There is a new manager in town and her name is Aysia. She is definitely taking her time to make sure all concerns are heard. I requested for the flooring to be attended to and for the walls to be retouched before moving in and she made sure to get everything done. Yes this is an older building but the new management team has been focused on giving everything a facelift. Atlanta had a major power outage recently that knocked out the elevator power and within minutes the management team communicated and had the maintenance team servicing the elevators. This building is centrally located and you're able to walk to all restaurants and shopping places from the building. I love it here and will be here for a while as long as this team stays in place. They got rid of the property manager that actually did care. Now we are hit with apologies and take our own trash out to the dumpster for a whole week. Then we ask about a credit for the TWO trash valets we are paying (personal and community) you are told this fee is built into your rent so they will "see" what they can do. Pretty sad but I will say this is what you are met with when nobody lives on site but the maintenance guys. It's not the women in the office homes that look like this, so it does not matter to them. So when you are seeing this building being price lower than the others in the area please believe you are going to pay the price one way or another. Also after all the fees they have added under this new name because it was Arium prior you are basically paying the same as everyone in the area. read more

ARIUM Westside is a spot I really want to like, but for whatever reason, restaurant and retail businesses haven't done well here over the years. I think the location is great, but perhaps the quality of the tenants hasn't been. ARIUM is located at the intersection of Northside Drive and 10th Street. Because of its location, it used to be called Tenside (portmanteau). According to an Atlanta Business Chronicle article dated July 19, 2016, "New York-based Bluerock Residential Growth REIT Inc. (NYSE: BRG) bought a leasehold interest in the class-A, 336-unit, mixed-use Tenside Apartment Homes at 1000 Northside Dr. near Georgia Tech for $74.5 million, or about $197,900 per residential unit and $205 per square foot of retail space. The community will be rebranded as the Arium Westside." This place is close to Georgia Tech, Westside Provisions District, the Marietta Street Artery, and Atlantic Station. Jersey Mike's was nothing out of the ordinary. Five Guys won the longevity award. When it comes to Tenside/ARIUM, Five Guys lasted the longest. With a brand as solid as Five Guys, I'm not surprised. I'm not sure why because they seemed to be the only tenant that was doing solid, consistent business. Closure signs on the windows directed people to their closest location on Peachtree Street in Midtown. I was a fan of Three Dollar Cafe. It was a legit neighborhood sports bar and I preferred it to Yard House. I'm disappointed it closed. I will say its retail storefront was awkward; it didn't look easily accessible from the street. Perhaps that was a reason for its downfall. Zen on Ten was a Thai and sushi bar, one of the original tenants I believe, positioned at the building's coveted corner space (now vacant). It lasted quite a while before closing like its sister restaurant at Ansley Square, King and I Thai restaurant. I enjoyed my meals at Zen on Ten before/after Georgia Tech men's basketball games and I even had a meal with nearby Sublime Doughnuts chef/owner Kamal Grant there. Dos Amigos is a pretty decent Mexican restaurant and bar that can stand up to La Fonda Latina, in my opinion. I am surprised Sarpino's Pizzeria is still around. I thought their pizza was OK. The reviews for Sarpino's are generally negative. The nearby Papa John's at 10th and State, now owned by Shaquille O'Neal, is better. ARIUM has covered deck parking with entrances/exits on both Northside and 10th. The deck has often felt dirty and not the safest to me so that is something that can be improved. Do NOT move here. I'm telling you!! Initially the price seemed more than fair for living right in West Midtown but I quickly realized why they are priced so low. CAR BREAK INS like crazy. My Audi was broken into a total of 4xs while living here. When you report to the management they do not care. You're on your own. Also the building is never clean. There is trash always thrown about and the floors are dirty. In the summer time the pools turns into a HipHop pool party until the wee hours of the morning. Elevators are ALWAYS broken. They're broken right now! I have no way to move my furniture out tmrw morning The mailroom goes by the "honor system" and packages are constantly stolen. As soon as your item is delivered RUN to the mailroom to retrieve it it'll be gone. Last, no security, no cop lookout, no concierge, no safety. You'd be better paying more somewhere else. All the reviews are TRUE. Prices are low for reasons. Despite for the complaints already mentioned in other reviews, there is a MAJOR problem with the management! THEY ENTER YOUR UNIT WITH NO NOTICE AT ALL. It's been the SECOND time this week they entered my room with the maintenance code, which as a resident I have no control of. This means they can enter whenever they want with that management code. Entered my room and opened my laundry room door to clean the machines or whatever they wanted to do, they took all my belongings like boxes or other small personal items out! They just left the items along the kitchen floor until I came back and found out! Ridiculous! If you are lucky and survived all the things ever mentioned in other reviews, what happened to me is UNFORGIVABLE and MAJOR. Two months later I'll be moving out and never come back to this hell place, where your rooms are entered freely with no notice at all. read more

