Went in for a cylinder 1 misfire and they didn't even run diagnostics on their end to confirm. They just changed the coil and they said I also had a gas leak. Charged me $250 just to tighten a hose and change a coil. They didn't confirm if the issue was the coil or the fuel injector. They also broke my coolant pipes and refused to fix it. I had to spend an extra $200 to supply the parts so they can install it. Only after I told Raj I have video proof showing my coolant wasn't leaking before I dropped it off is when he wanted to fix it as a "favor". They didn't even clean the pool of coolant, said I have to go get it cleaned at a wash. They are super unprofessional and uneducated. I shouldn't have paid them a dime.

I've then coming to Jiffy Lube for many years, since my 1st car at age 16 years and I am now…read morealmost 50 years old. I been to various locations throughout Long Island and the five boroughs to manage the maintenance of my car's oil change - as most Jiffy lubes are fast and cost-effective. This is my first time at the Floral Park location and it thus far has exceeded my expectations in comparison to other locations that I have been to like the Hempstead and Valley Stream locations - which in my opinion at the time of services needed more professionalism (loud music, cursing and native patois speaking in boisterous tones) and to do a thorough job as I speculated that my oil wasn't even changed and I was charged (my vehicle is under warranty, dealer maintained and has no service lights on yet my oil was dark and thick AFTER a supposed it oil change when checked). At the Floral Park location I was greeted by the manager Jimmy upon arrival and had the door held for me, which exemplified both customer service and courtesy. In addition to that ; they didn't try to upsell me any unneeded products or services -which was appreciated. Being a woman it is often taken as an opportunity to take advantage with upselling under the guise of scare tactics that your car may break down or have you issues. Overall, this Jiffy Lube location in Floral Park I recommend and will return too going forward

I decided it was time to look around for someplace else to work on my car. During my research for a good mechanic I came across Al's. Decided to give them a try. I spoke with Chris and I gave him the list from the dealer of work they said had to be done (at an exorbitant rate). Well Chris took the list and said he would look at the car and see what it needed. Turns out it was an inspection and oil change. He did recommend that the tires would need to replaced soon. A few months went by and I decided it was time so I went back. I had a tire in mind that Chris said was a good tire however he recommended a tire his father just put on his vehicle. I went with Chris' recommendation. Went for a ride out on the Island. Car ran better than new. His tire recommendation was spot on. Great honest place. I met Al too. Very nice guy as well. Won't be going any place else with my cars. Glad I found them. Wish I knew about them years ago. Highly recommend Al's Preferred.
