Tried Activate Orlando and it was a lot of fun. It's basically like a bunch of interactive game rooms where you're running around trying to beat different challenges. Good mix of games, didn't feel repetitive Some are quick and easy, others took us a few tries You'll definitely be moving the whole time The wristband tracking your score is more fun for the competitive games. Fun spot if you want to do something different with a group instead of just grabbing food or drinks.
Visited Activate at Live Pointe Orlando, located on the first level and it was a workout mixed with a fun filled experience. When you arrive, you'll check in with the friendly and informative team members up front. They'll get you set up with wrist bands, a locker if needed, have you sign a waiver (if not completed online) and create your account to get you started. If it's your first time, a team member will walk you through the process. Then I recommend you do a light stretch because you are in for a very intense (depending on your stamina and competitiveness) 60-90 minutes. Each room is designed to keep you moving, physically and mentally with several game options per room. Up to 5 players per room. One of the highlights is the point system, players earn points for completing challenges and leveling up. There is also a leader board to track your progress against your group or other players. The points you accumulate can be redeemed for various rewards. You can let them stack up or not, your choice. This place is great for families, friends, team building and dare I say date night..... Also, don't forget to set up your parking through the App before exiting the parking garage to avoid delays.
This was SO FUN!! we had a ball. Played so many different games and I loved that there were so many options. The floor is lava, basketball, laser, word scramble. We played one game twice and it's def team oriented, I wouldn't come alone. It's a workout so I suggest wearing sneakers. Scanning the wristbands is another great feature, and so is the photo booth. They do have free lockers you can use that lock with your wristband. There is a parking garage you can pay for very nearby. Def recommend visiting. Would love to try again in MD.
I've been here twice and omg I'm ready to go back again and again and again! Both times were so much fun! Make sure you come prepared to run, sweat and team building ! ( def a great first date to see if you guys can work through problems together!! ) def bring comfortable shoes and water and maybe a rag or change of clothes. Everything is super smooth, after you check in it's nothing but fun. No you can not do every game in every room in 1 visit. ( trick to getting you to come back ) I do like how you create an acct and trick your progress. Definitely better in a group setting. My only dislike is the time slots. Once you get rolling and in the mist of if the fun it's time to go!
Best for Groups! (...of 5) What I went with a group of 5, luckily! Otherwise it would've been 2 groups.. oddly.. The rooms and the games are all for 5 and under groups. It was very fun! There were a lot of rooms, and each room was a different game. The games also has multiple variations - either play as a group or play against each other. As a group of 5 we did most games as a group as when we did the compete, it was quite a lot of coordinations (maybe we are new...) Environment Located in Pointe Orlando, very easy to find parking and a lot of do before or after. There are lockers inside that you have to keep everything in while you play Niceness of the staff Very friendly staff. For first time users, the is very important Dollar They are by the hour and adding another half. It was around $30. Yes I would return here
A lot of fun!! This place has some really fun rooms and games to play ranging from simple throwing basketballs to dodging around a wall of lasers like a spy. There is also a score board for those that want to visit more regularly. The rooms are limited to a specific group size and the halls have been crowded at times when I've been there, but I haven't had to wait more than one group for any room and they do limit the people during any given time. Some rooms and games are more physically demanding than others too so being physically fit can be a benefit. If you can get here during a slower time you'll have the best experience. The staff will give you a tour and are around to help when you need something. I'll definitely be coming back here again because it was soo much fun.
Activate Games is by far the best activity I've discovered in the past year. The variety of the gaming rooms and the games without them, and the format of quick 1-3 minute games, is absolutely perfect. I love the mix of high-cardio and calm strategy games. It is absolutely perfect for an outing with my wife or friends. I've even gone with my coworkers, the only time I see them outside of work. It is an absolute must-do as often as I can. My only two critiques: 1) they don't allow solo reservations. You need to have at least two people in order to play. If they allowed me to play when I can't find a partner to play with, I'd probably play 3x as often 2) at Pointe Orlando they don't validate parking. That extra $8-13 to park my car here for an hour or two *really* hurts, and more than one friend has told me that additional fee is what's stopping them from coming more often. So may businesses at Pointe validate, it's a little crazy that Activate doesn't.
What an amazing place! I'm pretty sure it's a game disguised as a workout. Man was I exhausted after doing 1 hour here. However, it was so fun and with the different kinds of rooms you can thankfully switch it up if you're a little out of breath. From having to step on different light up tiles to hiding from the laser maze. You ended up doing a full body workout by the end of it. We did have a slight problem with one of the rooms. However, we just let the people at the front know and they were able to close the room down and get it working again while we were still there. They told us that they do a special on Wednesdays where you get an additional 15 minutes added on. However, my husband went last Wednesday with a group and they did not get the additional 15 minutes. This might be something you need to ask about. I'm not entirely sure. $30 for 60 minutes is a great price for this.
The guy working at 12:50pm on 1/3 really needs an attitude check, it was such a damper to our experience. We checked before coming and there were plenty of spots in reservation timeslots so we didn't think we would need a reservation. When we approached the desk, the worker was extremely rude and condescending, we had come once before on a group reservation and he asked "well have you been here before" and we said "yeah we have" and he said "well how did you make the reservation then" and we told him that it was a friend it wasn't us so we didn't know. We all work in the service industry and are very patient and all agreed that his attitude was so foul. I asked about paying to extend, and in a rude attitude he told us that we need to complete our session and come back to see if he has slots available to extend. So he booked the time slot for us and we waited 20 minutes. When we came back, he was playing or texting on his phone behind the counter and none of us wanted to be served by him, so we waited for the woman next to him to be available to get our wrist bands. Firstly, that is so backwards. Why would the people who are there first not get first pick of an extension of time rather than someone else who comes? We were a group of 4 and the attitude left such a sour taste in our mouthed that we didn't extend, which was a loss of business for you. It was busy but not over crowded while we played, but having a room down for "coming soon" left people waiting at other rooms more rather than occupied. I enjoyed my first visit and it was a mixed bag this time... we'll be back eventually but I can't say I'll rush to spend my money here any time soon based on this experience alone.
Overall fun experience. Staff is not particularly friendly but we still had a good time. It was super crowded due to the holidays but still moved around the rooms quickly. Our favorite room was definitely hoops and the grid!
Can't wait to go back! Good prices & a lot of fun. It wasn't too much of a wait at the different game rooms. We had plenty of time with booking a hour. Check-in was pretty organized. They have lockers for your belongings. The photo booth room was a nice addition.
I had the time of my life at activate! I really believe that this is fun for all ages. There are games for everyone. My one area for improvement was that some of the rooms were out of order which was a little disappointing and made the lines longer for other rooms. But I will definitely be back!
This is such a fun place to get you and your group moving! The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining how everything works. Despite it being pretty busy with several other groups, the wait for each room wasn't too bad since each room's activity only lasts a couple minutes. This would be fun for kids and adults alike. I'll definitely be back!