For context: I've been living here for 4 months and moved in August 2023. So here's my 4-month review. Despite all the other 1 and 2-star reviews, I am going to give Bower Westside a 5-star review, and here's WHY: For starters, I saw many other comments slandering against the titling of this apartment as "luxury". The truth is, these ARE luxury apartments. For Midtown-WestMidtown Atlanta, these are some of the most spacious (800+ sq ft), renovated apartments, and appliance equipped that you will find for this price range. If you expect anything more, be prepared to pay $2000+ for a 1 bedroom. Unfortunately, that's just the truth of living in Atlanta, but the apartment is not at fault for America's housing crisis. Next, let's talk about customer service which is heavily slandered in the reviews. The first fact here is that problems and maintenance will arise with every apartment - that's not the leasing office's fault. Their sole job is how well they respond to the problems. Now, at first, I had some problems with the infrastructure of customer service (busy, delayed phone lines), but in regards to the actual customer service, the staff has been extremely helpful. I have had several maintenance issues (AC going out, stove stopped working, etc.) and every time I picked up the phone, gave the office a call, and they handled it for me, SAME DAY, even gave me a stove that was a much newer model. Now the protocol for making a maintenance request is to use the Resident Portal, so any other apartment would normally tell you "You have to do that through the resident portal."and hang up. But what did they do? They answered the phone, apologized for the problem, and notified maintenance immediately. That is customer service (thanks Kayla, thanks Ania). - I also want to add that many of these customer service complaints were made about the previous management. Next, let's address trash the next most common complaint. In my time here, I have had no problems with trash at all. Yes, the trash chutes do fill up on the weekends, but here's why: 1. Residents do not package their trash correctly. People do not break down cardboard boxes, use proper trash bags at times, and even just throw all of their old furniture right by the trash chute. 2. No apartment company is going to pay for weekend dumpster hauling. So, yes the weekends will result in fuller trash chutes. Also the weekends just so happen to be when all the residents who are moving out or decide they just want to get rid of their furniture and leave it right by the trash chute, so there's kind of a cause and effect here. I have seen people put entire couches, mattresses, etc. by the trash chute. That is not right and it is not the apartment's responsibility to handle your furniture. I have lived at other ATL apartments that will actually fine you for this, so these residents are lucky the apartment is so forgiving. Finally, I want to talk about security and infrastructure (another common complaint among the reviewers). As far as security, once again, this is ATLANTA. Car break-ins happen. My car has not been broken into; however, I have seen cars broken into. The solution? Park your car behind the security gates and remove any valuables. Be smart. Protect yourself. With regards to the infrastructure of the building, this is an older building and so is the parking garage. And guess what? They don't charge you as if it were a brand new parking garage. I pay $30/month for parking. You know what I used to pay to live in this area and park? $100+/month. Additionally, renovation and cleaning crews have been on the premises updating gutters, paint, pressure washing, etc. Takeaways: The problem here isn't the staff or the building. It's the residents. They do not respect the property or the staff. They treat the staff poorly and as a result do not get a good response. I've never worked in leasing and I imagine many of you haven't either, but I bet you wouldn't want to deal with these types of people either if they came to YOUR job and disrespected you daily. Maintenance problems happen with every apartment. The actual apartments themselves are newly renovated, spacious, and a great deal for what you get. The location is primo for young professionals and students going to Georgia Tech. The area is super walkable thanks to the new West-Midtown developments and there are even new vendors coming thanks to the new development next door. You're walking distanc to restaurants, barbershops, gym studios, convenience stores, right by the QT which has great deals on gas, and Georgia Tech's campus is only a 10 minute walk away. It's also located close to the highway so you can get to other parts of Atlanta in roughly 10-15 minutes (well, when Atlanta's horrendous traffic jams don't happen). I've been asking maintenance team to fix this AC for three days now and they just took off for a long break without fixing this. Carroll owns everything Arium. Arium just installed SmartLocks. So if you have a break in or a robbery or something unspeakable, it will be your responsibility to get remedy for that. Other outsourced rights you give up when you come here: 1. If your car gets booted, it's on you to prove to another company that they are at fault. 2. If a package gets stolen it is up to you to get remedy from the package room company for it (because they technically don't own the package room 3. If you want to use the pool... tough. They are not responsible for the use or non use of the pool so when they shut the pool down, it is on you to figure out when the pool will be able to be used again (???) 4. The gates don't work for security in the parking lot, so if someone gets in the building that shouldn't be there, it's not Carroll or Arium's responsibility. They used to have a security guard out front, but they figured that it was cheaper for you to get robbed or die and settle than to pay someone to protect you. So when you come here, just know you are essentialy paying them for the right to be robbed, murdered or raped with no consequences to them if any of those things happen. My question is, what do I pay the lazy abusive leasing office people for? Why are there three of them if all they do is sit there and copy/paste legal answers to inquiries about cars being broken into and homeless people sleeping in the hallways. One person can copy/pasre. I wonder if they know that when they yell at you and gang up on you for asking simple questions about your rights in this building. Lived here for a while. Got to know just about everyone. All the 5 star reviews on here after 2017 are fake accounts Carroll made. Most people I talked to agree this is a shit hole. Cant believe they advertise it as luxury. There are brown drips of sewage everywhere in the corridors. There's always a weird smell. The parking lot is the noisier lot and at 12am you'll hear car screeches. The fire alarm goes off randomly and then you'll get an email an hour after warning they might go off. Trash is never picked up, and sometimes dragged through the corridors and the security gates are always broken leading to multiple robberies and thefts. They repaired them and now they won't close. The staff is also horrible. Terrible attitudes and as soon as you complain about anything (ex: my windows were popped because the gate was broken and there was no security) they pretend that they are the victims of your behavior and threaten you. Ive seen them gang up on several people that live here. They are a team and cover for each other to keep their jobs. Carroll Management always takes their side because it's cheaper for them to get rid of you and replace you with another "dumb college tenant" (as the staff calls us) than to fix problems in their building. Kelli Watson is a sad woman who's never here but always takes Gennia's side because she's covering for her absence. Saadiya is just collecting a check. I guess they're not quite a slumlord because there aren't rats, but that's the low bar I'm measuring them towards. Bower westside apartments need to seriously work to keep areas cleaner. Too much trash during the weekends. They need to collect trash every day. Pick up dog poop. Fix elevators. Listen to complaints to make this place a better place. When will building be painted. Before parking levels were power washed. Stairwells should also be cleaned keeping all areas free of trash avoid unwanted critters. Why has this gone out of control? Management should do rounds to make sure all is running smoothly. If ad says luxury apartments, make them better, changing old blinds. THE place has potentials. Close to GaTech and restaurants, gasoline stations. So please give it a good shine. read more

