Yummy mozzarella ball, compliments of the chef.

My family and I had a two night vacation booked at the Fairmont resort for the first week of December for the Christmas Wonderland experience. We usually go for one night each year but this year we really wanted to take advantage of everything it offers and it is so hard for us to get it all in and only one night. We had been to Bourbon Steak probably about 6 to 7 years earlier and were amazed by what a different experience it was. The first experience we had was kind of funny because the menus were so ridiculously heavy one of our servers actually accidentally dropped a menu on my head and nearly gave me a concussion, it's funny now because it's been so long. Of course the first thing I did is eye the menu, and not for the food offerings, but for the weight to make sure I was safe! I'm kidding. It was the most amazing experience this time around. We had such an incredible server-Antonio. He was so attentive, so timely, so accommodating to our young children as well as us. He also really took his time explaining the bar items to both my husband and my father-in-law as they are big bourbon guys. We enjoyed the complimentary duck fat fries and thought that was a creative alternative to the regular bread and butter we usually fill up on. We all split a chopped salad, which was so delicious and they divided it in four plates for us and it was more than enough food. We also each shared a fillet, and the whipped potatoes. The sides are very generous. We probably could've gotten one side and split it by four people. The food was absolutely amazing. It was so delicious. I will say it was very heavy when you're not used to eating that way so I wouldn't suggest to eat so late, but we walked it off at Christmas village. We had no room for dessert, sadly because the menu looked great and I saw other people eating dessert that looked delicious, but not a single thing could fit in to our bellies after those delicious duck fat fries, the wedge salad, the steak and potatoes. We definitely want to go back and we really commend the incredible excellent service we had. Truly, our server made it all the more enjoyable. Shout out to Antonio who deserves so much praise!

Love this place. Been here a few time and last year we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve here. They had a pre fixed menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The ambience is beautiful and cozy, the employees are amazing, top notch service, thank you for such a great time

A must when visiting the Princess, and even worth the trip if you're not staying there. The steaks and food were amazing! We even had our 6 year old with us and the staff was so accommodating and patient. Mom and Dad were able to eat a nice meal while still spending time with our little one at this great resort.

Great food, great service, kind of quiet at the bar for a Friday night. The bar wasn't as big or social as I was hoping for but a great place to catch up with my friend. So he turns her appetizer was fantastic, don't wasters really good, the iceberg wedge salad was a bit disappointing with a quirky, gritty texture and a flavor unlike the standard wedge. I was really excited for it but wouldn't order it again as is.

Had a group dinner here and I have to say, it was a great experience. The staff here is very friendly and professional and the service was top tier. The salad and tuna tartare were perfect starters that were light and fresh. The steak was cooked to perfection with a nice medium rare cook and seasoned generously. Some great sides, I was a big fan of the mushrooms. Got to enjoy a little dessert too and I'm always a sucker for a nice creme brûlée.

Food was delicious!!! Love the table side offerings. The lobster pot pie was out of this world. We did order steak and sides but the lobster pot pie was my favorite! I could not stop thinking about it for days. Service was decent and ambiance was very intimate. We sat in the booths in the bar area. Great for date nights, celebrations, night outs.

Christmas dinner was amazing here at Bourbon steak. I ordered the ribeye it was delicious just to say the least. All of the sides were great that we ordered. The cocktails were very good our servant Keaton was amazing and with the extra bio for every little detailed items that we asked for, it is located right in the lobby of the princess hotel so all the festive lights and groundwork and everything was really beautiful. I am absolutely going back to this restaurant on a regular basis because everything was excellent. The servers everybody was wonderful, very friendly, and very helpful. Bourbon Steakhouse is probably the best fine dining steakhouse I've been to this year. EVERYTHING, I repeat EVERYTHING was phenomenal. From the interior, to our server, to the food...not one single critique. I dined there to celebrate National Sister's day (late) and early birthday. Shout out to the manager Joe and our server Allen (Allan), they provided the best customer service, EVER! We were served complimentary sparkling rose greet beverage that was so refreshing, along with complimentary beef fat fries with trio dipping sauces and a truffle butter infused roll. Each complimentary item was so delicious, it made us anxious for the main course! Food ordered: 4 cast iron broiled oysters Broiled Seabass 8 oz Ribeye Pave Kimchi fried rice The food was perfection!!! Everything was superb, the taste, temperature, presentation, all 10s. Hands down, I HIGHLY recommend dining @bourbonsteakhouse for a great fine dining experience. Rate 10/10

Mishima Wagyu Filet Mignon at Bourbon Steak.

