First off, shout out to our amazing server Tim (like Tim Horton's)! He was so fun and energetic and offered some great insight to each dish that came out. Hamachi Crudo - I typically love hamachi and anything crudo-style, so we ordered this with high expectations. When it came out, we were a little perplexed but decided to dive in. The broth was delicious, but you really have to ladle and fill your spoon with it to really get the flavors. Otherwise, the entire thing is just bland. The way this was presented was like a sushi roll - sticks of veggies wrapped in a slice of hamachi. Sounds cool in theory, but in practice, it was just too big and too difficult to eat. The filling would just come out and apart, and the overall dining experience was not great. Beef Carpaccio - this was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the beef, but the seasoned rice paper was an odd addition. They were so difficult to chew through! It was like eating plastic. Seared Hokkaido Scallops - what an interesting take on traditionl scallop dishes! The Thai influence was fantastic, and we enjoyed every bite. Salted Sesame Praline Bar - so delicious! The chocolate mousse was fantastic but not overly sweet, and the salted sesame crisp was a nice pairing to the mousse. read more

RSVP'd ahead of time to spend our anniversary here. We did valet at the hotel that this restaurant was located in which was $20. Started off with MP oysters. We decided to go with 2 each of their 3 different oysters. I wish I remembered where and which ones because I only enjoyed one from the 3 different kinds haha. Then we got the beef carpaccio which was sooo delicious. I definitely recommend it if raw meat doesn't gross you out. For the main course I got the seafood linguine and my husband went with the lamb. The seafood linguine was creamy and full of flavor topped with a decent amount of seafood. The lamb was tender and juicy and packed with flavor. We also got a side of truffle fries which were heavenly. I could take a whole basket to go. We finished off with their version of a cheesecake which was new and exciting. The presentation was beautiful. And definitely a unique take on a cheesecake. read more

We came here for the happy hour. I will admit this is a very nice restaurant... However the happy hour seems more like an alternative menu rather than a cheaper menu outside of the $2 oysters. Most of the items are appetizers. We got the oysters, prawn cocktail, tuna tatami, and truffle fries. They're all very good and although they're a little cheaper than the standard menu, they are still quite pricey and the portions are small. Servers are very good and know what they're doing. Interior looks modern and high class, similar to a nice hotel. Come here if you want something fancy at a slight discount. read more

Edit 2.0: Came back here for the NYE menu. Boulevard was indeed still exceptional and worth it to come here for the nye. We got served with the amuse buche then with the 3 courses of appetizer, main and dessert. Appetizer: The yellow tail crudo was the best: - Yellow Tail Crudo - Delicata Squash Salad - BLVD Smoked Wild Salmon Pastrami - Pate en Croute Main: The sablefish was the best: - Cavatelli al Fungi - Charcoal Grilled Sablefish - BLVD Lobster Thermidor - Prime Striploin with Foie Gras Dessert: The pear tart was the trully exceptional dish: - Rum, Banana & Chocolate Cake - Chestnut Vacherin - Pear Tart Overall, it was an exceptional experience and very recommended. A visit to the Boulevard... It's probably been a decade since I was last here. This place is situated on the ground level and front side of the Sutton Hotel on Burrard Street. There are pay street parking or pay parkades available in the surrounding area. Inside radiants that simple yet elegant layout and atmosphere, however, the noise level could be a bit high (yes noise level of a pub from all the office workers). After being seated and glancing through the menu, here were the food I ordered; 1. Strawberry spritz drink. A light refreshing little drink. 2. Blue fin tuna sashimi. The ponzu sauce was okay, it's the Akami part of the tuna but it was quite fresh. However the tiny little crunchy potato was a jawbreaker so be careful of that, don't break a tooth lol. 3. Seafood tower for 2. Everything was decently fresh and good except for the snow crab legs, they were dry, powdery and tasteless (precooked snow crab legs are hard to get the meat off and never good, restaurants should stop using them... perhaps Dungeness crabs are a better choice?!?) 4. BLVD baked oysters. They were okay but personally not a fan of bread crumbs (yes I understand it soaks up the taste and add to the flavour but not fond of the texture). 5. Brant Lake wagyu beef carpaccio. The ingredients were well in harmony with each other without sacrificing the fresh taste of the wagyu beef, plus the deep fried rice paper was so delicate yet able to hold the carpaccio together. Very nice! Probably one of the better beef carpaccio I had. 6. Prime striploin. It was done medium rare but a bit on the powdery side, missing that nice grilled texture and flavour (was my steak cooked Sous Vibe?). 7. Charred broccolini. Pretty straightforward side dish. 8. Bon Bon service dessert. It was okay and pretty basic. Was expecting it a bit more considering best pastry chef in the last 3 years? Overall, a very nice and simple yet elegant dining atmosphere. I can imagine it's a suitable place for most occasions or for a date night. The food quality was decent except for the steak which I wish didn't have that powdery texture taste on the outside. Price wise it's on par with similar surrounding restaurants. As for the service, it was actually pretty good! I am somewhat amazed how the staffs conduct themselves especially our server (Scarlet) who was so smooth and fluent in her fine dining skills (thanks for changing cutleries and plates in between courses plus clearing off any crumbs off the table). I would definitely be back to the Boulevard and recommend this place, if you haven't been here before, give this place a try (reservation is recommended). read more