I originally wasn't going to write a review until I moved out. My lease is up in February 2022 but I will be breaking my lease within 60 days. If you wanted me to tell you one word to describe these apartments, JANKY. They are advertised as luxury and the only thing luxury about these apartments are the walk-in closets. I have three incidents I will describe to you. The first one is simple and I didn't think anything of it. The outlet in my bathroom went out and the leasing office was very quick to come and repair it. About the outlets I would like to let you know that nearly every outlet in the apartment, you have to constantly press the reset button in order for them to work. I lived with that even though these are described as luxury apartments and you're paying luxury prices. The second incident was quite strange. I noticed water damage in the ceiling in my bathroom that wasn't there before. Low and behold right over my shower there appeared to be a leak. There was a constant drip over my shower for days (dirty brown water) and you can imagine the smell of water damage and mildew for days. I noticed this drip on a Friday and the leasing office is unable to service you all weekend, so of course the water damage got worse and spreaded in my bathroom making it very unsightly. Once they finally were able to come on Monday I assumed that they would repaint what was damaged because it is very unsightly and not like a luxury apartment. After fixing the leak they left the water damage there unpainted. It looks disgusting. The third incident may be isolated. I'm not sure where the noise was coming from. I was dealing with a loud vibration and knocking noise starting at seven in the morning all throughout the day. As you can imagine being woken up out of your sleep at 7 AM is enough to piss anyone off. At first I assumed it would go away, but it didn't for a whole month. I called the leasing office and submitted complaints online. The noise still appears often. I'm not sure what they can do about that. I just decided to include it because it inconvenienced my life while living here. The very last incident that has driven me to break my lease happened this morning. I have been working from home lately and I haven't driven in a few days. This morning when I went out to my car I noticed that my car had been ransacked. I leave my car doors unlocked in case thieves are looking for something so they don't break my window. Of course I don't keep any valuables in my car, I know better. I decided to call the leasing office and let them know about the incident. The first time I called I wasn't able to get through but after I left a message and called back again I was miraculously able to speak to somebody. Mind you, it is a Saturday today so I wasn't sure if I will be able to speak to somebody. After telling them what happened to me they seem to be very careless and pointed out that I left my door unlocked. Thank God I left my door unlocked so that my window wouldn't be busted. Again these apartments are described as luxury so they should be secure. They said they would look at the cameras on Monday but they would have to look through three days of footage and they may not be able to find anything because I may have parked in a parking space that wasn't covered by the cameras. I find that the leasing office is very nonchalant when he comes to residence. I really don't appreciate this for what I'm paying. I would just like to be treated like somebody cares a little bit about what's going on. They proceeded to make it seem like it was my fault and my car was broken into. They will likely do nothing about the situation. I hope that no one else's car is broken into in this complex. I also wanted to point out this is only my 4th month here. I moved in on January 9, 2021 today is May 1, 2021 and all this has happened. If you're expecting to come here for a luxury lifestyle look at the apartments down the street because these won't meet your standards. The property manager Jania has a rude tone and is very nonchalant when it comes to your concerns as a paying resident. A 60 day notice is required in order to break your lease I will be submitting mine today. read more

