Richie, the attendant is fantastic, he is customer driven and will help you set up, readjust your chairs and umbrella and always has a cheerful greeting! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The pricing seems to be pretty standard and reasonable, and it's nice on vacation to not have to worry about anything other than showing up to the beach and being able to have your loungers and umbrella set up for you. Extremely Disappointing Experience with Oceanside Beach Service-- Jensen Beach Florida My family and I have vacationed at Vistana's Beach Club for over 15 years. There's a small alcove where past guests leave beach toys and chairs for others to use--we've always appreciated this and have even left a few things behind ourselves for other people to use. Today, when my daughter and I picked up a boogie board from that spot, a woman named Kelly, running Oceanside Beach Service ran up and accused us of stealing. Despite calmly explaining we thought the beach items were there for everyone to use and bring back, she called me a thief and said she "matches energies with people like me." Her son later apologized on her behalf, but the interaction was unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. We had planned to rent chairs and umbrellas, but after that encounter, we chose not to. I really like this service. Is it absolutely necessary? No. But it makes the beach experience just so much easier and more pleasant. You get 2 nice beach loungers, an umbrella, and a small table, all set up for you and ready to go. They are all just sitting there when you get to the beach. Just plop your stuff down on an empty seat and it's yours. There's almost always a seat available, even during the busiest times. There are several yearly pricing options available...unlimited, 20 days, 10 days, and also daily or hourly. Update: Our family lives local in Deerfield Beach and we have a long history of Oceanside Beach Service membership. In January 2021 I posted about poor customer treatment when my wife and baby were rudely evicted from their beach chairs at 4:00pm on a weekday by a surly attendant. I learned recently that rude employee no longer works for the company and Joshua, the new Deerfield Beach manager, kindly asked if I could update this post to confirm that he had nothing to do with that prior incident. I am happy to confirm that Joshua, whom is very pleasant, was not the surly individual that ruined the day in 2021 and we continue to have a membership for their services. That said.... Joshua, now that you manage Deerfield Beach can you please tell your guys to not take down the umbrellas and the seating (and definitely don't remove peoples personal belongings from the tables and chairs) when a family happens to be taking a swim when your guys come by. You have a self-service business model that we really appreciate but your guys can't just break everything down just because they didn't come around during the first 20 minutes or so that a family uses to set up before jumping into the water. It's very unsettling to come out of the water with your family after a refreshing swim on a hot summer day only to find that all of your personal belongings been put back in your beach wagon and the chairs and umbrellas literally removed. After hunting around we found the guy who was working that area - and I'm happy to report once again that it was NOT you and he happily put everything back together -- but our now 4-year old (yes the same one from the 2021 incident) is still talking about the man that moved all of her beach toys and took down her beach umbrella while she was swimming. read more

Spent the past week in Deerfield Beach and had a great time at the beach each day. Richie and his co-worker were wonderful. Richie is such a cheerful person and always greeted our family with a smile and pleasant words. I observed him each day, he works hard, setting up the umbrellas and chairs, in addition to keeping track of the money and receipts. This is second time on Deerfield beach using the ocean side service . Everything was very comfortable and clean the person in charge Joshua was very nice and attentive. We used this service at Delray Beach. It was $40 for the day or $10 an hour for 2 chairs and an umbrella. This was twice the amount I paid in south beach for the same goods. These chairs are also very old and rusty, with narrow seats. The umbrella does not have the ability to angle the top, instead making you move your chairs to stay within the shade throughout the day. Service was good. They quickly found us when we arrived and you can by cash or card with a text message receipt. They just really need to upgrade the chairs and umbrellas, especially if they are charging those prices. read more

What a horrible business model. There are no signs about their "services." The employees wait for you to sit down for a few minutes, they finish vaping, then approach you with a clip board and say you have to pay money to stay in their chair. So off putting. Had annual pass. Was told first come first served. Could not reserve. One day we show up no told our normal set up was not available. Yet there were two set ups empty and no towels or anything sitting around area. The attendant told us they were reserved. I said I thought it was first come first served. The attendant then said they were being held for a handicapped person. Said they were parking their car. About an hour later a man shows up pulling a large cooler thru the sand. Later a woman shows up carrying large bag with food. about 30 minutes later a couple show up carrying their things. To the eye no one was handicapped. now you know what really happened without me saying it. I paid $700 for the year. obviously I was upset that some received preferential treatment. i contacted the office with I will look in to it. never heard another word from the manager. She should have at least extended me a credit. Will never rent from them again. read more

We went to red reef beach, which has no shade. The chairs and umbrellas are nice and convenient, but you're better off bringing your own, if you have. The prices are sky high. They charge $10/each item per hour, which is ridiculous, or $25/each item for the full day, also way too high. But it's ok for the convenience. I highly recommend joining this service if you like going to the beach. It'll take the liking and make it loving since you won't have to carry chairs and umbrellas or tents anymore. That was one thing that used to keep me from going as often as I would like. Instead, you get to walk up with your cooler and towels to some chairs and an umbrella like a VIP all ready to go. Spent entire week looking at sailboats locked up on the (Palm Beach Shores) beach. Beautiful breezes and sunshine. No sail time. Whole stinking vacation. Hobie sailboats are strictly for show. The sails are all ripped up, and they don't let them out. Stayed here an entire week, and saw several people including myself try to rent them. They stayed put on the beach the entire week. Might as well make them beach chairs. Make them into cabanas. Brought my own chairs this time. Next time I'll bring my own umbrella. Can also get what I need at nearby beach supplies store for far less money, and give it away if need be when I leave if flying. Been coming here for nearly 20 years. One big reason was the access to Hobies. Guess I'll find somewhere else where they can REALLY provide the waterspouts advertised. Not just show boats. Zero stars rating really. read more

We asked him if he worked here and he said no I just like stroll up and down the beach I'm homeless. We have been customers for 2 years. We go to the beach 2-3 times a week and always stay in the area with Rutger and/or Major - both hard workers and always pleasant. To entice us to renew for a third year, we were told the offer would be $25 off with 3 free day passes to use for guests. We were told on several occasions that the offer would be good until the end of august. We were away for several days but we also wanted to wait to renew with Rutger to give him some loyalty credit. He was off unfortunately. We tried to renew with Major only to be told the renewal offer was simply canceled a few days before. Despite several requests to honor the offer, the "boss" refused. Simply a terrible way to run a business with loyal customers. Join if you choose but don't expect any special treatment except from the actual workers. read more

Pretty bad customer service. We went to the Delray Beach location today. Asked how much it was for 2 chairs and were told by Hector to take a seat and he'd be with us shortly. He returned 10 mins later claiming we'd been there for an hour and he already checked us in. We told him that wasn't true and he conceded. We paid for our 2 hours and this Hector guy had the nerve to then ask for a tip!