Last time we were here, we enjoyed their happy hour so we decided we were going to make room for their mains... Deja vu! We ordered bunch of their appies again. Had their Negroni to open up our appetites. We started off with their meatballs marinara. A nice blend of beef, pork and veal with lots of ooey gooey mozzarella melted over top. Next is their crispy chicken wings with fish sauce caramel, sambal chili and pickled vegetables. A touch too saucy as I wanted to have more of the crispiness. The hands down best dish were their oysters. They were so fresh and so big that I could have ordered another dozen if I wasn't so full. I was very tempted to order more but it could have been that we were eating earlier than normal. I will come back again to try their full menu. Their prix fixe looked amazing! read more

I had high hopes after several people told me it was great. Left disappointed. I love a good lobster bisque... but this lobster bisque and its accompanying shrimp cake was one of the most vile things I've ever eaten. Ever. Bad soup base (and very little of it), inedible shrimp cake, a tarragon foam that did not work well with the flavors at ALL, and some mystery meat below the foam (maybe a mussel?) - plus no lobster! Usually there's a piece of claw meat or something to jazz it up, but nope. Not here. The whole thing tasted horrid and was just a mess. A disaster. The seafood pasta with shellfish sauce was excellent, though the description of Calabrian chili bread crumbs was a disappointment. Basically no chili. The sesame praline dessert was fine but pretentious, and for half the price you can walk down the block to Thierry or head to Thomas Haas or Temper Pastry and get something much better for half the price. I wouldn't return. Skip it. read more

Decided to go for dine out to take advantage of one of my favorite local restaurants and as usually they didn't disappoint. Obviously the ambiance and set up has changed due to the pandemic but they still did a great job facilitating. The quality and service is always top notch and they did a fantastic job spacing everyone apart by adding more room where the lounge is. I decided to go with their albacore tuna, braised te mana lamb shank for $5 extra and chocolate terrine. The lamb was amazing and probably one of the best I've had in a long time. The only thing I would say is that the food came out a lot longer than we expected as we ended staying for almost 2 hours for a 3 course meal. Overall very satisfied and would definitely come back when things get better (hopefully sooner than later) read more

A really classy place with elegant dining options. We came here for happy hour (3-5 pm) and had an amazing linner (lunch dinner). The food was phenomenal, and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the service wasn't the best. Food in order of favoritism: 1. The oysters were incredible. We ordered 24 and every one of them were big and tasted really fresh. 2. My second favorite item was the BLVD chowder. I've been around the block with chowder, being from SF and all, but the fennel added just enough lightness to elevate the luxuriously creamy soup. It was probably one of my favorite chowders of all time. 3. The fish tacos were great but felt like the fish was a little small and that there was a little too much slaw. Otherwise, the flavors worked really well together and packed a punch with every bite. 4. The fries were tasty as well, but pretty standard at this point. Cripsy, crunchy, and dipped in a flavorful aoili; I feel like it was exactly what I wanted/expected. 5. Last of the things that we ordered was the cornbread. By the time it got to us, it was a little cold and there was just nothing really special. I've had softer and fluffier cornbread so this was easily the bottom of the list for me. We also ordered the aperol spritz and house red (tocado). Both were good and worth it if you like the alcohol Again, definitely recommend this place for happy hour because it's a great way to get high quality food for a much cheaper price than normal. Great for a date spot as well if that's what you're looking for! read more