I pay my rent on time every month, sometimes early. Little backgroind about Arium Westside: Everything is always broken. There always seems to be high noise maintenance work being done at all hours, they clearly didn't install the proper partitions for tenant separarions, there are strangers here in the pool in all hours of the night and they sneak hidden fees into everything. But I put up with that stuff for some reason until today. I don't believe in causing problems so I'm quiet and keep to myself unless it's an egregious problem. I've been here for almost 3 years. I had to remind the new manager (Kelli Watson) that I had not received my complimentary carpet cleaning. She got an attitude, implying I should not tell her how to do her super complicated job. I scheduled my cleaning for a week that I would be on vacation. I came back from vacation and found my carpet semi cleaned and my brand new robot vacuum broken. Yeah. I knew this would be a headache, so I documented everything. Pictures, dates of attendance, plane tickets, everything. Still not enough. Over the course of three months, I tried to sort this out with Kelli, but she's so entrenched in her grudge with me, she refused to do her job and look into both sides of the situation. She decided to take the contractor's side and believe them that they didn't do anything wrong. Then she essentially blamed me for the incident and stonewalled me for three months after offering me $50. The vacuum costs $250. She wouldn't answer any inquiries about any other maintenance issues I had. Guess I hurt her feelings. Guess I'm not good enough to be heard and believed. I decided to take this matter up with Carrol management. I talked to Susan. Susan was caught between a rock and a hard place so of course she sided with Kelli. Because once again, customers aren't believed at Carrol properties. She did offer $125. I gave her the make and model of my robot vacuum so she could see it was $250. She said Carroll management would never offer me the full amount back. Susan then decided to pointedly state that they were not accusing me of making up the story. I dont know how it escalated to that because I never mentioned that to her, but I took the bait and replied that by not paying the full amount, they essentially were. Again my vacuum was three months old. She hung up in my face. I called back because at this point I was genuinely curious how far this would go. I asked Susan if she hung up on me on purpose. She said that she did not and she was not that rude. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to. She said she would forward me to a manager. Then Susan decided to hang up in my face again. This time I don't think it was another accident, but I didn't call back to find out. I don't know why this has gone this far. Apparently Carrol management cares more about $250 than their customers? I don't know why being disrespected at every turn is the company policy. What's more, there's only one number listed on their websites so I guess these two ladies are the only representatives that Carroll has to offer. If you can avoid them, don't come here. They are garbage people. I will be avoiding them completely. I am an architect and will literally go out of my way not to work in any place that makes Carroll buildings. Think about that: I don't like them so much that they can't pay me to be around them. That's how bad it is. read more