A fine steakhouse dining experience in Scottsdale. Had the Chef's Selection of nice meaty oysters and a few sides with a perfectly prepared and presented American Wagyu Filet Mignon Steak. It's been the best steak in my recent memory.

The dining experience at Bourbon Steak has been the best I have experienced this year. The host staff, wait staff, and management are exceptionally friendly. I took my sister here for her birthday with a Travelzoo certificate and it was fantastic. The manager on duty Joe that came to our table to greet and check on us was the best. Alan our server was so great we are going to ask for him the next time we are there. The duck fat fries were really good and among the 3 dipping sauces that accompany it I really liked the pickled ketchup. That was a first for me. The Patagonian Toothfish I ordered was very very good. I had never had toothfish before, so I was impressed. The wheat berry risotto with the celery root and prosciutto brodo added so much flavor to this dish. The ambiance was relaxing and perfect for an evening dinner. They know fine dining and do it with class.

For apps we got the lamb fondue which was super tender and unique. Dipping meet in cheese? Literally nothing better. Then we also got the green chili pork stew which is a MUST try! Not too spicy and full of flavor. Also, great for sharing as you fill it in the buttery tortillas. The filet was seriously one of the best I've ever had in Arizona. It has a nice shallot butter crust and it was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. This was a highlight. The pork chop is huge and has a nice sweetness to it. The meat wasn't dry either...it pretty much tasted like the best bacon I've ever had LOL Everyone must get the green chili Mac n cheese. Not spicy at all just Smokey and tangy and full of cheese but shockingly not that heavy. The pecan pie was unreal. Gooey and sweet but the crust was still super flakey. The brownie skillet was soft in the middle which is how it always should be. Their known for their frozen huckleberry margarita which is a treat in its own but it's not too icey they definitely don't skip out on the tequila. Rachel was our server. She's been there for awhile so you know that they treat their staff well. She was super knowledgeable and honest about certain menu items. I also spoke with the manager, Matt, who was very welcoming and seemed very proud of his restaurant (as he should be). Overall highly reccomend it here. Everything exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely be returning!

We were running a little late so I had our friends check-in at the hostess stand and they gave my name for our reservation which was confirmed and they were sat at a table. We then arrive a short while later and I approached the hostess and stated that we had a reservation and our friends already arrived, checked-in for our reservation and were seated. The hostess asks what name the reservation was under and I tell her my complete name and she said she doesn't have it. I explained that I have a confirmation email and she waves her tablet at me about 4 feet away so I can't see the details and says "See! I don't have it." I replied, my friends are already here under the reservation so can I just go find them? She replied yes. I don't understand the interaction when my friends clearly checked in already using my name for the reservation. It was a discussion that wasn't necessary and did not give our first visit to the Roaring Fork a good impression. Once we found our friends after searching through the entire restaurant, we found them and sat down. We were immediately approached my our server who was very attentative and gave great service. We were told about a 3-course menu with multiple selections and I decided to get the New York Strip. I enjoyed my cesar salad and then the New York Strip was delivered. It was prepared according to my request, medium, and I checked by cutting right down the middle. I noticed it was a little tough to cut even with the steak knife I provided but the inside looked as expected so I continued on. What I was surprised to find was the amount of gristle on the New York Strip. There is nothing like having to pull food out of your mouth (several times) at a public place because you can't possible chew or consume it. For $80 (salad, New York Strip, sides and desert) I expected better. Unfortunately, my experience leads me to leave a 3 star review.

The vibe is super chill and the staff all had smiles. We felt welcomed immediately. Our cocktails were crafted beautifully and they were balanced properly. My wife really liked the Cosmo on HH which is rare for her. We tried the signature toasted raviolis, steak soup, and the steak tacos. All the apps were unique and tasted great. The raviolis were probably the best bite of the evening. The pro tip is to get half jalapeno cheese and half meat. The soup would be perfect on a chilly afternoon as it is rich and belly warming. We got 4 cocktails and 4 appetizers on HH for about $100 plus tip. That is pretty good value for quality hooch and food.

Flavors…read morewere all on point and as expected from the components on the menu, which doesn't happen often in Phoenix. The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

My partner opted for the burrata paired with their noble bread, crispy salmon, & midnight brownie. Our favorites were their burrata & crispy salmon, with our not so favorites being the rest. The chopped salad was mediocre at best, nothing worth coming back for. The short ribs were overcooked, making it extremely dry. The blueberry pudding cake was incredibly dense and dry. The brownie was as hard as a rock, making it difficult to pick up a piece without breaking the plate while at it. Overall, my partner and I were quite disappointed with our meals. The only silver lining was that our server, Nicholas, was phenomenal!
