We decided on meeting on a Saturday afternoon to hopefully avoid crowds. I believe someone from our group reserved 2 lanes for us and had to place a deposit. I was last to arrive and the kids at the desk were not present and then when they finally showed up, they were short & rude. Any time I glanced over while I was playing, no one was at the desk. It was busy while we were there but it became busier as the afternoon turned to evening. While we were playing, we experienced issues with the lane several times. Sometimes help arrived quickly, where other times we waited for a good 20 minutes. After we finished bowling, some of us stayed to go to the bar and play pool. The drinks were very expensive and you had to pay to play pool, which was super overpriced. All in all, I would like to explore other bowling alleys in Ocala but I think most places replicate a Chucky Cheese kinda establishment.

We went in a Monday afternoon and were greeted by a smiling and patient employee who explained the process to us. Things have changed in 30+ years, but it's streamlined and efficient. There are no tokens, we bought a card that allowed our grandson to play unlimited games for an hour. You just tap the card to the machine and play away! The prize tickets are loaded onto the card as they are earned. That beats shoving rows and rows of tickets in our pockets and saves a tree or two! Also, you can have an employee put a pause on the card's time limit while taking a break, eating, or using the very clean restroom! We bought a pizza combo of 1 large 1-topping pizza, an order of cheesy bread, two drinks, and the 1-hour card for the games for $73. Using the trampoline is an additional $10, but you get some really nice non-skid socks. We thought it might have been a little pricey, but the fun our grandson had was well worth it. Plus, he spent his accumulated point on a cool whistle! This location was clean, everything was in working order, and the manager was very hands on. He was out amongst us cleaning up, making sure everything was going smoothly, and smiling the whole time. We will definitely be back!

Im not sure why he has 1 star on yelp, i've had nothing but good experiences here. occasionally theres a card or 2 above market, but if you buy it at that it's your fault for not checking. I've done it before here and didn't realize until after i got home, thats not their fault. they have hundreds of cards not every price will be perfect. also, to the other review, you knowingly ripped the guys wife off in his OWN store, of course he's going to tell you to not come back. anyways, im on my way here and im looking forward to another visit! PRODUCTS: So impressed by the vast amount of actual comics and games they had to purchase! Many "comic" stores nowadays have more Funko pops than comic books but this one has a great selection. Not only that but they have an impressive collection of available collectible card games including Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, One Piece, and all the usual games. So impressed they had the Warlord CCG. SERVICE: Again, impressive. The staff was really helpful and overall, it was pretty easy to find things. Decently organized which I have found to be lacking in a lot of different comic stores I've gone to. COST: Very competitively priced. Not into price gouging. Obviously the system they're so stuck on isn't as great as actual communication... so I contacted Mario again (who was never what I'd call either polite or rude, just kind of bored and indifferent) and they finally sent an invoice with the time window and length of party I had requested. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Obviously a class act. You want this guy around your kids? Not me. Reduced review to one star.
