Steve saw the truck the very next day, was super thorough with his analysis, and spent 30 minutes afterward with me discussing what he found and his recommendations. Ultimately he recommended against purchasing the vehicle for several reasons, and gave suggestions as to how and where to look going forward. As soon as I pulled up, a young man came to my window and asked if I in came for emissions. He said it would be $20 in cash, and to give him five minutes. I handed him the cash and my keys. He immediately drove the car to the garage. I waited outside for around five minutes. Then he returned with a report that said "pass". I was good to go. On my way home, I noticed my check engine light was on, it was not on when I arrived at the shop. However, after a short drive down the road it went away on its own. They clearly explained the work needed..in my case a ck engine light was flashing on my daughters 2014 Nissan Pathfinder and while suspecting the catalytic converter they suggested a tuneup first hoping that would solve the problem w/o having to replace the converter. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.

I had my three kids with me. Took a while to get the car in, and there are windows so you can watch the techs work. There was no urgency. It was a bunch of kids hanging out with their friends eating snacks. Two hours later the tires were finally replaced. Then the hood was up. I went to the counter and asked what was going on...their reply was, a "complimentary full service check." I told them to back the car out, we're leaving. The alignment was never checked.
