Place really went down hill. Ordered 2x recently from them. Pizza was kinda what pissed me off, which was the 2nd order bc. They used to be fabulous, They genuinely had good food but the boli I ordered was all bread: 3 inche ends, Both Ends. The 5 to 6 inches in-between. It did have substantial meat but that was it. I had to check to see if I ordered the right thing bc there was barely any cheese maybe 5 sliced of onions, & the peppers were on the side???? Ok. The pizza was again all bread & the cheese was like the hairline of an uncle who Just can't give up his 3 hairs. It was receding receding I feel bad leaving really terrible reviews. I gave BOULEVARD PIZZA five stars because they consistently serve one of the best and possiblyTHE Best cheesesteak hoagie on the east shore. it's perfection in every way, just the right amount of juicy steak on a light fresh roll, with crisp lettuce and red ripe tomatoes. Today mine was prepared by the owner and head chef, Carlo, I like to enjoy mine on the premise, at the limited but pleasant seating arrangements. All I have to say is YUM. I stopped by here and picked up a pizza to-go while traveling through Harrisburg. I called to order the pizza and was told it would take 30 minutes. The pizza was ready right when we arrived and made to perfection. There was a generous amount of toppings (I ordered a meat lovers) and it was cooked just right. Highly recommend! We had a NY style cheese pizza and this was one of the best around the area. Perfect char on the bottom of the crust and the homemade sauce is killer. I also had a salad with house made to order dressing and an Italian sub on homemade bread. The owner/operator was super busy and maintained a superb attitude and you could tell he genuinely loves serving people his food. We came here for lunch and had a pleasant meal. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the space was cozy but welcoming. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza along with a southwestern chicken salad. The salad came with bread. In retrospect, I ordered way too much food, and should have asked if they had a side salad instead. The pizza was pretty standard, and the salad was decent and a good size. The staff was friendly. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and then your food is brought to you when ready. You then pay at the counter when you leave, which is nice, but also a bit inefficient. This place is fairly small, and there were just a few tables. I'm guessing a lot of patrons must take their orders to go. Overall, this was a pleasant spot for lunch. read more

Boulevard went down hill over the years. They used to be great, but on my last sub I got moldy tomatoes. After picking them off, the sub, a California Cheese steak, was simply not good. I'm not sure if they changed owners or what, but they are nowhere as good as they used to be. It's a shame, as they are right next to the beer store. We used Carryout Courier to have this food delivered. Their stromboli came juicy with a crisp crust, slightly more garlic salt than I like across the buttered top, but thickly piled meats and cheeses inside made up for it. The pizza is good, thick, and also came with a liberal amount of garlic salt. We use garlic salt in some incantations to contain cryptoids that are allergic to both. I think Boulevard must use the apothecary shop we use. While not overwhelming, it does distract slightly from the overall taste of the meat and cheeses. We've also picked up from the location, which is conveniently next door to a great beer store. The quality differs order to order, we've noticed - not much better or worse, but each time, it was like a slightly different recipe or process was used to make the same item. Sometimes less garlic, sometimes more. Sometimes there's an onion flavor on the cheesesteak from the grill and other times not (not an onion fan). But it isn't cheap, uniform pizza like you'd expect from a shop trained in one way to make a few items. If you're a beer and pizza person like me, it's definitely worth stopping by to pick up some craft beers next door and some hot, fresh pizza or subs. read more

I've eaten here a few times before and the food has always been good. *Tonight we saw the children's menu at the bottom of the menu online and got my daughter a chicken fingers and fries. **We were so surprised to see that a toy came with her meal! It was old school balloon rockets that we all just got a kick out of! That above and beyond Boulevard went to will have us as repeat customers from now on. Wow I had such a great experience at Boulevard Pizza. I live in New York and have had my fair share of incredible pizza, but Boulevard blew them out of the water! I ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza and they were cut from a pie straight out of the oven. The cheese is not cheap and oily like most pizza shops and the dough is fresh and they use a good amount of flour so the bottom doesn't burn. You can tell the family that owns this pizza shop takes great pride in their food and overall cleanliness which is greatly appreciated during a pandemic. I only had the pizza but they have a variety of options and specialty pizzas that look incredible. I can't wait to try something new next time I'm in town! read more

We are regulars at the beer distributor next door and you cant help but to wander where that amazing smell is coming from. We finally stopped by and honestly everything looked great and fresh. I got the chicken parm and fries. I need to visit again tbh. I'm a big fan of chicken parm sandwiches and had some of the best so I feel like I wasnt amazed. The fries were fresh and oh so good! So how many Boulevard Pizza employees does it take to complete one small dinner order? At least three apparently since we were greeted at the cash register by one woman who asked us our order, but being unfamiliar with the menu we weren't ready to tell her. She leaves for the back kitchen never to return. Then there were two other gentlemen in the front prepping what looked like bread (perhaps pizza dough?) and so we were blatantly ignored by both of them as they rushed about and walked right past us for approximately 15 mins. Now, had I been alone I would just walked out the door, but since I wasn't I decided to play this out. Eventually, the one guy realized that we weren't standing near the register for our health (or to rob them) and asked if we had been helped. We responded, "No", and the rest is the usual dinning experience. My suggestion: only use this location for pick up, not for dine in. read more

It is CV time. Called in a pie to pick up. Opened the door and was surprised that they had a table set up right beside the door so that I had to pass within inches of another customer waiting for takeout. Zero social distancing. My margarita pie was to have tomato, mozz, garlic, basil & olive oil. Much to my surprise, it was soaked in a balsamic vinegar glaze. When I order take out, it is supposed to be what is on he menu. I have been here several times I usually order wings and they are absolutely the beat wings I have had since I moved to Harrisburg. The aren't little wing dings that most restaurants give you they are BIG full wings and the sauces are all really good but my favorite is deff the honey bourbon bbq hands down!! I recommend boulevard pizza anytime someone has asked about wings . I also really love their pizza !! But wings hold a special place in my heart lol. Third time here after having a good stromboli initially. 2nd time ordered a pizza and boli and was told 20 minutes. Came 30 minutes later and they hadn't even started order, I left. Decided to give another shot because I had to run to Breskis on my lunch break. Guy on phone was rude as hell. I asked for a California chicken cheese steak and he said rudely and in a condescending manner "what do you want on it?". Umm same thing that's on every other california chicken cheesteak I've ever had. Picked up, another rude employee. The eggplant parmesan sub was great; the rolls are baked there onsite. They actually drained/pressed the eggplant to remove the bitterness then didn't over-bread it. The eggplant was not deep-fried but grilled--all in all, superior. The pizza crust was just the right consistency--not really chewy or bready, and with enough crunch. The pizza side is somewhat small with beer/soda coolers lining both walls. The pizza place adjoins "Mugs", a tavern, which handles the dine-in aspect. We were there on a Sunday afternoon when staffing was minimal, but our server took care of our many requests, and he was attentive and responsive throughout. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned the next day for california cheese steak. When I went to pay for my order and pickup my sub I was told that they were out of tomatoes. I like tomatoes so I was disappointed.They should have told me before I placed my order that they were out of tomatoes. Felt like I was scammed.
