Stopped into Boulevard Bagel amidst my shopping escapades in Sugar Land this weekend. Never heard of it, never seen it, just saw bagel and was like absolutely!! Upon entering, the space is so welcoming and lively. Plenty of live plants and inviting decor. The bagel case was stocked and all looked super fresh! I ordered the Jalapeño Bagel with Texas Hot Cream Cheese and the gf ordered Blueberry with plain cream cheese. Both were absolutely delicious and they do not skimp on the cream cheese. The Texas Hot was super delicious, not crazy spicy, but just the right amount of kick and flavor!! We will definitely be coming back whenever I'm passing though in Sugar Land!! read more

I've always loved the bagels here and usually stop by at least once a week on my way to work. The young man at the register is consistently friendly and great. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. The woman preparing the food was very rude. While I was waiting, she nodded me over as if my order was ready. When I took the bag and opened my meal in my car I realized it wasn't my order. When I went back to let her know, she snapped at me, asking why I was taking something that wasn't mine--even though she had clearly indicated it was ready for me. The interaction was unpleasant enough that I chose to cancel my order and request a refund. The cashier apologized, which I appreciated, but the situation had already left a bad impression. I hope management addresses this, as the food and other staff are usually great. read more

The bagels are the best I have ever had! So soft and flavorful. We got the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on their jalapeño bagel, and egg and cheese on a plain bagel, and steak, egg, and cheese with caramelized onions on an everything bagel. The fresh squeezed orange juice was so refreshing. The service was wonderful as well. Will definitely come back! read more

Boulevard Bagel has quickly become my go-to for breakfast. While I'll admit the sandwiches can be a little light on the eggs, it's still far and away the best local bagel and sandwich shop around. The bagels have that perfect chew, the toppings are always fresh, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The vibe adds to the experience too, the plants and greenery give the space such a warm, inviting feel in the mornings. This place exceeded my expectations. Was it small inside? Yes, but they made up for it in their food. I loved my loc sandwich and despite the small location I did have a place to sit, enjoy my food and work for a bit. The service was excellent, line was moving fast and the parking was free. 1 bagel, 2 muffins, 2 hot chocolates, 1 mocha latte over took 20 minutes because the cashier and the hot drink preparer were the one in the same. There was only two people in front of me and as more people showed up he took orders instead of taking care of those that were waiting on hot drinks. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now as I love bagel shops. The inside of the restaurant is very cute and has plenty of seating. I love supporting local businesses and I loved that this one was family owned. I personally did not love the onion bagel but I picked it so that is on me. The portion sizes are a little small for a $8 bagel sandwich. I thought everything else was good but personally I have had better bagels in Houston. I will definitely be back to try a classic version. Definitely worth a try if you are in Sugarland! read more

For the price ($9-12) I hoped the bagels would be bigger but they seem to be smaller than average sized bagels. The bagel I got was also pretty flavorless and dry on the inside (possibly store bought?), although the Bacon, Egg, Cheese flavor was OK. I saw this place while driving by and decided to check it out. Not that I wish I was still in school, but if I was this would have been a great place to study. They have a nice ambiance of plants, high chairs that overlooks outside. It has food and coffee to help you focus on your task. Came on Labor Day and glad they were open on this holiday. Cute small place. I enjoyed my lox bagel on jalapeño bagel with a latte and my daughter had the sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Yum! If you like a Salmon Nova Lox bagel this should be your go to place. The cream cheese salmon and bagel ratio were just right. My husband tried the Krispy burger which he said was just ok. We also got a breakfast one w egg sausage and cheese on sun dried tomato bagel to "save for later". Had a bite though and I must say the bagel itself is delicious! The sausage was also really flavorful without being greasy. The bagels are chewy and a pleasing texture. A little pricey but a nice treat for breakfast or lunch. Recommend for sure! read more

I would have to rank these as some of the best bagels I have ever eaten. Stopped by one morning for a little treat and decided to get Lexington Lite sandwich. I chose the sundried tomato bagel and fillings included deli turkey meat, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. The fillings were fairly standard. Turkey meat was a little salty and that paired quite well with the cream cheese and bagel. Of course the red onions provided that burst we all expect without being too overpowering. The real star was of course the sun dried tomato bagel. I must admit that the actual sun dried tomato flavor got lost in the midst of everything, but the texture of the bagel made up for it all. It was soft. It was slightly crispy. It was chewy. And it was sturdy enough to hold everything in. Price was a little on the steep side but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Interior of the shop is small and quaint with lots of u ique decorations inside. There is seating inside and out (if you dare during a Houston summer). read more

I love coming to Boulevard bagel! I usually order by calling ahead and placing my order over the phone and it's always hot and ready when I get there 10ish minutes later. My most recent favorite item to order here is a bacon egg and cheese on a jalapeño bagel. The jalapeño bagel is superior in my opinion and has the perfect amount of spice. The ambiance is so beautiful but kind of small. It's actually very lovely. But The service is okay. It was my first time I was given a menu with little to no recommendations. Overall good food, average service, and dirty restrooms. I got a hot chocolate and jalapeño bagel. The jalapeño bagel was great because unlike other places, the jalapeño was cut into little pieces so that every bite had the flavor of a jalapeño. The cream cheese was very light and good. The hot chocolate also tasted good, nothing too special. This is a great place to study as they have wifi. The reason I am deducting stars is because the bathroom was pretty dirty, paper towels were all over the floor, the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, overall not very clean. read more

I stumbled across this place by accident and I'm happy I did. It's at the very end of the shopping strip so it's kind of hidden. The ambience is so calming and serene with the jazz music playing. It's a very quiet and chill space to start your morning. I ordered the everything bagel with Texas hot spread and a toffee nut latte. The bagel was pretty good pretty average nothing crazy. The workers are super nice, and I got the Japanese brown rice milk tea with crystal boba and a small soup. Both were super good! My friends went with their protein shakes, and they were pretty good as well! Definitely a good change from a normal protein drink. It is the only place in Sugar Land of its kind, which is a perfect reason to check it out. The atmosphere is laid back with the kind of chill vibe that anyone in a cafe would particularly enjoy. Usually they have music playing in the background and on a day-to-day basis people lounging around and using the Wi-Fi or playing board games. It all starts with their specialty coffees, the Rang series of Vietnamese coffee brewed drinks. The Rang cafe den da is simply black coffee, but folks who want something a little sweeter should go with their signature Rang cafe sua da. My personal choice typically is the super sua da, which comes with an added punch in addition to the sweetness. Their bac xiu is another specialty drink that is worth everyone's time, and comes heated or iced. Just as their social name (#1) suggests, they serve "phin" caffeinated beverages, in addition to smoothies and a good variety of matcha based drinks. They also have a limited food selection of mainly pastries, which includes croissants and even banh bao. Prices are pretty standard for most drinks, but the food might be a little bit more than what some folks are used to. There are ultra popular Vietnamese coffee places in the Chinatown area, but Rang reigns supreme in Sugar Land. As for drinks, the pumpkin latte was good (might be seasonal) and Mango Graham Cloud are very tasty. I will say the food and drinks here are very rich and you will be (overly) stuffed after you're done. Maybe I'm just too old to be eating this frequently now, but that won't stop me from craving it.
