Neil is great to work with!! This place has great Customer Service and are easy to deal with. i bought a brand new boat and the first time we took it out the bunk came off the trailer. Friday evening after hours and Neil was a call away. he worked thru me storing the boat on the water overnight and had his service team all set up in the AM to repair it. Terrible experience! I would never recommend this company. Their service department never returns calls, repairs take too long and they are not very knowledgeable. They installed the wrong parts drilling holes in my new boat to do so. When someone spends this kind of money you expect top notch service. The cherry on top, they do not have the new boat that I want. Found one out of state, however, if i purchase this very expensive boat they will not even service it. I don't even comfortable leaving my boat at their dealership because it located in one of the worst neighborhoods in Mesa, AZ Please keep away from this place, unqualified, unprofessional and things go missing. Absolutely worst experience and most unprofessional experience with that large of a purchase. We recently purchased a brand new 2019 chaparral Vortex. Our first question was if there was a place to have warranty work done close to live since we lived in So Cali. They assured us there was. Once we need warranty work done we found out Closest place was Henderson Nevada at the other location. Person in charger work pretty much gave up hekping us. 1st Trip to Havasu are wakeboard tower almost flew off. When looking into the problem we found that it was not put together correctly and the wrong hardware was used.have finished. This cost us $1600 out of pocket. This is something the dealership definitely installed. Our upgraded stereo was never finished bring installed and we had to take it to local shop to have finished. This cost us $1600 out of pocket. After 2 months we still havnt received our resignation. After contacting dmv found the paper work was never sent in. After multiple excuses and everyone including the general manager Dustin we received our tags. After talking with multiple we have met while on the lake seems we aren't only ones to have problems with this dealership. When looking for a boat stay clear of Boulder boats. read more

DO IT! - Let me say first; this was my first ever boat purchase, and it couldn't have gone any better! Finding The Boat: The whole team at Boulder Boats is amazing, we first met with Ben who showed us a few boats we had found on their website (man.. do they have a selection!) - we ended up going with a different one than the ones we found online, and Ben was super knowledgeable about the boat and made sure we understood what we were looking at! (Wasn't a pushy salesman at all, a HUGE plus). Financing: Ending up liking it so much, that that same day we called back to get the ball rolling, and that process was seamless and simple from deposit to financing! Brittanie who helped us secure the financing, was fast, polite and very easy to work with! The Lake Test: Dusty was AMAZING at showing us first time boat owners the ropes, (seriously, if not for him we pry wouldn't have done as well as we did on the lake, the next day!) Super patient and very knowledgeable - almost like he has owned the very same model! He was in no rush, and answered all my questions in detail. - A little mishap where a bunk broke on the trailer after we got onto the water, however, Dusty was able to rig it to get it back to the shop, in which THEY FIXED IT THAT SAME DAY! About 1 hour from store closing, a gentleman from the service team came in while we were signing documents and said "ill get working on it" and not much later said it was already hook up on our truck! - Joelyn helped us sign all the necessary paper work, quickly, & professionally! She was able to provide us with a great insurance option from Global Marine, which was wonderful due to Allstate causing a huge mess, and she had a quick fix, which wasn't too much off in price anyway! Ben had even thrown in some (used) life jackets so we could at least get on the water for a full day before having to bring the boat back to Boulder Boats for a few things we needed fixed (we knew about the split seams in the seats before buying) which he really went out of his way to do for us! After a full day on our first boat, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, what a beauty, everything ran perfect, no issues! - Only one little thing with the left side speakers not working (seems like a wire may have came loose, no biggy) which we didn't notice on the Lake Test the day before - however, texted Ben and he told me he'd definitely look into it for me! Over all my experience with Boulder Boats was out of this world, not once was I hesitant due to any staff or seemed like I was being tricked/forced into buying a boat! Blown away by the service department. Brought our 07 Tige RZ2 in after it decided to start overheating and having some crazy electrical issues. Having looked through a few things ourselves we were pretty convinced this was going to be a very log and expensive fix. We were able to schedule an appointment the same week we called and let them know we had a trip coming up in two weeks. (We called almost every other shop in the valley and they were 3-5 weeks before they could even look at it) Boulder had it fixed the same day of the appointment, cleaned it all up for us at no extra cost and we were back to shredding on Saturday. MY review is 4 star.... I purchased a new boat from Boulder Boats in Mesa AZ. Most of our correspondence was via email and phone, as I live in Colorado. The transaction went very smooth! The sales person was very diligent in getting my financing options that worked for me. I also had a trade in. I scheduled the time and date to drive to Boulder Boats and complete the transaction (trade in and take delivery of the new boat.) This process was also very smooth. The sales, service, finance department, and even the store manager were all very attentive to me while I was finishing up the process. On the drive home, 2 cupholder inserts blew off the boat, I informed the dealer and they were very prompt to send replacement. I only rated 4 star, because after the trip home, I noticed loose screws and bolts on various items on the boat and trailer. These items are all something that should have been looked at prior to me taking delivery. Minor items to me, as I was able to correct them properly on my own. I met their sales person in the show room and told him I was looking for a used, lower-end wake board boat in the $20-$30k range. He got a very strange look on his face and he said that I'd be looking more in the Mid to upper $30's a least. I told him I saw a great boat at another dealer nearby and was looking to see what Boulder had. In a very In-your-face, a**hole tone, his response was "Well why don't you buy that boat then" . I took my 2008 Monterey Deck Boat to Boulder because I have a broken windshield that needs replaced. Because Monterey put a low profile specially ordered window on my boat in the first place, there is no "easy replacement" as the windshield manufacturer has no info on the window. The dealer must measure the window in place, remove the window and create a complete pattern of the fiberglass mounting deck and then send everything to the manufacturer for a custom built windshield. They will replace the entire wrap around because they cannot match the "custom work" they did 10 years ago. Before Boulder, I worked with a marina in far east Mesa which is the new Monterey dealer and "assumed" going to the brand dealer would be advantageous. The dealer was 31 miles from my house and due to "delays" or "other work" in the shop, I took the boat out there and back twice without the window ever getting even a glance. Needless to say, I contacted Boulder, in particular Philip and he bent over backwards to get my boat in, measured, and back to me so I could use it on the weekend. While the boat was there, I was communicating with the insurance company about the accident and how my brakes were "acting up" on the trailer. Progressive contacted Boulder without my knowledge and instructed them to repair the brakes. While this was NOT part of the original service appointment, the service team diagnosed and repaired my brakes. I worried that the extra time would put their shop behind and I was told not to worry, "it's here, lets fix it instead of you needing to bring it back". WOW, what a refreshing change over the other dealer. I picked up the boat when they said it would be ready and was pleasantly surprised they had completely cleaned it. The cleaning is their standard operating procedure for any service, from a small repair to a major issue, all boats leave clean. One of the impressive things about Boulder is they actually have a "run tank" where they can put your boat into a pool of water and run the engine to test it. I have been to multiple dealers in the valley and this is the only run tank I have ever seen. There may be others, but none that I am aware of existing. I would highly recommend this dealer's service department. Everyone I met at Boulder was helpful, customer focused and more than willing to work with me to make me happy. Good customer service starts at the top so I would expect every aspect of Boulder Boats to be as top notch as their service group in Mesa. read more

