One of the man man reefs along the path - teaming with fish

What a fantastic time snorkeling the Blue Heron Bridge area. The team is highly knowledgeable and friendly. They provided the gear, got us in the water, and pointed out a variety of wildlife along the stretch. Water was beautiful and held such an abundance of wildlife. Highly recommend for all skill levels to enjoy this dive. Thank you!!!

    Swimming with the fishes! :)

Two in our party didn't know how to swim well and they had a great time. Gorgeous fish, clear water, and very good equipment. Had experience with other outfitters that were not nearly as helpful or had great equipment!

We booked a snorkeling tour with Farrell. Our original location at Phil Foster bridge had to be cancelled due to a pipe bursting in the area which caused unsafe levels of bacteria in the water. Farrell texted me the morning of our tour to let me know about another area we could go to instead. I really appreciated him doing this rather than cancelling our excursion. We met at Riviera Beach and enjoyed looking at the reef there. Farrell was patient with my daughters and I, explaining how to fit and use the gear. We are all novices. He brought out a floatation disk that we could hang onto if we got tired out on the water. He took photos and video (this does cost extra) of us and the fish we saw while snorkeling. We had a wonderful time! One daughter and I did get a bit motion sick from the waves, but this was mostly alleviated by looking straight down rather than trying to look around while floating. We all felt safe and comfortable with Farrell - he's a good instructor and we were in good hands. Thanks again!

I love snorkeling, so whenever I am somewhere tropical, I always book a tour. In 2021 I discovered Live Free Diving and booked a snorkeling tour with my mom. I loved it so much that in 2023, I decided to return and bring my boyfriend! Both times we had the snorkel guide KeKe; she is the best! She is very patient with first-timers and super helpful if you need it. The tour is very relaxing and in calm waters, so it is great for beginners or for people who don't want to go far out into the ocean to snorkel. This time we did a 7:45 am tour and saw so many active fish & the water was clear. Although both the activity of the fish and the visibility are out of the control of the tour guides, it was obviously a plus and made the experience even more amazing. We rented gear from them and added the photo package, which is a must, in my opinion. I also brought my own GoPro, but since the instructors are professional, they get the best photos and videos (attached below are from the photo package.) All of the staff is incredible, and I WILL be returning again on my next trip to Florida.

Before booking, we were very clear that we were relatively new divers and had never done a drift dive. We specifically expressed that we wanted to feel safe and properly supported. We were assured it would be fine, but once we were in the water, the support simply wasn't there. There was very little help with weights at the start. I quickly realized I was underweighted and had to go back and get more, which immediately separated me from the group. From there, things only got worse. I ended up alone on the reef during a drift -- something that should never happen -- and ultimately had to surface solo and wait for the boat by myself. To make matters worse, my surface marker/flag device wouldn't inflate properly, and I had to be picked up alone. At no point did I feel like anyone from the team was proactively ensuring I was safe or accounted for. Afterward, the only response I received was essentially, "Sorry you had a bad experience." That was the extent of the support. The diving itself may be beautiful, but the staff's lack of attentiveness and concern for client safety and experience was deeply disappointing. When newer divers communicate nervousness and inexperience with drift diving, that should be taken seriously -- not brushed aside. This wasn't about conditions or bad luck. It was about a lack of care and leadership. I would not recommend this operation to newer divers, and I left feeling unsettled rather than excited about the dive.

Communication was excellent during both the booking process and the trip itself. Everything was well organized and clearly taken care of. The dive itself was exceptional, with loggerhead turtles, goliath groupers, lemon sharks, and bull sharks all making appearances. The next day I booked a guided night dive at Blue Heron Bridge with Ethan. Once again, the communication was top-notch. Ethan was a fantastic guide, expertly taking us to several micro-environments and pointing out an incredible variety of critters--many of which I had never seen before, even though I had visited the bridge a couple of times previously.

Scuba shops are my favorite candy stores and the Force-E store is one of the best brick and mortar dive shops that I've visited! E-Force is a full-service dive shop, doing repairs and other services in addition to selling gear. My dive buddy uses them to refill her scuba tanks. My dive computer ran out of juice during a dive there, so I went to E-Force to see if they had a new battery and get them to install the battery. They didn't charge me a repair fee to install the new battery, just the cost of the battery- how cool! Several other notable items- I converted from a vest style buoyancy control device (BCD) to a backplate & wing (BPW) setup 4 years ago during COVID. BPW isn't as common in dive shops. Most of them will have just a few accessories or packages. E-Force had a 12 foot wall display of different backplates, wings, accessories, and packages! Underwater photography is another niche market where you don't find much in brick and mortar dive shops. E-Force had a front and back rack with UW photo items. I had to pick up a few things. Lastly they also sell scuba tanks, both aluminum and steel, and accessories. I knew things were getting dangerous when I visited the store 3 times in a two day visit and spent over $300! Like I said, a diver's candy store! Definitely recommend and will repeat when my dive trips bring me back to Riviera Beach!

All we had to do was download an app on our phones and answer some questions & watch some videos to educate us on the basics of scuba diving. Super simple & fun. 3) Kirk gave us an address to meet them at we showed up and he went through the details and what we were going to be doing & how the equipment worked. 4) Kirk has a presence about him that is calming and his charismatic ways of breaking down fears and anxiousness about scuba diving make it clear we chose the right place. 5) Kirk did not disappoint! We saw a shipwreck with coral, tons of fish and lobsters! We also saw 3 HUGE ORANGE STARFISH. We saw a puffer fish, really cool jellyfish & literally tons of different kinds of fish too. 6) This is an adventure that has blown our minds. We each were in awe of what we all saw & experienced. I truly think choosing Kirk's Dive & Surf was the best choice & we will be seeing more of Kirk. 7) Kirk's shop is in downtown Jensen right next to Mulligans (a great restaurant for the family).