We dined at Boulevard on a Friday night - I think I would come back on a quieter evening if possible. The sound level was truly overwhelming throughout our meal. We had to almost shout at each other to be heard at times. The noise from the bar was deafening, and the many hard surfaces (floor/walls/ceiling) with no noise-dampening features don't help either. It's a shame; the food and service here are superb, and they deserve 5 stars on their own, but something really needs to be done about the raucous atmosphere in which they're served. That all being said: I highly recommend the caviar service, the whole sea bream 'en croûte de sel' (that was a real show stopper - they bake an whole fish inside a sea salt coating, and present it at the table; the succulent fish and the Provençal sauce are just divine), and the desserts, which you absolutely have to save room for. We had the chestnut vacherin (a deconstructed Mont Blanc) and the pear tart - both were phenomenal. The flavors were so well balanced, the sugar levels just sweet enough, and the details... oof. Those pear "leaf" garnishes will haunt my dreams, as will the buckwheat ice cream from the chestnut dish. Chef Takahashi is brilliant. read more

This place is a GEM. My partner and I went to Boulevard for happy hour on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate his birthday. We made a reservation but it wasn't super busy which was nice! The interior design is gorgeous, with decadent details and high quality finishes. It felt luxurious--a beautiful space to dine in. We ordered 24 raw oysters and asked for horseradish to accompany them (it doesn't come with any). The horseradish was freshly grated and absolutely perfect with the oysters. The oysters themselves were some of the freshest I've had (no fishy taste) and the mignonette was the slightest bit sweet and spicy. Magnifique. And excellently priced. We also ordered two clam chowders, which was really rich and tasteful, however the portion size was a bit poor considering we paid $13 for each bowl and it came with 1 US cup (or less!) of the actual soup. Very pleasing on the palate, however. We then ordered the meatballs, which were perfectly cooked and served in a delicately sweet tomato sauce with toasted foccacia. Loved it. Lastly, we ordered the assorted house made gelato and they were all wonderful (the grapefruit and raspberry especially). We received a small complementary pastry for my partner's birthday which was beautifully plated and included layers, tastes, and textures that paired so incredibly well together. Our server was so kind, personable, and attentive to top off the experience! We'll definitely be back for more soon. read more

Another exceptional dining experience at Boulevard - which was very busy. My wife and I attended for the Christmas Day Set Menu and it did not disappoint. How the kitchen can deliver that quality of a meal with so many choices is beyond us - huge applause to the kitchen staff. Fabulous variations on traditional themes and all perfectly prepared, presented, and absolutely delicious. Of equal mention is the front of house and serving staff. Of particular note is Yunal Marji on the management side and his exceptionally talented team (Victoria, Sarah, and Yvette just to name a few). We are already planning our return. Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar is designated as one of Canada's top 100 restaurants. The food was excellent, but not memorable. Our initial mistake was choosing to dine in the bar. Dark and wood inspired, it looks nothing like the well styled dining space, which is bright and uplifting. On this beautiful Friday night in late June, we should have eaten on the outside patio. Service at the bar was pleasant enough, but nothing left an imprint. My tuna tartare was the best tasting dish of the evening, light with very interesting mushrooms and vegetables accompanying the tuna. It was great. Our grilled sablefish was done nicely, but I will forget about soon. That was Boulevard, good, but forgettable. It isn't one of Canada's top 100 restaurants. That I know, but it was okay place to eat. read more

