My wife and I finally had a day date opportunity so instead of just sitting at a bar and drinking we decided to sit at a bowling alley and drink... and bowl a few frames as well. It was Sunday at 2pm and this place was packed, so reservations are a must. Luckily for us, we were just two and were able to get a bowling lane after only waiting about 15 to 20 minutes. We waited in the bar area,had a drink and ordered some food. This is a fully loaded bar with a fully loaded menu too. Pizza, burgers, salads, and sandwiches to name a few. We ordered chicken fingers to share, a couple of cocktails, and headed to our lane. You can either keep a tab at the bar or they have servers that come by your bowling lane if you want more drinks or food. Everything was super easy to set up, and I loved their music selection and the TVs on the back wall showing the baseball game. It was nine dollars per person, per game. I wasn't wearing any socks when we arrived, but they do offer socks that you get to keep for a small fee. I definitely come back, especially knowing that they offer leagues, any membership passes, and tons of activities for the kids here. Recently went for my bf's company party and I was a tad bit hesitant considering my last experience here. I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing everyone was, but it was a company party, lol. I booked a birthday party here. It's a small group and they are having fun. The booking has 2 hrs of bowling on one lane. Some coins for the arcades and drinks. We had so much fun here! We went on a night when they had a special. I think it was $10 for unlimited games between certain hours. We stayed till they closed and played maybe 10 games! On this particular night they were short staffed and so the waitress was acting as bartender also. She was making and serving drinks and taking orders and cleaning up. She was doing a lot! I came to Bowlero in Clovis Ca on 8/20/22 as my friend and a group of girls wanted to do something special for a birthday and it was lovely to finally hang out with the girls ! We arrived around 8:30pm or 9pmish and the line was out the door! We chatted with the security guard who wand us down. There was a line but we didn't have to wait long and headed to the bar after check in. Since there was a DD in our party we had drinks upon drinks and checking out the festivities here. The drinks was reasonably priced too. I'm not sure how much the bowling games cost as I didn't have to pay. Also the music was amazing and fun and the atmosphere was poppin. A mix of kids, teens and adults. ALL FUN. It was my second time bowling in my life. Which we had to wear bowling shoes which was fine. Bring socks!!!! Anywho, ample bowling balls to choose from. I prefer the smaller bowling balls as they are a lot lighter. I didn't win but for my second time bowling that's not bad at all! I cannot wait to come back. Staff was so friendly and nice and would check in on us periodically. They make sure everyone has the things they need which is so awesome !!! The bowling is good, with plenty of staff to help. One staff member told me "I don't have a crystal ball, so I wouldn't know." I felt that this was a snarky comment. Kids came with me to bowl at 5 pm and there are videos of half naked women at the end of the lanes. Bowlero should really move these to after 10 pm, as they are inappropriate for young children. Food is not great, but it's a bowling ally so the expectations are low. I might only bring adults next time and eat before I go. read more

Came in on a whim. Left in disbelief. We were quoted around 80$ at the counter for 2 games for 5 people, 10$ per person ,4.99$ per game ,and 5$ for shoes each. Our lane didn't stop after 2 so we played a 3rd game. When it still didn't end after that we went up and asked about our lane thinking maybe they charged us for more games than we asked. They then told us that there's an open tab even though they didn't give us that option and asked us how many games we wanted to play. They then told us our tab was $180 for 3 games!! You could believe we were shocked when we heard that total. Especially since there are no signs whatsoever stating prices or add-ons. When trying to resolve the issue the worker at the desk refused to acknowledge the situation simply stating that "The prices are what they are" even though there is no signage or charts stating prices at all. The manager eventually came around repeating the previous statement. When asked to show us the price list all they had was a sheet of barcodes behind the counter. Asking how I could possibly know the prices when they are not physically listed anywhere I was told "All prices were online." Mind you my group and I had came to this place on a whim, which I expect most people would. We then asked where the person who had originally told us the initial price quotes was he had coincidentally left for the night. I do not suggest visiting this Bowlero because a simple night of fun can result in a massively unexpected amount of debt. read more

