    Padded Chaise Lounges and Umbrella

I called Boucher Brothers first and we're just giving Clear directions to their set up on the beach. Also suggestion as to where to park which was very helpful. When we arrived, the process for renting two chaises and an umbrella was very quick and we were set up on the beach within minutes. As a first time visitor to South Beach, Miami it was great to have shade and a comfortable place to sit on the beach.

What good prices and service. They definitely keep you comfy and shaded at the beach. When you go to Hollywood beach stop by the stand in front of famous Nicks Bar and Grill and you will definitely be taking care of by Mauricio or George. This is located only a couple of stores from Margaritaville and the concert stage. Have fun in the sun!!

Better oversight of employees, It seems they have a problem knowing the cost of umbrellas at The Marriott Beach Towers timeshare policy. I was surprised when they tried to charge double the cost of what we were quoted by Marriott. It was not a misunderstanding It was stated to us 3 times especially when we were paying in cash. The beach was beautiful and we did have a wonderful time. Here is a picture of our neighbors who shared the beach with us. I was unable to start a conversation with them because we didn't want to disturb them they were sleeping most of the time.

Since we're staying at the Esmé Hotel, 2 chairs plus towels are supposed to be included at the 14th St location; however, it's $20 for the umbrella rental. When we arrived on Sunday, February 27, there were NO towels, but they did have chair covers available. Once the towels arrived within an hour or two, we requested them. I do have to admit Anthony C. & Justin B. provided 5 star service; however they need to be given the tools to do their job, i.e. chair covers and towels. They were beyond attentive and helpful, checking on us every so often. We even felt safe leaving our belongings to take a dip in the ocean. Today, Tuesday, March 1, we arrived around 11am and it wasn't even half as busy as Sunday was, but again NO towels available and NO chair covers. The service was not as good as Sunday either. There is one worker running around like crazy helping people while 2 people work in the stand, one of whom has been on his cellphone since we arrived. He said his coworker didn't show up for work today. All in all, highly recommend them for a comfortable beach experience though!

Sitting in the 2nd row of loungers with a view of the sand. About 30 ft (or more) in front of me are the day beds, $100/day.

Two lounge chairs were included with our resort fee at the Tony Hotel, otherwise I would never rent from this company. The loungers are set far away from the ocean, and you're not allowed to move them past the front row (closest to the ocean). Even the front row is set far back and doesn't have a good view of the ocean. If you want a view, you have to pay $100 for a day bed. Day beds are about 15 feet in front of the first row. I called their office and asked why customers are unable to move the chairs themselves closer to the ocean. Their reasoning, according to one manager, is that if one person moves a chairs closer, everyone will request the same. I completely understand not wanting to overwork the attendants, but if a customer moves a chair him/herself, that shouldn't be an issue. At the very least, place all rows of loungers closer to the days beds and thus closer to the ocean. People don't spend their hard-earned money to come on vacation for views of the sand. The company is also not consistent with its purported "rules"--it seems to depend on the attendants working on a given day. I stayed at the same hotel in January of this year and the Boucher Brothers' attendants didn't care if folks moved their loungers closer. And can you even believe there wasn't mass chaos and that most people didn't even move their chairs? Shocking. I understand the need for rules and policies; dumb rules, I do not. Let the attendants use common sense. Let customers enjoy the beach. Keep the corporate nonsense out of it.

Live you best life with chairs, umbrellas and towels

Took a spontaneous trip to the beach and we had nothing. We rented 3 chairs and an umbrellas. It $70 credit card or $66 cash. The line moved quickly which was wonderful. They got us set up in the chairs right away and gave us two towels. We waited a few minutes for the umbrella but it was a busy day so no complaints.

This is the gentleman who was blatantly rude and disrespectful.

I had the worst encounter today with a Boucher Brothers Beach employee. My boyfriend and I came to South beach on vacation, were from MD. We didn't realize the chairs were for rent but it wasn't an issue at all. We noticed other beach goers just dropping their stuff off and heading to the ocean. A Hispanic gentleman who wouldn't give me his name when I asked came up to us, asking if we had paid. My boyfriend explained that we were unaware and told him we were happy to pay the fee. The man then yelled it was $65 and then walked away from us. When I said "excuse me sir" he looked at me, rolled his eyes and walked away. We are staying at the Koch hotel which I learned gets the chairs for free anyways upon registration. However the gentleman wouldn't stop being rude enough for us to get that information from him. The worst customer service ever. I've never felt more disrespected especially over $65 that we were happy to pay. I am beyond frustrated. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Then after he sent two of his associates I assume he manages to come and haggle us more in regard to the chairs. One of the gentlemen said he understood the situation but he bods was making them come down and speak to us again.

It was established in 1896 and began with a pavilion and green space used for sports activities. The park was also used for political and religious gatherings near the railroad tracks and tidal marshes. In 1922, the city constructed a retaining wall to create a formal park. Warren Manning, who had worked for Frederick Law Olmsted Sr., was commissioned for the design. The 62-acre park officially opened in March 1925 and included pathways, tropical landscaping, and a wide pedestrian promenade that extended from East Flagler Street to the bay. The 1926 hurricane destroyed much of the park. A year later, the city installed a bandshell, a grotto, and a rock garden on the waterfront. During World War II, the U.S. Navy took over the park and used it as part of its critical operations in the area. In 1943, the Navy installed the Dade County War Memorial. The military returned the park to the city in 1950, but it was in a battered state. The city built a library that blocked the view of the bay, and the following two decades saw little investment in the park. In 1980, the City of Miami approved a budget of $10 million to redesign the park. Famous Japanese-American modernist artist and landscape architect Isamu Noguchi was chosen for the task. His inspiration was to create a village green for downtown Miami. He convinced the city to remove the R.C. Gardner Bandshell, which had fallen into disrepair, as well as the library, and to restore Manning's pedestrian promenade. His plan also called for adding new amphitheaters and a large fountain at the end of a promenade flowing from East Flagler Street. The busts and statues of Hispanic leaders were relocated to an area outside the park. Eventually, the project ballooned to more than $40 million, much of it paid for through grants. Noguchi passed away during the construction of the park, but the torch was passed to his longtime collaborator, Shoji Sadao, who carried out his plans and vision. Today, Bayfront Park is maintained by the Bayfront Park Management Trust, a limited agency of the City of Miami. It is smaller than when it originally opened and currently encompasses 32 acres. A highlight of the park is its stunning views of Biscayne Bay. The park is also a culturally important outdoor museum, with art and monuments that add beauty and historical perspective. The Dade County War Memorial was restored in the 1990s, and there are statues honoring Claude D. Pepper and Julia Tuttle, the "Mother of Miami." The park still contains all of the major elements of the Noguchi plan, including the centerpiece fountain, although it is currently closed for repairs. It also features the Lee and Tina Hills Playground, open lawn spaces, a sandy beach area, the tropical rock garden, and the historic waterfall from 1926. A visit to downtown Miami would not be complete without a stop at Bayfront Park. The park is within walking distance of attractions such as the Freedom Tower, Bayside Marketplace, Kaseya Center, Museum Park, and numerous restaurants and entertainment venues. If there is a downside, it is that parking in downtown Miami is scarce and expensive. I have attended many outdoor concerts here through the years, and it is also the site of the popular Ultra Music Festival every March. In June, the park will host the FIFA Fan Festival when Miami welcomes the World Cup. A recent visit found me admiring the many sculptures throughout the park. Bayfront Park is still evolving, and future plans call for new lighting, a café, and additional redesign elements. Known as "Miami's Front Porch," it remains a vital outdoor oasis of green space for residents of the surrounding towers and visitors to the city alike.
