I joined CrossFit 516 exactly one year ago, and I've gained so much more than I expected. The…read morecoaches, the people, and the atmosphere make it so much more than just a gym you go to before or after work. It's a place you look forward to returning to every time you leave. After feeling like I had reached the limit of what I could achieve on my own at a chain gym, I joined Crossfit516 after doing research into CF. After training at CrossFit 516 for the past 12 months, I'm confident it was the right decision. Many members have been here for over a decade, and it's not uncommon to meet people who have left other CrossFit locations to train here. One of the best parts for newcomers is the intro program, which is perfect for easing into the workouts. The coaches are experts and genuinely care about your progress. The workouts are intense but scalable, making them accessible to all fitness levels. I joined at 39, and there are members younger and older, so neither your age nor current fitness level should hold you back from checking out CrossFit516. One-on-one coaching is available, and training with Coach Ellen has been one of the best decisions I've made (and I've made a lot of great decisions). Initially, I planned to do a few sessions to learn more about Olympic lifting, avoid bad habits, and perform better in class, but I'm going into week 24 and it's far exceeded the goals and expectations I initially set. It's rare to get more out of something than you hope for, but that has defined my experience here. There's always something new to learn in CrossFit, and it's also a lot of fun. Whether you're in class next to someone training for the Open or "just" staying in shape, everyone is welcoming. If you're looking for a place to redefine your limits, achieve your fitness goals, and be part of an amazing community, CrossFit 516 won't let you down. The longevity of Crossfit516 speaks for itself. The coaches are incredible, and their love of CF makes training here nothing but a great experience.

I have been attending Crossfit 516 for the last year now. I'll try to make my review as objective…read moreas possible because after a year I have become friends with the people who run this gym. Also, since this is my first Crossfit gym I like it the most. The trainer/owners Tyler and Logan are excellent. They are knowledgeable, attentive and able to meet the demands of their clients. Now, don't get me wrong, they won't let you quit because you want to and they don't let you skip out on any of the fundamental movements. The beauty of Crossfit is that you engage in every activity. Gymnastics, Bodyweight, Olympic lifts, Cardio, Flexibility are all a part of it. The work out of the day is constantly varied, so you rarely do the same workout. The new trainer Sara is excellent, she is very determined and she commands the class well. So please, even though you hear loud weights banging and atlas stones crashes this is not a male centric gym. There are many women who are bored of the usual gyms who come to Crossfit and see results. No matter what shape you are in, this is a great place to start your fitness career. The environment is very motivating and no one lets you quit. This is common amongst many Crossfit gyms and I have been to seven different gyms now. But what stands out about Crossfit 516 is that we have really developed a family here. Everyone is your friend from the moment you come and in and the people. Also Tyler and Logan command a vision of expanding their space and giving everyone the best experience possible. They plan the workouts weeks in advance and they make sure that your entire hour is worth what you paid for it.

I belong to another gym and seem to never get myself motivated enough to go and actually try. I called Mike, the owner, a couple of days prior to coming in, and he was super helpful and friendly in getting me scheduled to come in for an assessment. The assessment included somewhat intense (at least for me since I'm pretty out of shape) work out routines, BMI testing, and body/weight measurements. Mike guided each routine and offered great advice/leadership throughout. At the end, another trainer offered some great tips on clean eating/meal options. Overall, everyone seems very helpful and friendly. The place is not big by any means but definitely large enough for a few people to be working out simultaneously. I'll be back here again throughout the upcoming months, so I'm excited to see where it goes. Definitely recommend!

My "The Rock" story started here almost a year ago with my boyfriend. We were at another facility…read morethat closed. After speaking with Carlo and going over the program we joined and were excited to start. Carlo even made an additional night slot due to my work hours, not a lot of gyms had an after 6pm night slot so the 6:30pm class was created and we have been going ever since. A month or two into the program I had a prior knee issue that progressively began to get worse. In the mean time working with Dr's to find the best course of action I discussed this with Carlo as well as Tom and Janice to best fit every training session to the needs of my condition but still get the maximum workout possible and still hit my own personal fitness goals. Almost 9 months later modifying every workout and everyone of these trainers working with me every class I went in for a full knee replacement in July, summer 2022. 8 weeks later I am back in the gym modified again for now, until I am back to 100% but I can't thank each and everyone of them from the bottom of my heart because if it was not for them supporting me and tailoring my workouts once again after surgery so that I can still get the most out of it even with a knee not functioning at 100% prior and now after my replacement I would not be in the condition I am to return 8 weeks later. I can't speak enough about The Rock, CrossFit. The workouts are amazing and push your limits which is what everyone needs to truly see how far you can go and that's just in life as well. It's a family atmosphere where everyone is supporting everyone through the workouts and "No one gets left behind". My boyfriend and I looked at a lot of gym's and we can't recommend this gym enough if you are looking for something outside of your comfort zone and challenging as well as other classes that offer that nice balance. I would recommend trying a class you won't be disappointed maybe out of breath, lol. I have been struggling with weight loss for 4 years. I have never felt this good in years and for the first time have definition in my arms and legs that I have not seen in over 20 years. You owe it to yourself to be the best you. Let them help you achieve that goal you won't be disappointed. Carlo, Tom and Janice love you guys and girl... and Matt thank you

Even if I bring myself to work out with trainers, often times, I would end up being disappointed or unmotivated anymore to continue. After I started training with Stan, it all changed. I have been Stan's client since 2014! Yes, it has been that long since I started my workout with him YAY !! When I started my first training FOUR AND A HALF YEARS ago with Stan, I instantly took a liking to his PROFESSIONALISM! Stan is the exact type of the trainer who knows how to push you to reach to the maximum with plenty of knowledge of fitness. The best thing about him is HE PAYS ATTENTION to you during the whole training session! From my past experiences with other trainers, I felt that some trainers were only there to count numbers without correcting forms for target areas that needed to be improved. Stan's training has been giving me the motivation to continue, not to mention the RESULTS of being able to not only stay below size 2 but keep a healthier lifestyle with high energy Working with such a true professional since 2014, I have gained so much positivity in my life Another thing I need to mention is that HE IS NEARLY ALWAYS AVAILABLE! I'm talking about somewhere from 5:00 am in the morning till 11:00 pm at night, so someone like me with limited availability can always have my regular work out in between. I feel very comfortable with his new location at Supreme Fitness, I love the bright natural light and positive vibes there.
