Had never been bowling at this location so when we decided to host my daughters 6th Birthday here it was done just based off online information. I was in contact with a person down south that does the party scheduling for this location. Gabby was so kind and patient with all of my questions over the phone. She was very helpful in helping pick the package that was best for me. I did not know what to expect when we arrived to check in for the party and boy was I blown away. The lanes that were reserved for our party were nicely decorated and set up ready for the food. The manager Ashley on site was so kind and attentive along with our waitress Kayden. They checked in on us frequently to see if we needed anything. They served plenty of food and drinks and all were replenished as needed. They took care of everything from set up to clean up. We literally just showed up and enjoyed our time bowling. Would highly recommend this place if you are interested in hosting a stress free party where adults and children are guaranteed to have fun. I planned my daughters 12th birthday here at the last minute, with an event planner, Kelly, she was extremely helpful and assured me that it would seem like this party had been planned weeks in advance. She was not lying. We got there and there was a designated eating area with food, and decorations, drinks, a (delicious) cookie cake. The staff at Bowlero were so engaged and attentive to us. I often come here every month when I visit town and want to spend time with my dad since he loves to bowl. We usually don't have any issues and I have never written a bad review, but I don't appreciate the service my family & I received. First arriving, I had some tea that I was pretty much done with and was told that outside drinks weren't allowed. Okay, fine. I take it back to the car. My husband gets a lane and as we were walking I see other parties with Starbucks cups out in the open no problem. While irritated I brush it off. We're now bowling and they seat a family of 6 right next to our family of 4. There's 10 of us sharing, which is fine IF it was packed. There was only 5 parties total in the whole building. So...you're telling me on a Sunday afternoon with only 5 parties you decided to put 2 out of the 5 parties together out of damn near 40 lanes!?!? Also, no one ever came by to check on us or ask if we wanted to order anything or even offer us any water. On TOP of that they tried to over charge us with 4 pairs of shoes when we only rented 2. Then had the audacity to question my husband when he brought up the discrepancy. My brother and dad had their own balls and shoes. Like hello! Some people do have their own gear you know. TL:DR - Don't waste your time or money. Horrible service. Go elsewhere! read more

Our family reserved our time on the website to ensure there was not a wait when we arrived. Upon arriving we were checked in pretty quickly, given our shoes, and assigned to a lane. Andrew was the server during our time there, he was attentive and brought what we ordered quickly as well as making sure we got refills on the soda. A pitcher of water and water cups were available too. We had a really good time bowling! The kids ranging from 3-11 had a good time learning. There were plenty of different sized balls and also had the ramp to use for the 3 year old. We bowled from 4pm-6pm, which was a pretty busy time but we still had enough space. I do think it was a little pricier than we originally planned for but if it wasn't a last minute decision, we could have planned it on a day where they had promotional pricing or discounted nights. I would recommend for larger families to look into days that may save you money. Overall, we all had an experience to remember and we will be glad to come back. read more

The wait was very long, the staff were not friendly, the drinks were watered down, overpriced, and when we were given out lane it was dirty. Then half way into our game they placed another party in our section although there were many other open lanes. They were not considerate of distance given they had the space. read more

Got placed in lane 24 and had a fun time with some friends. We bowled all night until we got so tired and bored that we had to refund the rest of our games. Staff attitude was below average. I understand that there may be customers who dont treat you well in customer service but it doesnt give the employees the right to take it out on other customers. I tried spreading some good vibes on the staff but failed to do so. Everyone was serious and seemed unhappy. Even though the staff was a bit down, the service was still good. The food was also amazing. Props to the bartenders for making amazing drinks! And props to the staff for providing good service even though they were in a bad mood! Had my son's first Birthday party here recently and it could not have turned out better! Just an overall amazing experience and thanks to their event coordinator everything was set up and went smoothly. Everybody at Bowlero was so kind and accommodating and just went above and beyond for us. Our girl Hayley was top notch and provided us with the best service. She was so sweet, just on it the whole time and really made our day with how wonderful she was and we will be back because of her! Lastly if you book your party here they have great packages for bowling, shoe rentals, food and drinks and it's honestly the way to go. So easy and they do everything for you. Lastly, they set up the cutest table with great little decorations, a welcome sign, lights, the whole bit. All in all it was just a perfect day and I could not have asked for more. Worst customer service I've experienced at the bar in my life. I am Asian-American and I was waiting for 20 min to get service but was dumbfounded when the female bartender (who is white) decided to help other customers before helping me. Keep in mind that she knew I was waiting to be helped but she decided to attend customers who were WHITE. She didn't even bother to check their ID's but when it came to my friends and I she did every test to see if our ID's were real. I hope I never get to see her again coming here. read more

