month and didn't reply to our emails. Since we were so far out from our wedding, we didn't stress. It was the holidays, and 2021 was the nightmare pandemic year, so if she didn't reply to an email in December, we weren't too worried. She eventually got in contact with us again in January and reassured us that she hadn't ghosted, but had simply gotten sick with covid. Debbie then told us it was time to get to work on wedding planning, and set up bimonthly check-ins for us, starting with a few vendor recommendations. She told us we needed to pick a photographer and a DJ, and gave us recommendations to choose from which we would do at the next check-in. Then she post-poned the check-in, apologized and rescheduled. Then she canceled the rescheduled check-in with a note that she had to cancel, no reason provided, no offer to reschedule. Then she didn't show to the following four check-ins (over almost two months), no notes, no apologies, no notice, and no response to any of our emails. We finally told emailed her that if she wasn't going to bother to show up to any of the meetings *she* scheduled, or even reply to our emails at *all*, we would have to find another wedding planner. She didn't respond to that email, but she *did* immediately remove us from her aisle planner account she had set up, proving she was at least reading them. I'm so infuriated but also honestly just... shocked she did this. I didn't expect this from her at all, given how wonderful her other reviews were and how friendly she seemed in the few meetings she did bother showing up to. Now my fiance and I have lost out on a good chunk of our wedding budget and are scrambling for a replacement planner and new recommendations (we don't feel comfortable using the ones she recommended to us, even if we never actually got to contact them). All in all, I would *not* recommend Fandom Affairs or Debbie to anyone looking to plan a wedding with any kind of communication with your wedding planner at all. I know we're still fairly far away from the wedding date, but hell, we would have even accepted a carrier pigeon. Perhaps a message in a bottle? A voice on the wind? Literally anything at all would have been better than absolutely nothing.

Called the day of the event and I was told, the waterslide will arrive between 9 and 9:30am. 11am still no show. Try calling, left message and I never got a call back. Bottomline they never showed up. This is not the way to conduct business or try to ruin a kids birthday. If you want your kid and his friend to have good memories on his or her birthday, avoid this company. You don't do this to a kids.