Went for their happy hour 3-530. You can either sit in the bar area or lounge. We sat in the lounge which has a darker/old fashioned vibe (dark wooden tables, leather couches, a more older/traditional kinda vibe) versus the bar/dining area which is more modern and bright. I wouldn't recommend sitting in the lounge unless you're into that old fashioned vibe. Service was decent but I was hoping the food was going to be good. It was average. I have been for dinner a few times and have always enjoyed the seafood tower and the complimentary bread basket is always a big hit. However for today's happy hour we ordered the following: marinated octopus (1/5) Crispy chicken wings (4/5) Korean galbi "dog" (4/5) Ling cod soft shell taco (3.5/5) The marinated octopus was so disappointing. I barely tasted any seasoning and it lacked acidity. All I could taste was cucumber flavour. This dish fell flat for me. There were tiny pieces of octopus which were cooked well but that was the only positive thint about the dish. There was also a random taro chip in amongst the tortilla chips-a bit odd. The crispy chicken wings I have had before as a while back they were touted as being similar to the ever-so-famous "pok pok" chicken wings from Portland. Not even close anymore. I swear these were better years ago. They were cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp; however the sauce was overly sweet. It comes with a few pieces of pickled veg which kinda helped to cut the sweetness. If you have never had them before, it's worth getting though. Of all of the items we ordered, I would get this dish again. The Korean "hot dog" was surprisingly decent. The sausage was juicy and flavourful. It had some crispy onions and a side of Korean hot sauce that you could dip with. The ling cod taco tasted more like chicken as the meat was over cooked. I think I would have enjoyed if more If it had been beer or tempura battered. Visually it looked like breaded chicken or fish sticks. Flavour was good as it was similar to the chicken wings and luckily there was sauce otherwise it would have been too dry. I had wanted to try their happy hour for some time and now that I have, I'll be moving through my list of other places to try out. read more

We came back to celebrate a major birthday for my hubby. We had reserved a private room for a group of 10. The staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. A hand-written birthday card had provided when we arrived, and staff came over to wish him a happy birthday. We had a pleasant night. We went before during Happy Hour. It was reasonably priced for higher-end food and decent beverages, so we decided to return. The food was consistently excellent, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Roasted Sablefish: Sablefish with broccoli, grilled maitake mushroom, radish, and xo sauce. It was moist and delicious! Extraordinary! Hubby had even been offered a birthday dessert. It was an exquisite dining experience. We were very impressed. We highly recommend this five stars restaurant. It's spectacularly gorgeous here. We came for a late lunch and it was not busy- but we were provided a large booth in the corner where it was quieter. The seafood tower is amazing. We upgraded on the oysters which was a good call because they were spectacular- comes with cocktail, mignonette, and horseradish cream sauces to try. Crab legs, mussels, jumbo shrimp cocktail, Dungeness crab Louie, tuna tataki, and mussel salad rounded out the plate. So many options to choose from, all delicious! I went rather light and chose the pea veloute and the tomato salad for lunch. Big were really beautifully plated and seasoned well. Another person in the group had the Tuna Bahn Mi which looked really good and another had the scallops which gave me entree envy. We're staying at the Sutton and had been traveling all day and with the rave reviews of boulevard we thought we'd give the "seafood tower for 2" a go, along with the carpaccio. Boulevard is an all-rounder, from the atmosphere to the food, it was an overall splendid experience. I've been eyeing Boulevard for a while now and finally got the chance to go try their menu out on my anniversary with my girlfriend and I definitely do not regret the choice! Situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, this upscale establishment exudes a vibe of finesse and extravagance. The restaurant was spacious and the dim lighting really set the mood and added to the overall elegance of the dining experience. We went there for dinner and we both ordered from the Prix Fixe menu. From the appetizers, the Boulevard signature clam chowder is definitely a must-have. It takes a very hearty and traditional dish to an entirely different level with the substitution of bacon with smoked sablefish, lending it the same amount of smokiness but without all the greasiness. The albacore tonnato was also very unique, where it was served with a tuna emulsion, which I haven't tried before. For the entrees, we ordered the grilled hanger steak and the lingcod 'cioppino. The grilled hanger steak was pretty standard, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The thing I admired the most wasn't the steak, but the charred turnip tops charred to perfection and was the dish's highlight for me. For the cioppino, however, the lingcod was a bit dry but the seafood overall tasted fresh and sweet. Finally, the dessert was fantastic! The chocolate terrine had the perfect amount of sweetness, which paired well with the tanginess of the raspberries. The caramel apricot mousse was light and vibrant, with each bite of sweetness offset by the apricot gel. In all, Boulevard is a great place to go for a nice dinner out and I would definitely be coming back to try the other dishes they have to offer! read more