I've been a boat owner all my life, from family boats to owning my own. I've had my fair share of shops that I've worked with and swore I'd never go back. Not Boulder Boats though. I didn't buy my boat there (California), but Philip and Ryan have been extremely helpful and have earned my trust and loyalty with thoughtful service and exceeding my expectations every step of the way. When I had a list of questions about my boat/engine, they were happy to answer every single one and even provide thoughts and consideration for things I didn't ask about. Philip even sent videos of my boat running in the bay after being worked on. He was also available for video troubleshooting when I was stranded on the lake once. Very friendly and they make good deals. at least you think they do. after spending $85,000 on a used cruiser, and not haggling over the price one bit. didn't argue about the price they gave for my trade. even paid an extra $2000 for repairs my trade needed after they dropped my trade price once already on me. nope. just wanted my new boat, so i did what they asked me to. after being in my new boat a couple weeks, i noticed the battery charger didn't work. i informed them of the issue, and they were not too concerned about it. after complaining for a month, i finally paid someone to replace it. that cost me another $650. when we 1st got the boat, i noticed the ac wasn't very cold. just assumed that was how they work. until i boarded other peoples boats and noticed theirs were cold. so, i called an ac tech out. they showed me someone replaced the compressor and didn't flush the system, so there was junk in all the lines and clogged it up again. ok, not i need to pay another $4000 to fix that. great!!! i told boulder about it, and got a read receipt but no response. should have argued about the price a bit. hind sight. i will never go there again, and recommend to anyone else considering going there, should think twice. i understand i bought a boat as is. but these are things no one would have noticed while just looking at the boat, prior to making the purchase. talked with dustin today. i honestly think if i had talked to him when my batteries went dead, everything would have been taken care of, and none of the other problems would have ever even been mentioned. read more

I went into Boulder Boats looking for my first wakeboard boat. I can't say how impressed I was with everyone I dealt with, from the sales guys to the manager and service department. They didn't pressure me at all and just gave me all the information that I needed. A few weeks after I bought it I had a minor repair I needed, and they squeezed me in, totally on my schedule, so that I wouldn't "miss any lake time" as they put it. I then destroyed a prop, totally my fault, and they ordered one for me and had it for me the next day. Purchased a new Chaparral Vortex and had issues with both engines within 2 to 3 operating hours on each the first day on the water (port engine actually had an cable harness issue prior to purchase). Three stars for the functional hours and the days back in the shop so far to try to address the issues. The engine problems are more a reflection on Chaparral and the Rotax motors installed in the boat, however how long it takes to get it back falls into customer service. A few hours on the water on the first day is extremely disappointing especially considering the cost. The Boulder Boats Mesa staff are pleasant and for the most part responsive...given all the problems, I would've expected some contact from management. The technician I've spoke with gives me high confidence that all the issues will be resolved. read more
