The show itself was spectacular! Stunts, sound and water effects, and a lot of crowd interactive type of competitions. I loved that the crowd was divided into different teams. Our server was so nice and attentive to our needs. We chose not to upgrade our meals (it was like $20/extra per person if we wanted steak instead of chicken), but we were impressed with the 3 course meal! It started with a Caesar salad, followed with chicken accompanied by veg and mashed potatoes, and finishing with a brownie. The chicken straight up fell off of the bone. I was also served like half of a whole chicken (I had to take some home because I was so full). It was cooked way better than I thought it would be. You can purchase appetizers after you get you salad for an extra cost. The drinks are good but can be expensive. If you're looking for a less expensive alcohol option, definitely ask about using their house liquor. I had to ask them 3 times for them to actually tell me it was like a $9 difference between getting it with their house vs premium liquor. I will say that anything you get from the bar or as an appetizer that cost extra already includes 15% gratuity. Nobody will tell you it does, but it will be written on the appetizer menu in a very light colored font. What I think is a little BS is that although gratuity is included for those, it isn't included for the server who is serving you the whole night. But none of this negatively affected my experience, I just want to make you all aware of this! I would come back for sure with some family who hasn't seen the show.

If you've been to Medieval Times, the concept is somewhat similar, but I felt this show had more of a storyline and much more audience interaction, which made the experience even more engaging. The show itself was very entertaining, and the set design was absolutely amazing. The entire atmosphere really makes you feel like you've stepped into a pirate world. The lobby area, designed like a pirate marketplace, was especially cool. There's plenty of pirate-themed merchandise to check out, and you can grab a nice drink from the bar before the show. The food was also surprisingly good and definitely added to the overall experience. Service was good for the most part, although there were a few moments when it was difficult to get our server's attention. We went on a Saturday and were actually surprised that the place wasn't fuller, but that made for a more relaxed experience. Overall, this was a fun family night out, and both of my sons really enjoyed it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different and entertaining to do in Orlando! ‍

There is an ice cream shop and three different pub areas where visitors can enjoy beverages and pub food. There are activity areas that include a playground for younger children and another area with table tennis, foosball, and cornhole. Then there's the miniature golf area. Unlike "traditional" miniature golf courses filled with obstacles like windmills, the holes here are miniatures of actual golf courses. They have fairways, sand traps, and roughs. The fairways are not level; you have to plan for breaks. The course is automated. Each hole has an electric sign showing statistics for the hole such as its par, distance, and difficulty. It also displays the number of aces and the average number of strokes for the hole that day. There's an app that players can use to keep score that feeds the displays. There are two separate 18-hole courses. Players can order drinks while playing and have them delivered while playing. There are misting fans that provide a cool, refreshing breeze on hot summer days. Following play, I went into the air-conditioned pub. They have a decent selection of drinks and pub food. Their beer selection includes several draft, craft beers. I had a glass of mango wheat beer and a hummus platter. Both hit the spot on a hot summer day. Their printed menu does not have prices. However, there are little plaques that have a QR code to view the menu with prices. Play is not inexpensive. The fee to play is $25, but customers can play all day. There are packages that allow return visits over a period of time that are more economical. I visited late weekday mornings and was able to play uninhibited by others. I enjoyed my visit and will likely sign up for one of their packages that allows repeat visits.

While I partook in a private dinner party with some coworkers, it was still an elevated experience from anything we would've found at a restaurant. With different venues for each meal, our setting was the backyard of the fab Orlando CM Andi P. Dana from The Dinner Party Project enhanced the space with such beautiful place settings and decorations. It looked like it was ripped from a magazine. The food... Where do I begin? Local chef Julian Degarden was in the kitchen and prepared for us an amazing meal. While sipping on a Florida Mule featuring spirits from St. Augustine Distillery, Dana passed around a chicken liver mousse crostini with honey and maldon salt. I'm not a big pate person but this combination was perfect. I wanted to eat more than one but glad I saved room for the main meal. We were served a beautiful beet salad and my favorite dish of maybe all my eats in Orlando that week, the bucatini bolognese. Honestly, this is a pasta I still dream about. It was cooked perfectly al dente and the rich beef ragu had me wiping the plate clean. It didn't end there. Desserts from Buttermilk Bakery were the icing on the cake (literally). My favorite was the strawberry cake and I'm not even a big fan of strawberries. It was super moist and flavorful, not to mention beautiful! More important than the food (maybe), is the conversation! After all, the joy of The Dinner Party Project is connecting with new folks. Dana guided our conversation with questions like, "If you could sign anything into law, what would it be?" And a classic, "Who would you most want to have a meal with dead or living?"
