We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

The cucumber salad didn't really have any flavor. My friends felt the same. One positive was that they let you sample all of the teas beforehand, which is nice. I always get so indecisive about which tea to get at afternoon tea. The negative is that I was not wow'd by any of the teas. The ambiance is very cute and nice. Service was standard and good. In the picture attached, the items are as follows: On the top from left to right, egg sando, curry chicken basket, shrimp cake, mushroom potsticker, and cucumber salad sandwich. On the bottom, black sesame puff, papaya penna cotta, raspberry lychee mousse, and chocolate custard tart.

I searched for the good Chinese restaurant near Cerritos and found Happy Bee Kitchen today…read more Not too far from our home is the first advantage. My hubby and I got there around 1:30, looked busy. The restaurant was not big but decent, clean, located in the big strip mall on Pioneer Blvd. Found plenty of parking lots, many other restaurants, pharmacy, and grocery market 99 ranch. First, the service was great, very attentive, friendly, they packed all the leftovers for us. Second, complementary Jasmin tea and roasted peanuts were served right away. We both loved the tea and peanuts while we were waiting for the dishes. We ordered our faves, sweet n sour shrimps, veggie Fried rice, seafood chow mein, and juicy pork dimsum. The foods were served so fast. I really liked sweet n sour shrimps and fried rice, my hubby loved Jasmin tea, seafood chow mein. The portions are pretty big. We had lots of leftovers for weekends....haha. Last one, juicy pork dimsum, really juicy, the pork was so tender, each dimsum was steamed in a mini aluminum cup in the steamer. Great quality!!! Overall, we loved here. The service and qualities, and, prices all are great. We experienced the real Cantonese cuisines today. Definitely go again and try other foods next time. They had lunch special, chef special but we liked a la carte. One of great places to go and enjoy all the time. Try Jasmin tea w roasted peanuts.

Not worth the price, in my opinion. The only flavor I could taste was soy sauce, which completely…read moreoverpowered everything else. The shrimp smelled and tasted unusually fishy, making the dish hard to enjoy. I wouldn't order it again. The lady kept asking if I was there to pick up a DoorDash order, even after I told her twice that I wasn't. It felt like she didn't believe the order was actually mine, which made the experience uncomfortable.

Super quick to order. So far no issue with my orders (for the past 10 plus times). Spice noodle (Bun Bo Hue) is good in term of the broth (they put stuff in there that makes it tast good and I won't say what could have been added. I am Vietnamese so I know what tastes like what). Disappointed that there is not pork hock and pork blood, which are 40% of main ingredient in Bun Bo Hue, but this is Fontana, they have to cater to white-wash crowd, or should I say "American" crowd. If you eat Bun Bo Hue in Vietnam you must have those two (and many more other ingredients). It's like me saying "Taco Bells" is one of the best Mexican food!!! But I won't hold them responsible as they have to do what they have to do. Will come back again. But "Americans", please, if you are doing to eat authentic ethnic food, stop asking for them to change to your taste. The authentic taste or food change when the population asking them to change it.

I ordered the combination pho and the meatballs had good flavor, but the noodles were way too overcooked. The noodles would break upon trying to pick them up. The broth was also okay but not my favorite. I felt that it tasted heavily of clove and star anise that it was almost sweet or heavy. I also ordered the chili oil wontons and they lacked a bit of flavor. I also wish the chili oil was a bit stronger in taste and spice. I usually use a spoon or two for pho but for this one, I used 4+ and it added no flavor.

It came with an assortment of toppings that added a lot of texture and flavor when mixed all together. The soba sauce was light, but it was packed with umami and super refreshing - perfect for a hot summer day. Overall, everything was delicious and I love the vibe of the restaurant with the BlackPink posters and KPop playing in the background. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive as well.
