Growing up Bowl El Paso used to be top tier of bowling alleys in El Paso. After leaving the Cinemark Gamescape my family and I found ourselves really wanting to have a bowling sesh. We ended up going to Bowl El Paso. The staff wasn't very friendly. We paid for an hr of bowling. I found it strange they didn't give us bowling shoes so we bowled with our regular shoes. I went to the snack bar to find they were taking orders at the bar. The service was slow and it took me over 10 minutes to get a drink. As we bowled we had so many issues with the lane we were in. The pins kept getting stuck and messing up the lineup. We had to have someone help several times. More disappointing they never comped us for the time we had to wait for them to fix it. We lost at least half an hr between the two hrs we paid for. I'm sad to say this bowling alley was nowhere near as good as I remembered it to be. The restrooms had the sinks outside with no soap in the dispensers. It was very disappointing. I probably will not be returning. read more

More than 10 lanes were unavailable. When we finally got our assigned lane, every 10 minutes we had to get assistance to reset the lane. Spent most of the time up at the desk than actual bowling. Went there Thursday evening with family about 9pm. Several of us had coffee and we were told by I assuming their security that outside drinks or food weren't allowed in. We went back outside and finished our coffees and reentered at about 910pm only to be told it was a slow night and they were closing at 930pm even though they advertise open until 11pm. We also saw a lady come in with food on a tray and was selling to the folks bowling yet the security never approached them. Guess security either knows them or getting a kick back. I've been here a few times. It's a no frills type of alley - I will say for a solo bowler it is very expensive. So, it's $30 per hour per lane, no matter how many people are playing. That's pricey for a dumpy bowling alley, but fine. They also don't want to give you shoes if you already came in sneakers. Weird, but rental shoes are gross anyway, so fine. We played a game and a half in the hour before time ran out and wanted to add an hour, but were told there was a one hour wait if we wanted to "make a reservation". So, that's obnoxious on its own, but there were 18 lanes OPEN out of 40. We counted. We were told some were resetting (I imagine that's code for "broken") and also that they keep lanes open in case one breaks down. That means they intentionally keep almost half their lanes completely unavailable. We even offered to pay for a full hour on one of the backup lanes, and if someone else needed it, we'd leave (so we'd absorb the risk). But, we were told that would be "unfair". My expectations for bowling alleys are incredibly low. I expect stale beer, garbage food, poorly maintained lanes, and (here's the kicker) being able to play when half the lanes are open. We purchased an hour, 8pm, the bowling alley closes at 9. We would've finished early, however our lane was giving us problems, they had to switch us lanes and we were still having problems with scores and pin set up. As the bowling alley was closing, we were at our last round, and they would not let us finish... had we not have had so many problems initially, we would've even been done before. Female employee (dont know the name) was rude. Definitely won't go back for bowling. Dancing maybe, but not the bowling. read more

Terrible staff and terrible condition. The ball returns are so crappy not only will they eat up all of your time but they will damage your balls. Bowl El Paso raised prices but never fixes their machines and refuse to cover damage their failure and ineptitude to perform proper maintenance cause. The returns there will cause serious damage to your ball and they will just shrug. I even made a complaint to them on facebook. All Bowl El Paso did to take care of the complaint is remove my post about the damage their returns caused and then they blocked me from even seeing their page all together. They do not repair their machines and if you complain on social media they block you. Do not bowl there if you use your own gear. In fact being how unethical they are I would not bowl there at all. Go to FT. Bliss and do not give these clowns at Bowl El Paso your money. They don't use it do fix anything and when their trash damages your gear they tell you to go suck it. read more

No wonder this place is rated 2 stars. Turned our party of 8 away when we drove 35 minutes across town to bowl on a holiday night. Claimed it was "dead" but we watched them turn away two other parties for no reason. Oasis is better rated and has better business practices. read more

Came on a Sunday night, was surprised how large the bowling alley was and it included a bar lounge, pool table section, and a restaurant inside. Although there were several things to do, we had to wait 45 minutes to play (for both bowling and pool), and the guy wasn't very professional. He was staring at his phone while we were waiting in line for at least 5 minutes. We literally had to yell and say "excuse me?" unit he finally noticed us. Terrible customer service. We decided to play pool instead and it cost 5 dollars per game. While we were playing we decided to order nachos... They were HUMONGOUS, buuuut they didn't have much flavor. I thought for nachos to be packed, they would be packed with flavor but I was wrong. It also gave me a terrible stomach ache shortly after. They also have a bar/dance floor after 10pm. It was a mostly older crowd there and they didn't play not one song in English. I didn't think this was considerate at all over other people. I also noticed there were a lot of gang affiliated people here and hanging out in the parking lot which made it feel unsafe. This place would be nicer if it were less crowded and ran more professionally. But I'm giving it two stars because I left and didn't look back. This was the worst first impression ever. I won't be coming back here. I need to look for a safer, funner, bowling location that is diverse and welcoming. read more

Took my grandson's bowling, as we entered there's signage asking to socially distance. They had just opened for the day and the four groups of people there were all placed next to one another and the rest of the place totally empty. They very well could have spaced people out and filled in as more people arrived but even when asked if we could space out we weren't allowed. The pin setter kept jamming and we had to move which took some time , but our time wasn't extended at all even though we were paying by the hour. We'll probably try another place next time. read more

I do not recommend this business. Terrible customer service, false advertising and the building is in disrepair. They post on social media that open lanes are available but when we get there they say all lanes are reserved and tell us we can wait in the bar for three hours-- no thanks!! The few times we actually got to bowl the score boards didn't work correctly and the lanes/pins were having mechanical problems. Plus the roof leaks when it rains. When I posted about this on social media Bowl El Paso blocked me from their Facebook and their Instagram. They must really not want the truth to get out. SAD. read more