I've been a resident at Arium Westside for 4 years and have enjoyed every minute of my time here. The office staff and maintenance staff are the best!! They are all so helpful and have always made me feel welcome anytime I've visited the office or they enter my apt for a maintenance request. We are SO lucky to have the leasing office/maintenance staff that we do at Arium. Everyone is so nice and are on top off everything. They consistently keep us updated on everything going on in the community. Along with consistently doing things to keep our complex pretty and clean (i.e power washing the parking area, stairs and hallways). Also anytime we have a maintenance request they are on it in a timely manner. The maintenance staff is so so nice and are always smiling when you see them around working hard to keep the complex running smoothly. Alexis and Ginnia in the front office are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and are on top of all your questions and needs The complex overall is very well kept. The resort style pool is always clean and the club house is a fun place with games and big screen to hang out with friends. The gym also has everything you need as well. The community is very safe and overall quit. You can walk or take a bird (electric scooter) to many fun things nearby. Oh also did I mention they have a wine down Wednesday. I was looking at reviews for other places on Yelp and figured I should go ahead and review my own apartment! ARIUM Westside (formerly Tenside) is a perfectly lovely place to live. Transitioning to the new managers came with some bumps in the road, but nothing horrible. My apartment (a three-bedroom unit) is very spacious. I can never hear my neighbors above, below, or to either side of me--it's very quiet. Maintenance is usually very quick to respond, with the exception of one time when a bunch of units' dishwashers all broke, so it took more than a week for them to fix mine. Overall, I feel safe in this apartment complex, and it is kept relatively clean (although I would say to the managers that cleanliness is something they could work even harder on). The fitness center is acceptable. The location is pretty great -- very close to Georgia Tech and close to many bars and restaurants. Overall, I would recommend it! read more

Fire alarm goes off all hours of the day, randomly throughout the week. 10 p.m...6 a.m...2 p.m. It has really ruined my experience as a resident. Oh and not to mention, the elevator is constantly breaking and lags between floors. The mail room is a hot mess with packages everywhere. Picture attached. We pay premium for valet trash but they only take selective things in trash bags. When we complain about anything, they turn it back on the residents and don't take ownership of any of the problems. If you're looking for an apartment in Atlanta DO NOT choose Arium Westside. They do a great job selling the apartment during the visit/walk through but ended up being my worst decision EVER! NIGHTMARE! Location is the only thing that is good about this apartment. It is literally like living in a college dormitory. Car break ins, package room break ins (mail being stolen) unconcerned staff, strangers trespassing/entering the gate and using the pool in the summer. My car was broken into while I was on vacation along with at least 10 other cars in the parking lot and no one informed me. My car window was broke for days and although the staff was aware no one informed me and was very nonchalant when I reported the issue "Oh we know about the break ins!". Security is quick to boot your car if your guest doesn't have a parking sticking to make money, but they are never around for the many car break ins and trespassing. Pool is always dirty. If you have guests with cars you have to physically come down every-time to let them up. If you choose to have more than one guest visit after 5p with cars you're SOL because once the office close you're unable to obtain an additional parking pass and all guests need a parking pass. They close the gym at 10p along with the community room. If you prefer to workout at night or use the community room to study at night be prepared to be kicked out the gym by security at 10p. I live on the 7th floor and the hallways need a power wash. Dogs piss and s**t in the hallways and the walls are disgusting. My lease is up in 2 months and I am counting down the days until I'm able to move. Moving into this complex has been the worst decision EVER! Do not let the location fool you into moving here, there's so many other options in the same vicinity. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID becoming a resident. read more

BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY they have no respect or regard for their tenants. I have lived at this residence for four and a half years. Everything went south when carol management took over. 1. They left my AC broken for seven months April-October. While I live on the top floor. Had to call corporate for them to finally come and fix it. 2. They will enter your apartment without your permission without any proper notice. 3. They keep finding odd reason to come into everyone's apartment for weird things you didn't request. 4. They will bang on your door at 8-11 am like they are bat ish crazy or they're the police and you have 30 kilos of coke. They don't even say who they are when they bang. LIKE LITERALLY TRYING TO BREAK DOWN THE DOOR BANGING. 5. They have no type of class when it comes to the way they interact with their tenants. I've been called rude I've even over heard them calling me foul language in the main area of the leasing office with OTHER TENANTS PRESENT. 6. They have no respect for their tenants and we're badly bred. 7. After multiple notices written and verbal they continue to bang on my door early in the morning and enter my unit without my permission. 8. They property head manager is a very mean vile woman who cares nothing about her tenants. Even after I told her to stop banging on my door. She continued and yelled at me through my door. POINT IS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY UNTIL CAROL MANAGEMENT IS OUT. NO RESPECT CLASS OR REGARD FOR THEIR TENANTS. No remorse for their poor service. I currently live here. You get two guest passes for parking as well as decals for your own private vehicle. I happened to be using a family car for the week and left it on the 5th floor of the parking garage with guest decal clearly shown. I am a student and days go by without using the car since the apartment is close to campus and I don't use need a car every day. Today I go to the car and to my surprise, car is booted - despite the guess pass. At first i think this is a mistake and parking enforcement did not see the guest pass. I call the # on the sticker for State Impound Authority and they tell me apparently I can only park before the gate or on the top floor. Now I can't use the car unless i pay 3 days x $75 = $225 fee to remove the boot, despite me being a resident of this apartment paying over $1500 per month. I recommend the management at Arium Westside to at least link the guest decal to resident's apartment and give them a courtesy call to let residents know they are in violation of community parking rules. I am not against parking enforcement but I live here and this is a major inconvenience. I can't be the first resident to make this mistake and now I am facing a $225 fee. I hope Arium Westside management takes this seriously and addresses the issue. And to be clear, there are no visible signs where I parked that I would get booted if i used my guest parking decal there. This is probably in some violation of GA code. Imagine if I did not need my car for a week?? I would have faced a 7 x $75 = $525 fee that I would be forced to pay..Ridiculous! Now I am waiting over 50 minutes and parking enforcement still has not arrived to take the boot of the vehicle. God knows how long till I get my car back. read more

