We were passing the area headed to our next destination & decided to stop. The beach seems like it's well kept. They had plenty of garbage cans. The surrounding area is full with shops & restaurants.. Seems like a good hot spot.

Be Cautious When Parking Please be aware and don't make the same mistake I did even if you're just stopping for a quick 10 minutes. It's better to be safe than sorry. Worst beach experience ever. Watch Out for Street Parking - $75 Ticket in Minutes. Be very careful with street parking here. I stopped for less than 10 minutes just to take a quick photo, and when I came back, there was already a $75 ticket on my car. They issue tickets incredibly fast, so it's not worth the risk. Make sure to check all signs and paid to park , even if you think you'll only be a minute. The beach entrance is a long walk, and there are no showers to rinse off your feet. The beach itself was dirty and disappointing. Thanks to the city for the quick ticket. Lesson learned. I won't be coming back.

I always enjoy the beach and ocean along A1A in Palm Beach. Today it was 92°F - but with the ocean breeze, it didn't feel like it.

Living in Florida, I've been to a lot of beaches, and I have to say; this is a very well kept, and beautiful beach. There's lots of wonderful little boutiques, and eateries nearby and probably what is the fanciest looking Publix I have ever seen in my life not too far away. The only issue is that if you do the street parking, it's pay by app only, and it's approximately (can't remember the exact price) $6 an hour. Pretty steep in my opinion especially if you're planning to spend a good couple of hours here. Highly recommend stopping by Loic bakery if you enjoy good French pastries and coffee, bring em over to the beach and enjoy a beautiful and relaxing time.

The area that is now known as Palm Beach used to be called Lake Worth.  The name change is said to be a result of the shipwreck Providencia. The ship was sailing in January 1878 with a load of coconuts bound from Havana to Barcelona when it became stranded on a reef. Early settlers quickly gathered up and planted the non native coconuts that washed up in order to start a commercial coconut industry and so the name Palm Beach was born. Palm Beach is an unincorporated town on a barrier island separated from the mainland of West Palm Beach by the Lake Worth Lagoon. You reach it by crossing over the lagoon using the Flagler Memorial Bridge. Palm Beach is known for its ultra wealthy homes, beautiful beaches, upscale boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Between 1919 and 1924, noted American resort architect Addison Mizner designed 67 buildings in Palm Beach including Worth Avenue and the famed Everglades Club. It has been a favorite destination for US Presidents John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump. My favorite destinations in Palm Beach include the museum in Whitehall which was railroad magnate Henry Flagler's former home, historic Bethesda-by-the-Sea church, the Society of the Four Arts sculpture garden, The Breakers, window shopping on Worth Avenue, dining at Royal Poinciana Plaza, Memorial Fountain Park, and the Clock Tower. The population of Palm Beach swells during the winter season. In 2016 it was the 27th wealthiest place to live in the United States. The town is estimated to have more than 30 billionaires. Palm Beach is a fun place to dine, take in culture, sun on the beach, and get a glimpse into how the super rich live.

Next time I'm in Palm Beach, I'm going to pass on going to this area of the beach. Parking is only on the street, no parking garages to be found, and the street parking is hard to obtain due to it being occupied quickly during prime time. Parking through the ParkMobile app is $5.35 per hour. For the 2021 Memorial Day weekend, the city didn't even bother to take the seaweed off the beach; it was everywhere. The water was a perfect temperature at the end of May, not too cold and not too warm, but it gets up to your shoulders within about 10 steps.

Palm Beach is so pretty. The parking on the street is a hop, skip, and a jump to the beach. They have a meter parking which is easy to pay using the park mobile app. Dogs aren't allowed here, so since the weather was a bit windy for our beach day, it was easy to sit on benches and see the beach. It's just so picturesque!

One of the most romantic beaches i've seen. You can say is because of the area where is at but to me there's something unique about this beach. Is great to walk, jog, sit dont know about swimming as the waves are kinda of strong but definitely will recommend it to just go have lunch by, walk, and like i say for romantic purposes this one is spot on.

What a beautiful beach - glorious, quiet and peaceful. Ample street parking, life guards, and bathrooms. The sand is soft and fine - the birds and sea animals come in and out. Just heavenly. We visited during sunrise and sunset and the vistas were simply spectacular, as depicted in these pictures.

This beach was so relaxing. Me and my partner had enough space around us, it wasn't crowded. The current was a little strong but we were still able to get in and enjoy the water.

A Gorgeous Beach ~ But Expensive to Park Nearby The landmark for the Midtown Municipal Beach is the Clock Tower where the famous Worth Avenue meets South Ocean Blvd. A gorgeous beach to take a long walk on @ Sunset ~ the azure water glistens & the sound of the waves is perfect. You can choose from the sandy beach or a paved walkway above the concrete fence next to the street. Convenient street parking in both directions. Parking is $5 per hour. There is a minimum of 2 hours / $10. Do not let the meter expire ~ the Meter Hounds are out in droves, here & everywhere in PB. Note that hundreds of previously-Free public side-street spaces have recently been converted to permit parking only. I took off 1* because there are nearby beaches with less expensive parking fees, & a few miles away there are beach parks with Free Parking.

The reefs right off the beach are incredible for snorkeling. We are talking vibrant fish, clear visibility, and that feeling of stumbling into another world just steps from shore. Today we launched our inflatable paddle boards right from Ocean Reef and paddled all the way down to the Pumphouse and back, a solid 2.7 miles of crystal clear blue water, warm summer sun, and zero crowds. The water was that perfect shade of turquoise that makes you forget you are in Florida and feel like you are somewhere in the Caribbean. I loved that it offers so many activities in one place--kayaking, paddleboarding, the beach, picnic areas, a gift shop, and educational exhibits--all at very reasonable prices. Parking was only $5, and the kayak and paddleboard rentals were affordable too. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on a day with an extremely low tide. Paddleboard rentals were suspended, but kayak rentals were still available. The staff did warn us about the low tide and advised us to stay near the edges to avoid getting stuck. However, as someone new to kayaking, I didn't realize just how much the tide would impact the experience. For a large portion of our trip, the water was so shallow that our kayaks constantly got stuck. We had to repeatedly get out and drag them through the water. At times, the water wasn't even ankle deep. I completely understand that the staff can't control the tides, but I honestly wish kayak rentals had also been paused that day because the conditions made it difficult to really enjoy the experience. By the time we finished kayaking, we were exhausted and felt pretty gross from walking through the murky water, so we ended up skipping the beach altogether. Outside of that, the park itself looked lovely. There was a nice picnic area, a cute gift shop, and they even had a rescued sea turtle with a volunteer sharing information about sea turtle conservation, which was a really nice touch. There also appeared to be several educational exhibits throughout the park, although they happened to be closed during our visit. One downside was a pretty unpleasant smell near the gift shop, but I'm guessing that may have also been related to the unusually low tide. Despite my experience, I haven't written the park off. The photos I've seen online make it look absolutely beautiful, and I think we were just unlucky with the timing. I'd definitely consider coming back on a day with higher water levels to give it another chance. It sounds like a great park overall--I just recommend checking the tide conditions before planning to kayak or paddleboard so you can enjoy it at its best.