We came here for the seafood tower which was two levels, prepped well however due to the noise I would hesitate to come back here. The seafood tower is good with nori wrapped steelhead, albacore tuna tataki, mussel escabèche, dungeness crab louie, snow crab legs, prawns, oysters. The snow crab legs were the most disappointing. We also got to Foie Gras Terrine which I found over priced for the portion size but delicious and the Prawn Toast which was delightful with the bisque. Octopus and Foie Gras was good, service was okay, felt impatience from our server, the chef was very stubborn about making my pasta with nothing, no sauce, no cheese, absolutely nothing but with light butter. First time it came out, it was cheesy and creamy, second time came back with same thing with shrimp on it. I guess chef can't stand it when customers change their recipe. And they gave us somebody else's bill triple the amount. Never coming back again. The main issue is they didn't target what me and my daughter asked for. They did the opposite twice. read more

First time visiting. Saw many great reviews and wanted to make it special for an occasion. We started off with dozen mixed raw Oysters....it was great. Very fresh and choices were great. Then we moved to Foie Gras Terrine. I'm not the biggest Foie Gras fan but my partner really enjoyed it. Then for main, I ordered Medium Rare USDA Prime Striploin and my partner ordered Lamb Duo medium rare as well. We tried Boulevard based on a recommendation from a list of the top restaurants in Vancouver. Normally I would avoid restaurants in hotels, but the photos and menu looked good enough to try. We opted for a slightly early dinner at 4:30 pm, which is the perfect time to arrive if you're a fan of happy hour small plates but don't want to eat too early. Take advantage of the happy hour pricing to have some fresh oysters, which we got a dozen of. Being from Seattle and having the privilege of living by and eating oysters directly from the oyster farms in the Washington state area, I can safely say that the oysters from Boulevard were as fresh and delicious as you can get. Not surprising given they brand themselves as Boulevard "Kitchen and Oyster Bar". However, I would have liked to see more oyster options-- there was a baked oyster appetizer and the raw oysters (which are both on the happy hour menu as well as the regular raw bar menu for those eating a bit later), but I was expecting more options or at a bare minimum some additional info on where these oysters were from. Having been to "oyster bars" that really take pride in having several local varieties to choose from, it seems almost a bit odd that Boulevard doesn't tell you more than these are "local". For the rest of our meal, we chose to order a bunch of the happy hour small plates. The truffle fries were particularly truffle-y, the fish tacos were good (but possible could do with a bit more of a sauce), and the chicken wings were fantastic. The chowder was the standout for me (and again, being from Seattle, we've had plenty of the famous Ivars chowder). If I came back, I would absolutely order the chowder again. If you come to Boulevard, do not skip dessert. Chef Kenta Takahashi is an award winning pastry chef, and the Pistachio & Grapefruit Vacherin was absolutely incredible. Not only was the presentation immaculate and beautiful, but the complex flavor combinations between the sweet pistachio, tart grapefruit, and the fresh mugwort ice cream were incredible. The service was also fantastic. Our server was friendly and made some great recommendations, and even was able to provide a recommendation for lunch the next day. read more

Came here for their happy hour, probably the most unsuccessfully happy hour we've had for the last two months. First off service was terrible. We have to wave her down to order something or clear our dishes. Dishes that I highly do not recommend are: chicken wings - heavily battered crust that you couldn't taste whether it is chicken or what. Lobster max&cheese same thing - tasteless. Their oysters were small and terrible. It was a big mistake ordering their signature drink- DON'T do it because their bartender doesn't know what he's doing. They really should take the oyster bar off their name. Coast or Black & Blue have far better service and tastier food than this restaurant. 3 of us walked in on a Saturday night and sat in the lounge because of course, the restaurant was full. The lounge was fine - the decor and lighting was darker, kind of like a cigar bar, but it had dull access to the menu so no issues there. We got the seafood tower for 2, the octopus, stuff fried olives (lounge menu) and the beef carpaccio. The oysters were Kyushu (Japan) oysters and probably the best raw oysters I've had in my life to date. The prawns were super plump and awesome. There were 2 crab legs, and then 4 plates of other seafood - a couple ceviches, a tuna tataki, and some spicy Asian flavored thing Everything else was pretty good. The stuff fried olives were actually pretty awesome. I'd come here again for sure. They had a large and comprehensive drink menu too. read more