I was so impressed with this place it was so much fun! After playing the games and knowing the rules inside, you're best to come here with a max 5 people if you want to be able to do everything together. Any more people than that and you're going to be split up - that's a good tid bit to be aware of. Also, double check when this place is the least busy so you can do things consistently and not have a line if you want to maximize your time playing the games because the one thing that kind of stinks is that if you tap into an experience, you go into the room when it's your time to start playing, but if other people tap in after you to wait in line you're basically bumped out so they don't have to keep waiting. It's a weird system but it works out because you just go on to the next game and you can just circle back and do it again! Nevertheless, coming when it's super busy would probably get frustrating, I imagine! I came here with a group and we had ages from early 30's to early 50's. With that being said, I do recommend that you be able to get around efficiently enough like if you were to jump rope, do a long game of hopscotch, and also play dodgeball - you'd be okay. I say this because you definitely work up a sweat and it gets your heart rate going! You're going to want to wear comfy clothes, but PSA for the ladies I would personally recommend wearing leggings / pants over shorts because there is one game where you're crawling under lasers and.. enough said, that's a big takeaway for my next time. There are lockers, so no worries there (and no you don't have to pay for them, yay!) Don't stress about bringing your phone for selfies either, there is a whole spot for photos and you can grab those later so not a huge deal if you want to leave it in the locker and just immerse yourself. Now if you want a fun, competitive date night out this is your spot! For up to two hours of fun and crazy challenges this is perfect to get the human zoomies out of your most energetic friends! They have several rooms with over 450 challenges total and I can't wait to go back again! It's pretty much Dave and Busters for more active adults haha! read more

