Very unprofessional customer service experience. When I arrived to rent a jet ski, I was informed…read morethat I had to complete a boating safety test. My issue was not with the requirement itself, but with the fact that nobody mentioned it when I initially inquired about renting. Had I known beforehand, I could have prepared accordingly. The test contained technical boating questions that many people with little or no boating experience would not reasonably know. When I asked why this requirement had not been disclosed earlier, the employee's response was to call me "crazy" rather than provide a professional explanation. I was also told about a mandatory 10% tip before I had even booked the jet ski or received any service. Being presented with a required tip upfront, combined with the lack of communication about the boating test, felt misleading and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with respect when asking legitimate questions. A simple explanation would have gone a long way. the lack of unprofessional behavior left a very negative impression of this company brand of jetski rentals. Do not recommend.

My brother and I dove with Pura Vida Divers last week, and unfortunately it was one of the worst…read moredive experiences I've had -- and I've dove many times all over the world. Before booking, we were very clear that we were relatively new divers and had never done a drift dive. We specifically expressed that we wanted to feel safe and properly supported. We were assured it would be fine, but once we were in the water, the support simply wasn't there. There was very little help with weights at the start. I quickly realized I was underweighted and had to go back and get more, which immediately separated me from the group. From there, things only got worse. I ended up alone on the reef during a drift -- something that should never happen -- and ultimately had to surface solo and wait for the boat by myself. To make matters worse, my surface marker/flag device wouldn't inflate properly, and I had to be picked up alone. At no point did I feel like anyone from the team was proactively ensuring I was safe or accounted for. Afterward, the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry you had a bad experience." That was the extent of the support. The diving itself may be beautiful, but the staff's lack of attentiveness and concern for client safety and experience was deeply disappointing. When newer divers communicate nervousness and inexperience with drift diving, that should be taken seriously -- not brushed aside. This wasn't about conditions or bad luck. It was about a lack of care and leadership. I would not recommend this operation to newer divers, and I left feeling unsettled rather than excited about the dive.

He took extra care with our son being patient and repetitive until he mastered the safety skills. Katie helped out mama bear with breathing and buoyancy. Hubby was previously certified and did his refresher alongside us. He also picked out our gear like a kid in a candy store. I've wanted to do a paddle boarding eco tour for a while now. After a lot of research I found one…read morethat I was happy with at South Florida Paddle. Why you ask? I would say my biggest reason was location. The location (Lake Worth Lagoon/Munyon Island) is a preserved area and really shows you what Florida looked like before it was overly populated. Once you are out on the lagoon you feel cut off from the world which is awesome, especially since you are only separated by some mangrove trees. After I decided the location I contacted SFP and spoke to Marissa. I let her know I was organizing a large group of us to go out (12 of us in total) and she not only gave us an awesome group discount but she set up a private link so everyone could pay separately and only the people in my group could access it! One great tip I will give you is that the meet up location is just past Macarthur Beach Park and it is on the east side (left) of the road. It is not a building it is just the road. You will see the truck and trailer with all the paddle boards as your clue. Parking is free! Another good tip is to wear swim shoes if you have them. Not necessarily for the paddle boarding but for when you take your break on Munyon Island. The beach is pretty rocky and it's an untouched island so if you want to explore it a little, having shoes would be ideal. I actually found a hermit crab as soon as we landed but wished I remembered my swim shoes so I could have explored the island more (next time for sure!). Marissa our guide also provided us with water during our break. She really knows a lot about the area and I think we all learned a lot about the island and the animals on land and in the sea around us. It is really something you have to experience for yourself to really appreciate it. After a short review on safety and some tips on how to properly paddle board we went out one by one, out on the lagoon, such a beautiful view I might add. The day was perfect as well not a cloud in the sky. I have been on a paddle board before but many people in my group have never been. Some were fairly nervous but soon realized that it wasn't that hard to do and felt confident fairly quickly. It was great to see everyone working together as a team, and despite only a few falls in the water lol, I think everyone did awesome and had a great time. We saw a dolphin, sting rays, flying fish and some cool birds while we were out. It was definitely an amazing day! They also offer night time tours and many others so they have a lot to choose from. I am already thinking about the next tour to book! Maybe one of the LED night time guided Full Moon tours! If you are looking for something different and want a unique way to learn more about the area and just want something FUN to do then go paddle boarding! Trust me it's great for beginners and you will not regret this amazing experience of being out on the water so close to nature.

Eco-Friendly Boating Bliss on Peanut Island…read more I recently had the absolute best day exploring Peanut Island and the Riviera Beach area in an electric Tritoon from Vision Marine! My group and I rented a 20-foot Tritoon model from Bluewater Boat Rental in Riviera Beach. From the moment we stepped onto this technologically advanced electric boat, we were amazed. It was super quiet with zero engine noise or exhaust fumes. The electric motor provided a smooth, peaceful ride. We cruised over to Peanut Island and were able to get close to shore in the shallow waters thanks to the Tritoon's propulsion system. We anchored the boat near the island and enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the calm, clear waters. Later, we took the boat across the inlet to Sailfish Marina Restaurant. Pulling up to the dock on this futuristic electric vessel felt so cool. We had a great lunch on the waterfront before heading back. Renting this electric Vision Marine boat completely enhanced our experience out on the water. The quiet ride and zero emissions made it easy to relax and focus on soaking up the Florida sunshine and scenery. An eco-friendly way to enjoy boating - I'll definitely be back!
