The Westside Natatorium is accessible to the public and they offer public lap reservations, host competitions, team training, and they even help kiddos how to swim. The facility is setup with separate entries for spectator viewing and there are dedicated spectator bathrooms and locker room for those who are swimming. What really stood out to me is how they have an upper deck for spectators and there are plenty of rows for friends and family to watch. If you are interested in getting a swim workout in there are two ways to go about it. You can make a reservation ahead of time for a one hour session or you can roll the dice and simply walk-in. I have yet to make a reservation because the lanes are so large that it's pretty easy to grab a lane. Each lane is able to hold up to four swimmers. I've lucked out and have only had to share at most a lane with one other swimmer. Now when it comes to pricing you can pay for a swim session at a time, at the price of .... wait for it ... it's quite unbelievable ... for three dollars! You can also get unlimited swim for thirty days for only $30.

There's music playing the entire time and there's also a cool little water slide that requires a certain height to go down it, so that those will be able to to stand in the water after landing in the water. Being my first time, I had questions and different interactions with the staff and all were kind and helpful. Signs say no food, but there are vending machines with a sign that reads "use at your own risk". It's fitting because my first attempt at buying a bag of chips, I was shorted and the chips never came out. The second time (yea, I really wanted a snack), I went for a Reese's and it was a win. So yes...at your own risk. There's a little outdoor area for you to stand and dry without exiting. May be a cool place to bring the kids for the summer or even a small little birthday gathering. There's a splash pad outside for the littles and some picnic area seating under a couple of gazebos. First come, first serve I imagine. My kids wanna come back, so we we'll be back. You will be surprised at the bustling nature of the place, at its very high standard of cleanliness and professional atmosphere--it's almost as though it isn't in Las Cruces! They also have a daycare for little kids but I can't speak to that one, never having used it. My son takes dance classes at Gym Magic, but my husband and I ESPECIALLY like their parents' night out, which occurs about once a month. You can pay about $23 for four hours of babysitting (less than I pay a sitter), and go out on a Saturday night while the children do gymnastics, pizza, and watch a movie.