I've lived here for almost 5 years (for 4 of those years it was Tenside Apartments) and I have loved it! Here's why: 1. I'm a graduate student at GT so being close to campus was a priority to me. 2. It's a very safe community. Double gated, security officers, and patrolled by GT and APD. 3. I have yet to have an issue with the management staff. 4. Great location in Midtown near restaurants and bars. 5. Wonderful amenities (pool, gym and club room)! Overall a great place to live! read more

I've lived at Arium Westside for a year now and the decision to renew my lease for the next year could not have been easier. I can sincerely say this apartment complex has been beyond satisfactory in every regard. Each room is well maintained and has plenty of space with quality appliances. The price is easily competitive for the area, and it's plenty affordable especially if you have roommates. In addition, parking for residents and guests is free with your lease. The area is very safe with plenty of security doors and the grounds are patrolled nightly by both police and security guards. The community here is respectful and diverse with students, families, couples, and anything in between. The facilities are SO nice including a beautiful courtyard pool, a game room/clubhouse room with flatscreens and pool/foozball tables and a kitchenette. They also just remodeled the fitness center in 2018 with new equipment/machines and a separate video training room. Now for the important stuff: Maintenance and management! The maintenance staff here is exceptional. They're very kind and respectful of your time and space. Although I have not submitted many maintenance requests, all of them have been answered within a couple business days with well timed follow ups when necessary. The management staff has probably been my favorite thing about Arium Westside so far. They're extremely friendly, and I haven't had any questions/issues they haven't been able to resolve in a 5-10 minute conversation which is super helpful when you work full-time and can't spend much time in the leasing office. They also make sure to plan several community events throughout the year, which is refreshing to see since a lot of housing complexes have a tendency to focus on attracting new residents and instead keeping their current residents. This apartment complex is very reasonably priced for all the amenities and the location. With all the new apartment buildings popping up, Arium is a gem. Being so close to the westside and Georgia Tech is the best of both worlds. The new bike pedestrian path will connect Arium directly to Centennial Olympic Park. read more

Easily the nicest apartment I've lived in. Nice location near campus, and the staff always responds quickly to maintenance requests. The biggest drawback is the frequent fire alarms, and while the price is nice, it's right at the border of what I could afford. I do wish that they'd switch to paperless billing, though. Seems like they're wasting a lot of money and paper mailing me a bill they could just send via email. read more

My daughter lives at Arium Westside, and I love visiting her apartment! The leasing staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Mary Lane, and the apartments are beautiful and very conveniently located right next to Georgia Tech. I've been living at Arium Westside (previously Tenside) for over two years. With the new management, they've been doing a lot of renovation (gym, cafe etc). They repainted the exterior of the apartment and during the process, painters oversprayed my car. When I spoke with the property manager, she told me that apartment has no responsibility and I have to work directly with the painting company (Better Renovation Inc, I think). The supervisor of that company, Corey, told me to submit a receipt and I've submitted the receipt to clean off overspray and it's been over a month and half and I'm still waiting for the reimbursement. I tried to escalate through Arium numerous times and although she did attempted to call the painting company, the problem still hasn't been resolved yet and I'm disappointed that they are not taking any responsibility even though Arium hired those painters. I've wasted enough of my time already so I'm going to give up and take the loss ($200). So if you are looking for an apartment, stay away because I don't think they really care about you once you sign the lease. I'll warn any of my coworkers or any friends at Tech looking for an apartment going forward. read more