Reserve a lane for your group online like a day before and it will be a lot faster. Was quite busy when I went, had to wait 15 minutes for a lane to open up but just went to the bar while we waited. We planned to come with a group of 15 people so we came earlier in the day to reserve the lanes. Apparently they don't do that and we found out we needed to reserve lanes 3 days in advance. This would have been fine if this information was on the website and we weren't rudely told there was no way to reserve the lanes. Fortunately, when we got there, there weren't too many people and we got in to our lanes fairly quick. The remodel is nice, but honestly, it's the same staff and trashy customer service as before. We had to go up to the counter to order even though they wanted us to order from the cocktail waitress, but she never once came to our lanes except to drop off the food we ordered. Some people in our group were told to take their shoes off when they went to get something to drink or eat, but there was nobody taking orders so they had to go up to the counter. When I went up, our cocktail waitress was standing at the bar talking to a coworker. It's just kind of sad that they charge so much to bowl at this newly remodeled bowling alley, but the staff is lazy and not very friendly. Hopefully these reviews are helpful and they get their act together. It has potential to be a really cool place to hang out. read more

Had fun bowling tonight until we went to order a round of drinks and the bartender thought our IDs were fake. She went to the back to confirm with her manager, who came out to inform us that she could not accept our IDs and she kept them. So we had to call the non-emergency number and wait 30 minutes to have an officer come out to verify our IDs and get them back. Didn't even get an apology from the manager. 1 star, would not recommend. Terrible. To start off it's very pricy coming in at about $15 for ONE game. Second, we ordered a monster cookie melt and it took 45 MINUTES!! And we still didn't get it and had to get a refund. Waitress was very rude and unhelpful. Overall very bad experience and would not recommend. If in the area, would highly recommend going to much more superior Fresno State College instead. I think most of the complaints here are from the pro/semi-pro players. As a casual, once a year or so player, I don't see what the big deal is. Is it dark? You're not in any danger of accidently bumping into anyone, if that's what you're thinking. If you are brand new to bowling, be sure to read the next paragraph too. If you are otherwise noncompetative but still enjoy bowling, you can skip it. The prices are excellent Sunday's after 6 pm. The video games, however, are not worth it. I think air hockey worked to be $3 a game. Plus you have to purchase a card to play, which cost $1. Yes, you can reuse it. But in all likelihood, the $1 I have left on the card is most likely gone forever. I can't comment on the food or drinks because I snuck my own in lol If you are bowling with adults and kids, give the kids their own lane adjacent to yours. I recommend you ask for the side rails to be picked up for the kids too. It's an either, or option. Meaning they're either always up, or always down. The kids will still gutter with it up, but they'll also be more likely to hit a few pins. Try to keep the number of players to under 6 per lane. I watched one group of 9(mostly kids 6-14yo) take almost 3 hours to play one round. Meanwhile, the group of 6 one lane over played 2 games in the same time. From start to finish, the experience in setting up our birthday event of 30 people was excellent. The sales rep for Bowlero was awesome and she helped to go over details with the event, pricing and details. She communicated well and answered back promptly to any changes all the through until the day of the event. I'd also like to recognize the general manager, Ashley and our server Andrew. Ashley kept checking on us throughout the event. You can tell that Ashley is an amazing leader, as she seemed to be out and readily available for her team or other customers in the front. She kept checking on us throughout the event and she was just an overall sweet person. Our server, Andrew, was also wonderful. He was very attentive and communicated well on the times he would get the food out. Additionally, all the food was so good. We had the basics - hot dog, fries, pizza, chicken tenders. Many of my guests raved about how good all the food was. One of them told me, to try the chicken tenders and let me tell you, those chicken tenders were crunchy and tender inside...didn't taste stale like other places. The pizza was my favorite. Everyone tore up the pizza cookies that were included in the package. Overall, our experience was beyond excellent and I would definitely come here again for any big events. I came in for a 2.22 special which began at 8:00. I arrived at 7:00 anticipating the rush. Upon my arrival it was busy, but there was no line, I immediately approached the gentlemen at the counter. Here is the actual exchange that took place. "Hi I have some friends coming and I was hoping I could pre-pay for our..." "NOPE!" "Ok so come back up to the line around 8:00?" "Well I don't start selling until 8:30" (for a special that begins at 8:00) My wife and I have a drink at the bar and come out at 8:05 to a line about 30 people deep. It is currently 8:58 and we have only seen two people get lanes. This place is a wreck. The service was garbage. And I haven't even bowled yet. So I am in a league and I bowl here on Sunday nights. My parents, my sister and Grandmother were here for Christmas and we decided to bowl with one of my teammates on a Saturday afternoon so he could meet my family. My wife and I used our practice games and my mother paid for their games... the "manager", a female who is always there and has seen me MULTIPLE TIMES prior to league play was working the register. I asked this woman if she could leave the video screens off on our lanes because the last time my parents were up less than a month prior for Thanksgiving, we went to bowl here, the screens were on and were all showing the same laser design that accompanied the music, and my father came home with a serious headache and became ill due to screen situation that night. I explained this fact to the manager and she said that she had to turn the screens on because league play was not going on. I said that doesn't make sense, she said it was the policy of the bowling alley... Well, my teammate showed up, who has been a league bowler here for many years. I said hi, introduced him to my family and went to the restroom. When I came to our lanes our screens were off. I asked my teammate what was up and he said "oh she always turns the screens off for me, they are so distracting and I can't stand them." I didn't mention it to the manager, but THE DOUBLE STANDARD IS DEPLORABLE. It is clearly favoritism and it just was blatantly obvious to me That the woman could care less about my father's condition which upsets me still as I'm writing this. I would look to spend your time at another bowling alley if you are looking to have some fun. And I'm more than likely not going to join another league here in the future! read more