I've been to Boulevard many times but never got around to writing a review. It's awesome. The food is always cooked well with a variety of different flavors for each dish, the seafood is fresh, and they have a great bar selection. The ambiance is nice and they have nice cozy seating, even if some of the different areas of the restaurant are large and open. It's quite quaint regardless of where you're seated. I visited Boulevard yesterday and I was blown away once again. I got to try their brunch menu which is available starting at 11am on weekends. I wanted to go back there again today for breakfast which starts earlier- brunch was just that good. Came here with a friend for lunch. We did not have reservations but we got lucky as someone didn't show up so we were seated right away. My friend hasn't been here before but she always wanted to try this place. I ordered the Korean rice bowl and a moscow mule. The rice bowl was okay. It is pricier than other places but this is Boulevard, so it is fancier. I would have liked a little more rice in it, especially for the price but the flavor was there. The mule was decent but had a lot of crushed ice in it. The service is prompt, courteous and very professional. They kept our drinks filled, removed the plates quickly and offered their opinions on the food they like and didn't like. We felt a bit under dressed as I was in a hoodie and my friend was dressed in casual wear as she was about to head to a hair appointment after. Most others were business casual. my 2nd dineout this year - thought i wasn't doing it this year but i saw boulevard on the list anddddd it's always been on my list to try so! went with my foodie grp, s and a. s and i got a bit lost trying to get to the restaurant so needless to say, we were STARVING when we got there. the restaurant's entrance is a little tricky to find and s&i actually went thru the wrong entrance but oh well lol we got there! all of us knew that we were going to order from the dineout menu so we took a bit of time figuring out drinks. our server came by super quick and asked us abt water - i thought it was a nice touch that she offered hot water as an option seeing how it was cold and wet out. it was kinda cute how all of us ordered wine this time - we usually do cocktails. s had the chardonnay off of the dineout pairing while a and i had the hatch blend of pinot blanc and gewurztraminer. the wine that i had was very light on the palate with a strong gewurtz after taste. tho im not a big fan of chardonnay, i tried a bit of s' wine and found that good as well. then after this wine, i made the mistake of getting a double aviation gin&soda...yeah lol. for appies, s and i both had the albacora tuna. the plating was very nice tho the dish is something that is slightly hard to eat. the celery, which is compressed (i just re-read the menu), is chiffonaded aka they're cut into thin ribbons. i didn't realize that they were celery ribbons until i ate it. the tuna was seared, which added a nice smoky flavour to the dish. i loved the tonnato parsley on the side - it was vinegary and citrusy that matched with the tuna very well. a had the mushroom consomme - she loved that. she said it was basically taking mushrooms and then extracting the essence of it and making that into a soup. onto entrees - we each ordered the diff options on the menu. to note tho - it doesn't say so on the dineout site but the hanger steak is offered with an extra $5 charge. s had the ling cod - she found the cod to be too salty with the skin on. i had a bit of it and found it not too bad - i quite liked the curry sauce on the top of the cod. a had the rigatoni - the flavours were so rich on this vegan dish. obvsly i had the hanger steak - the steak was done according to my preference (medium), the sauerkraut added a diff texture and sourness to cut the greasy of the dish. the horseradish creama adds the kick of horseradish but it's not too strong for those that can't handle spice. there was also a potato thing - i can't rmb the exact name - but it was essentially a hashbrown and i loved it. since there were only 2 choices of desserts, s and a had the chocolate and i had the other. surprisingly, the chocolate mousse was very light yet rich at the same time. the brownie bits with the dark chocolate was delightful (this is also when im like downing my 2nd drink so bear with me). i have the passionfruit bavarios - the passionfruit and raspberry def ended my night on a fruity and fresh note. another restaurant to add onto my return for more list :) read more

Wow, I had a wonderful experience here, celebrating my birthday with family-the food and service was outstanding, which is something I can rarely say about a restaurant. I live in Seattle, and I can't say I have had such a well prepared meal and such impeccable service, in the four years that I have lived here! First off, our server Marcella was just amazing. We were a party of 4, so we got to try several dishes, and all of them were 8/10-10/10! The pasta with seafood was 10/10 and the scallops were 9/10. I didn't try the halibut, but my brother had it and really enjoyed it. I loved my cocktail called Agra, with passion fruit , and we had two desserts - the sesame chocolate mousse cake and the elderberry lemon dessert - both were delicious! read more
