I was never really content with my prior birthday parties, but I am very proud to say that the new owners of Bouvardia went out of their way for a new customer and exceeded my expectations. The service was phenomenal, and the music was extraordinary! They have a professional band of musicians that play during your event, and it is all included for. At first, when I heard the prices, I felt a bit overwhelmed, which for most of the part, many customers will do the same. But if you're in a similar position as I was, Bouvardia will not disappoint and will make your event spectacular by doing things right the first time around. My Family and I had a wonderful time here; the aesthetic of this place left me speechless. I have been to many other restaurants, banquet halls, and venues before, but this is the one that caught my eye and made my birthday the most unforgettable event ever! This place charges $80-110 per seat and is not worth even half of that if I am being honest. We reserved a table for 20 people at $90 per seat and were expecting to have a great time especially given the advertised headline singer for the night. Long story short, the singer never showed up but we still were required to pay the full seat price despite the fact that they didn't deliver on the advertised entertainment which was the main reason we chose this place to celebrate our aunts birthday. That aside, the appetizers were subpar at best. The salads for one were nothing to be happy about. The food as a whole was mediocre and the portions were minimal compared to other places. I left hungry as far as the main courses were concerned, basically the actual food of substance was skimped on despite the outrageously high seat price. We ran out of chicken, potatoes, and lamb on my side of the table if you could believe that. The service was not very attentive or polite either. As a whole, for $90 per person, this place was a huge ripoff especially because other restaurants of the like are nearly half the price and have much more and much better tasting/quality food and a better environment and ambiance. I recommend you stay away from this place and go to either Impressions or Marquis or Veranda or Maran or Old Gyumri or anywhere else for that matter because your money will go much further and you will have a much better time for your special occasion. Also, other places will deliver on their promises or at least make it right by giving you a discount when the headline singer you paid for doesn't show up. Management here needs to take this review under serious consideration and change their business persona before people figure out it's a rip off and they have to close the doors. I'm not sure if the owner changed in this establishment, but let me start by saying the food was disgusting. My family was beyond disappointed with how bad the food tasted. The sarma tasted like there was BBQ sauce in it, the eggplant ikra was sour (let's be real, that thing had gotten bad and was being served to family), the broccoli salad tasted like toothpaste, the khatchapuris were stale. The list goes on! I'm so grateful that the lunch meats and bread were fine. After that nightmare, we we're all getting ready to leave and my uncle wanted to take some of the food home but they had an attitude about that and literally only packed up food enough for 4 people to eat. The hall had at least 100 people. I can guarantee that's not all the food that was leftover. This restaurant is reusing the food that was previously served other parties. I'm sorry but that is a health department violation. It's sickening! To put the cherry on top, they did not give our alcohol back that WE purchased. We bought 20 bottles of wines and 20 bottles of vodka and they gave back only 3 vodkas and 3 wines. I can guarantee that much alcohol was not consumed. This establishment stole our alcohol and is going to try and sell the alcohol we brought for our event. I am beyond disappointed with this banquet hall. Shame on you!!! read more

Replying to business owner: We spoke to book 80 people with 20 extra on call. You agreed and said you will have enough food for 100 people. We did have exactly 105 people which we paid for every person so please don't pretend like you did ya a favor. For what you promised and what you delivered you should be ashamed that you take advantage of people during a difficult time. I suggest you call your "cook" or whoever you called and ask them what they served. Old pickles, small plate of cheese maybe 4 more appetizers..horrible. You did give us food to take home.. it was two small aluminum to go trays. You literally skimped it and rode the edge of just enough food to fill the empty parts of the table. Good job places like this have a natural tendency to go downhill from word of mouth and we will make sure that happens as I'll be telling everyone about our experience. This is why the community is hating banquet halls because of prices of work like this place. *Crooks* Had the unfortunate experience to hold my dads "7th" day of passing. We walked in talked to the owner told him we trust you tell us the price per person and fill the table with the 10 salads and appetizers you promised. Show up, they had 4-5 appetizers in VERY small portions. Nothing on the table. No food.. basically promised everything and delivered on nothing. Crooks.. at a difficult time like this in our lives you decide to lie and put such an empty upsetting table.. Speechless with the service! I had a same day last minute get together and had to feed 15 people! I tried 3 different places and all of them gave me the same answer--NO! So I called Hrach at Bouvardia around noon and in less than 5 minutes he answered all of my questions and started my order. We agreed the food would be ready to be picked up at 7:00pm. Hrach gave me a follow up call at 6:55 sharp! He had set up my entire order in party trays. The selection of BBQ meat was excellent and cooked to perfection. My guests were left in shock by the presentation and flavors of their juicy lamb chops pork spare ribs and filet mignon! Their gourmet entrees are undoubtedly the best in the industry. Celebrated Mother's Day with my family there last night. We had the $80 per seat package which had 14 entries and I don't even remember how many other dishes, so much food and so tasty! The servers were absolutely amazing, all of them! We were all impressed and we didn't even have to ask them for nothing. The manager was there all the time, asking if everything was good. They also have a photographer, such a cute girl! The music was also very good, especially the band. I would definitely let my friends and family know about our experience! We attended here last night for a birthday and honestly very nicely remodeled. We were about 35 people or so. Food was pretty good too! But service was very pleasant! Server kept checking on us and bringing food around! I turned to ask my husband for water and server was already filling my cup, honestly that kind of attention is very important. Food is great, but comes in a very limited quantity - they really try to limit the obesity levels - I get it. The live music is karaoke, the singers were a bit strange - the one girl sings half way through the song, and walks away all unhappy? Service was good - nothing amazing. Not full 5 stars given how many people they packed into the room (felt like a sardine) and the amount of food they put on the tables (sardines probably would go well). But seriously, there was one plate of antipasto that had 5 slices of salami and 4 slices of basturma. Another large plate that had two fresh tomatoes and three Persian cucumbers - very nice. Small plate of humus and a large looking plate of Kale - hot dishes tasted really good, but they were strictly counted and it was hard to go for the seconds.