Came with family, the wait was about 5 minutes I was told it was $2.50 per game (not bad) got a lane but not a single ball in sight so we waited another 20 minutes. Strange, when the waitress approached me she asked me if I wanted anything from the bar I said "Can Ihave a pitcher of water" she came back and charged me $1.25 for WATER? I paid ($2.00 and she dident offer me change) We played 2 games and called it a night then went to pay my $5.00 (or so I thought) turns out I owed $16.00 ... um, what? The girl said "Its $2.50 per person, per game, plus shoe rental" wait, she said $2.50 per game, um okay. I told her she told me $2.50 per game then she goes on to say " Oh no, I tell every one its 2.50 per person per game plus shoe rental, theres signs every where" She continues to say " Ive worked here for over a year and I tell everyone". My issue is with the bar. Waitresses are great, the security guards are the issue. They do not know how to speak to people. Creating an hostile environment, threatening to remove us from the premises because my wife asked a question after he said angrily told us we couldn't put tables together. A simple "hey policy doesn't allow us to join tables" and we would have separated the tables with no issue. But from the start he came over angry yelling at us. Came here with some friends for some fun on a weekend. It's ideal for a weekend to have fun bowling, but it was packed. They have specials on drinks and bowling fees that vary each day, so be sure to check their site. The weekends are more than on the week days. Entering the place, it had a funky smell. Not sure how to describe it, but it was funky. Odd funky. Because it was packed there was a wait, luckily a few groups had left and lanes were open. They require an ID that they hold onto and you pay after you are done. $3 for shoes and prices vary per game. Saturday was $3.95 per game. They can split the bill for you among your friends if you want. Service was all right, but there were times when the lanes jammed. The music was loud so it makes it difficult to hear over the intercom. Music btw was awesome! They had 90s music and current songs mixed in. Took me back to Britney Spears and the macerena. Lol. There's a bar with a dance floor where everyone was having a good time. They also sell food. There's a pool area and arcade place. I believe it's $8 per game for billiards. The bowling itself was good, but we were only able to have one bowling ball at first because everyone took the balls. Luckily the lane next to us, shared their bowling balls and eventually gave it all to us when they finished. The racks were empty.. It was a bit messy, leftover nachos and plastic cups from previous customers. They try to clean it, but I don't think they have enough staff at this time. After my second time coming to this place I don't think I will be going back there. The first time I came here the waiting was not that bad. However, my second time it was completely different. After waiting for almost an hour to get a lane with no luck we ended up playing pool. They also have a bar/dance floor but I didn't like the music they were playing. Terrible service. We waited for the lady at the counter to get off her phone for a good 10-15 mintues so we could get a lane. When we got to our lane, there was trash left over from the previous patrons. I'm talking beer bottles and left over nachos. The ball returners are slow and don't always return the ball you were using. They turned off our lane because my male friend was using a pink ball. I dont know if they are sexist or if they have an actual rule about it. They just told us he could not use the pink ball. After which, the lady at the counter gave us death glares the rest of our time there and made us feel uncomfortable. After our games, we went up to the counter and they charged us for shoes when we brought our own saying that, "We have to charge you for shoes". Now the restaurant inside I rate it one star. We ordered French fries they took along time to make the order and low and behold they were burnt to a crisp literally. I asked for our money back lady who took our order had too much attitude and the fries took so long we didn't want to wait. I asked for the manager and the person who took my order claimed to be the manager and she will not give me my money back. Awful experience on a Friday night. Customer service is awful. The employees do not give a shit. So rude. The arcade games didn't work. After trying 3 games at a 1.00 each we finally went to get the manager. He didn't want to give us our money. Finally after calling them out they did. We waited over an hour even though there were empty lanes. The employees said we had to wait for league players to finish as a courtesy. We finally get our lane and the computer won't work. Had to go back to desk. The shoes were wet inside. Went back to desk. The balls kept getting stuck. We played one game with 5 people and when we went to pay they told us the total was 42.00. Wtf?? The computer automatically charges you for damages. Don't even waste your time or money here. read more

Not a bad place, it is clean though a bit outdated. I give them two stars because they have the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Their lines are long just waiting for the check in personnel to stop talking to every one until they deign to l attend paying customers. Some mechanical issues with the lanes that took them some time to fix, the young man helping seemed distracted and took a while to understand our problem. Monday night bowling is usually packed, however, the staff was not using their counter to keep track of who was next for a lane. We couldn't not hear them calling out the next numbers for lanes. The rest of the staff was too busy huddled around their snacks and drinks on the counter facing the lanes.In the end we got a lane only because we kept asking for an update on our wait. First time here and will not be back! Walked in and saw a thermometer for temperature checks. No one is checking the temperature though so maybe there just for show. I paid 50 for 2 hours of bowling for me and my family. No staff to take orders for drinks and food. Waiting in line at the bar to order food for almost 30 min! Which my time is still winding down as I wait to order food. I finally order my food and wait for almost an hour and still have not received any food. All the other tables around me are getting there's. Asked to speak to the manger to let him know I haven't received food and my lane is almost out of time. I asked if he could extend my time so we can eat our food whenever it does come. He mentioned he couldn't but offered to refund me my money for the food. This was just overall a bad experience. There were no social distance going on. Every lane was packed and I did not see any disinfectant of the balls or anything. Just poor customer service overall and just not worth it. read more

We had to wait 15 minutes at our lane for them to even open it (after we had already asked for them to help).
