The waiting room and parking lot can get crowded when there's a lot of classes going on, which makes it hard sometimes. You can view the kids in gymnastics, with the cameras they have connected on the TV, which can get difficult to see sometimes as well.

We all arrived and they only let us go into the play area 10 minutes past the start time of the party. No explanation, no apology, no extra time given. The staff just sat around the play area and chatted among themselves and did nothing. During the party time where food and cake were served, the staff did not help with the flow of the party, did not serve food, and only brought out the sliced pieces of the cake the last 15 minutes of the party. Also, they rushed us to leave although they started at least 10 minutes late. How's that fair? Also, beware - in the play spaces there are numerous machines or games where you have to pay extra to play. They're in the middle of the jumping areas, so kids (and everyone else!) would think they're included but they're not, so be prepared for that.

I LOVE BBB at Bayside because well first of all there is actual parking next door for it. Parking for a classes-only gym... In QUEENS?? Unheard of. But more importantly, everyone is serious about fitness and works really hard exercising, but no one takes themSELVES too seriously. It's not a popularity contest. It's mostly young professionals who are there to do their thing, hype you up if necessary, and peace out. I really needed a trainer that was incredibly knowledgable about the body works and knew how to effectively work around injuries. I also need a trainer who would push me if I needed it, but more importantly make sure I wasn't doing too much or the wrong thing. Lisa is perfect. She is creative and adaptive in her workouts and exercises; she is clearly incredible knowledgable about muscles and the way the body moves; and has had a lot of experience with women with all types of injuries. Plus she comes to my house! I highly recommend Lisa for anyone looking to get healthier.
