I'm sure the excursion was great, except I never got to experience it. I was booked for 3/8 at 2:30, excursion would have lasted until about 3:45 pm. I planned my day around this excursion and made it a pool day at my hotel. I left my hotel at 1 pm, got there in about 15 minutes and then drove an hour looking for parking. The sheriff blocked off the parking lot because it was full. Side roads were full. At this point even if I found parking I'm walking over the lagoon bridge. I called the company and Stevie said other guests and the tour guide, Parker, were also experiencing the same issue. Stevie tried her best to help by suggesting someone picking up etc. Still no time because of he excursion was starting in 15 minutes. I requested a refund because I was done at this point. Owner called me back and assured me that I would get a refund. So unless you plan on getting there in the morning to get parking, move on from any excursions at 900 Heron. This review was fair and honest, not slamming the company. However Kaleigh thought it would be cute to email me a nasty email this morning accusing me of being a bully. Photos of the conversations attached. At this point the unprofessional-ism of this company should be considered. Kaleigh, if you were only this respectful and professional as the face you are trying to show publicly privately. You can put whatever spin on this you want, you are the real bully and you can try to make yourself look good and make me look bad. You made this to be what it didn't have to be. Our experience with Live Free Diving was excellent. We had the pleasure of being guided by Keke who was great! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. It is also great for people who might not enjoy boats since it is from the shore. Even though it is from the shore you won't miss out on any of the sights. These guys are THE BEST! Talked to them for three days while on vacation because they were trying to find the BEST day for me to snorkel where I would have an enjoyable time. They could have easily sent me out when the visibility was low, but they insisted on me getting the best conditions possible. And I did!!! We booked a snorkeling tour with Farrell. Our original location at Phil Foster bridge had to be cancelled due to a pipe bursting in the area which caused unsafe levels of bacteria in the water. Farrell texted me the morning of our tour to let me know about another area we could go to instead. I really appreciated him doing this rather than cancelling our excursion. We met at Riviera Beach and enjoyed looking at the reef there. Farrell was patient with my daughters and I, explaining how to fit and use the gear. We are all novices. He brought out a floatation disk that we could hang onto if we got tired out on the water. He took photos and video (this does cost extra) of us and the fish we saw while snorkeling. We had a wonderful time! One daughter and I did get a bit motion sick from the waves, but this was mostly alleviated by looking straight down rather than trying to look around while floating. We all felt safe and comfortable with Farrell - he's a good instructor and we were in good hands. Thanks again! read more

I love snorkeling, so whenever I am somewhere tropical, I always book a tour. In 2021 I discovered Live Free Diving and booked a snorkeling tour with my mom. I loved it so much that in 2023, I decided to return and bring my boyfriend! Both times we had the snorkel guide KeKe; she is the best! She is very patient with first-timers and super helpful if you need it. The tour is very relaxing and in calm waters, so it is great for beginners or for people who don't want to go far out into the ocean to snorkel. This time we did a 7:45 am tour and saw so many active fish & the water was clear. Although both the activity of the fish and the visibility are out of the control of the tour guides, it was obviously a plus and made the experience even more amazing. We rented gear from them and added the photo package, which is a must, in my opinion. I also brought my own GoPro, but since the instructors are professional, they get the best photos and videos (attached below are from the photo package.) All of the staff is incredible, and I WILL be returning again on my next trip to Florida. read more

Had a great experience. It was my groups first time. The instructor was really nice and made sure we were safe. The place is clean and nice to venture around. The only thing I would have to complain about is wishing I brought my own gear. After the tour was over I couldn't keep the gear to look around. Also for some of the people in my group the gear was a little uncomfortable. But overall still had a great time. Will be booking again. read more

Live Free Diving was a great experience. Keke was an excellent instructor vert knowledgeable of the ocean and its creatures. This is a great snorkel outing for families and for a more personal tour as they only take up to 8 people for trips. Best part os tbe snorkeling is steps away so no boat needed on this tour! We had such a good time we saw so many types of fish and sea life. The water was perfect so clear and the man made reefs full of fish. This is a new PADI certification course. Kiki was our instructor and she was awesome! My daughter has been obsessed with mermaids since she was a baby. She is now a 12 year old strong swimmer. I took the first course with her (I'm 50, also a very good swimmer). Kiki went over water safety, buddy system, how to equalize pressure in your ears, etc., etc. (good stuff), and then we went into the water to learn how to swim efficiently in mermaid tails. We learned a bunch of cool tricks and potentially life-saving floating, tail removal, and so on. I took the "Mermaid" course and my daughter is sticking around for the "Advanced Mermaid" certification (2 day course). We loved the class and the gorgeous location. Kiki is the best! I bet she is great at teaching scuba and free diving too. We highly recommend Live Free Diving! read more