An Absolute Blast - Perfect for Team Bonding or Just a Fun Day Out! I went with my management team to Activate Orlando for a team bonding activity, and let me just say.... we had SO much fun! We were a group of six, and although the only slight downside was that only five people are allowed per game room (which meant we had to split into two groups of three), it didn't take away from the experience at all. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, the space was super clean, and everything was well-organized. Each room is like its own world, with multiple games per room and varying levels of difficulty. As you progress, the games get harder, which kept us super engaged the entire time. You're running, crawling, jumping, strategizing--this place is no joke when it comes to getting active (and sweaty ), so definitely wear comfy clothes and be ready to MOVE! We paid $42 per person for 90 minutes, and what I loved most is that you're only charged for the time you're actively playing. You get a wristband linked to your account, and each time you scan in, it tracks your actual gameplay. So if a game only lasts 2 minutes, you're only using 2 minutes of your total time. Super fair and flexible! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this experience whether you're going with coworkers, friends, or family. It was worth every penny, and we're already talking about going back again soon. If you're looking for something unique, energizing, and just plain fun, Activate Orlando is it. read more

5 Stars! First time at Activate and it did not disappoint! I chose the 90-minute session and was able to play a ton of different games -- each one unique, challenging, and super fun. The environment is high-energy and perfect for anyone who's competitive and loves a good challenge. Huge shoutout to Lexi and Jasmine for being so friendly and helpful throughout the experience. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, active outing! read more

Loved it! This is definitely a place for an active adult or family. You will be moving from start to finish. Work out clothes or loose fitting is recommended with comfortable shoes you can run in. The staff was great and it wasn't busy when we went. They have lockers available for personal belongings. I do recommend bring a bottle of water to store in the locker to drink as needed or they have water fountains available, but keep in mind you cannot bring food in here and no drinks available for purchase. Overall we lived this place and the games were so much fun. Tip for Activate: the basketball wall is made out of wood. I would suggest a bumper as I am kind of short and hit my elbow on there cutting it open. Tips for guest: Activate it on the lower level. If you start at Maggiano's go to the left and go straight across from Dicks last resort and It's below funny bone. read more

Jump, dodge, problem-solve and laugh, as you and your friends This experience truly brought our team--aka the family--closer together. Our squad of 11; the 5 rookies (kids under 11) all the way to seasoned veterans (aka the grandparents), had an absolute blast. It was the perfect way for the kids to burn off some energy while still keeping the grown-ups in the game. The challenges were accessible for our 8-year-old but competitive enough to keep the adults on their toes. The MVP? Hands down - Lazer! It was a full-on highlight reel moment--everyone wanted a rematch. We suggest going for 90 minutes! As we still weren't ready to hit the showers after 60 min. We can't wait to return. read more

This place is AWESOME!!! This place is like an adult/kid friendly human arcade! Went with. A group of 12 people all ranging from 24-33 and every single person had a blast. If this place gets more hype they are going to need another BIGGER location. The games are fun and the hour seems to blow by!! The customer service was also really great and the staff very helpful and accommodating. All in all we all had a blast here! Also the price seemed very fair tbh. I'll definitely be back! read more