Good place to bowl, good food and drinks. Tuesday is $2.22 bowling, beers, and Long Island iced teas after 8pm which is such a deal. The only problem I have with this place is two of the front desk ladies named jazzy and Destiny . They're so rude every time I come in and don't listen to my requests. They seem like they hate being here and don't enjoy dealing with people. Every time I have a request they treat me like trash. Honestly the bowling alley will be better with them gone. The bartenders are amazing especially Hayley. I go for them but if jazzy and destiny keep up with their horrible attitudes I'm going to stop going there. We went to the bowlero in Fresno, not sure why it linked me to Clovis, but anyhow. My review will be appropriate for both. I am giving this place a 2 star because, to us, $200 for a date night (2 people) was outrageous, especially to just bowl. We had 2 pitchers of beer (for the guys) and I had 2 whiskey/diet, the smaller appetizer, and 4 games of bowling. The food was bar food, beer was good and cold and the whiskey diets didn't disappoint, however $10 per person (4 people) for 4 games was bananas. We thought about bringing our kids to bowl here, but for 5 of us, there's no way we will be bringing them, or even coming back. They argued about the prices being fair, and to come back on a special night, needless to say, I'm not bringing my family of 5 back on a night where everyone and their mother will be for a deal. I am a league bowler at this location. The lanes seem a little dry and the approach is a little slick compared to the Fresno location. That being said, all of the lanes in which I have bowled seem consistent unlike the Fresno location where it seems like every lane is different. Plus, these conditions are more conducive to my bowling style. The service is great! Normally, Hayley is our server. She is always very courteous, prompt, and professional. I deducted a star for two reasons: With all of the remodeling that occurred at the facility, they did not feel like they needed to upgrade the men's restroom. This could be remedied as easily as adding a couple partitions for the urinals and adding another sink. Also after the remodel, the decision was made to get rid of Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap which is not a deal breaker but is concerning. read more