Came in on a Monday around 3:15pm. Paid for 2 hours of bowling for 6 guests, but didn't get to bowl for the full amount of time due to a few issues with the equipment on lane #33. Our balls became stuck and were not returning - had to wait about 20 minutes until I could flag down an employee to help us. No one was at the check-in for quite a while because that same employee was working the bar as well. Right after this happened, the pins were not resetting. Thankfully, I got some help from an employee not long after this happened, but the sad part is that it cut into our playing time. We paid for 2 hours but only bowled for about an hour & a half. Bowlero needs to have more staff available and repair/replace the equipment. read more

Tldr: Party or go home. Passionate bowlers beware. Ashley, Juan, and Paul are awesome. Smaller place, less lanes, less availability. Casual experience: For the general public, it is passable. Juan at the Bar is awesome. Drink, eat, and bowl as a stress reliever. It is a smaller establishment, so there are less lanes avaliable. Beware weekends and unlimited nights. Bowler's experience: Horrible house to bowl at. Most machines chew up the bowling balls, constant pin-count error, and broken racks. Half of the time, the lanes are never oiled and is leftover burn from the previous league night. The manager Stephanie is uncooperative with returning league-bowlers(story below). However, the pro-shop is nice and Paul is awesome. By far, the worst bowling location. Story: Stephanie has repeatedly been uncooperative to the league bowlers and does not like to give the pairs back to the league bowlers after the league is completed. I play in a sport shot league and would like to practice on more difficult oil patterns but it is difficult to do when Stephanie is working that night. She especially denied us our sport shot pair, saying that maintenance was working on lanes 1-10, but there is a bowler using the unlimited special on lane 9, and league was still ongoing on lanes 1-4. I had only wanted to play 2 games. Another bad expeirence is when she claimed that she couldn't give us our sport shot pair because they wouldn't have enough workers to serve us food/drinks. Even when we said we didnt want food service, we were still denied. Keep in mind that we only wanted to play our 2 free league games for practice. The few times she's allowed us to do this, she always forgets to put us on league style. The customer service is also noticeably rude and ruins the experience for bowlers who enjoy the sport. On the other hand, Ashley is cooperative and understands bowlers and oil patterns. She is amazing, polite, and a great way to start a bowling session. She deserves more. She is one of the reasons why I still return, and I cross my fingers and hope that she is working when I show up. read more

The manager Stephanie clearly hates her job and makes people's experiences miserable. I've contemplated making this review for weeks because I don't like to "bash" people but week after week after week, she makes it incredibly hard for me to want to continue to bowl here. I'm bowling in a sport shot league, which I don't have any other choice to do so near by. To have Stephanie as the manager on that day makes me dread even wanting to bowl. Being a 33 week league, it is a commitment to a hobby I love to do, but ultimately ends in me not enjoying the night. Every other league I have bowled allows me to continue bowling on the lanes I bowled in league, after league is over. Even other employees at the same establishment allow me to do so without a problem. Stephanie has even said comments such as "oh you guys again " in a demeaning manner when asking to get our lanes in league style, which we always have to go back to the desk to ask her to put the lanes in league style even though we ask when we initially get our lanes. Tonight was my last straw to make this review because we asked to get our lanes again, and she said "no sorry we are going to be working on lanes 1-10 " when she has bowlers still bowling on an unlimited night on one of the lanes she said were going to be worked on. I hope this review reaches someone who can do something about this, not just for myself but for other bowlers who love this hobby just as much as I do. read more

Ball did not return twice. Several times the rack came down when it shouldn't have. The biggest disappointment was they no longer have the summer pass!!! Huge let down as this is the one thing they had going for them. This is the closest lane, so we went here. But, a number of the other lanes are much cheaper & so is the food. Bowlero?
