Parasailing
Tamara D.

We absolutely loved parasailing with this company. They set the standards for what we will expect moving forward from all future parasailing. We started off by coming in early as requested. We were taken in a smaller boat to the big boat. We were strapped in and off in no time. Got some good pictures and would do it all over again. This definitely made our experience to Miami well worth it! They accept cash app for tips if your like me and forget to bring cash. I definitely recommend checking out this company. The experience was phenomenal and something everyone should do at least once. Definitely recommend. Took my son for his 16th birthday and he loved every minute of it. I loved seeing how happy this made him and it made me happy to be able to check off another bucket list of things I always wanted to do. Thank you all for the great experience.

I've been wanting to get out of my comfort zone for a while so for my birthday I decided to go parasailing. The people were so nice. It was an awesome experience The people that were checking us in, the banana boat driver, the boat driver and the camera man all of them were kind and funny. If you thinking about going parasailing this is your sign to do it. Get out of your comfort zone and go after it

We couldn't ask for a better day to parasail. We are all afraid of heights but did a great job. We were busy enjoying the beautiful turquoise waters and peaceful quiet and breeze way up where there is no one. Riding on the boat, staff service and the parasail rude was excellent. Highly recommended.

Ahhhhhh! I can't believe I actually did this. I am soooo scared of sharks and all the oceans mysterious creatures. My husband convinced me to do this so we gave it a shot. It was one of the best experiences ever. It began checking in and signing the waiver. The gentlemen were so personable and down to earth. They made me feel at ease. We put on our life vest and went on a tiny boat to the bigger boat (don't know specific names) we hopped on and they set us up. We got the picture package so he started snapping pictures of us on the boat as we waited to buckle up. Once we were ready & set sail the butterflies in my stomach went crazy! It was such a beautiful experience seeing the ocean and the shoreline. It was an unexplainable view. We even saw a turtle in the water! I am so happy we did this.

85$ per person, but WORTH IT! We didn't make a reservation ahead of time but they were able to squeeze us into their schedule. Their spot is so easy to find with the red umbrellas. I was so nervous being that this was my first time going parasailing but the employees were very helpful explaining everything. I can assure you that they will ease your nerves. You get about 10-15 mins in the sky but whole trip took about an hour or so depending how many people you have in your boat. It was such an amazing experience although I felt a little nauseous in the air when it was swaying back and forth but most of the ride was steady. The staff that operated the boat were so friendly and hilarious! They had so much energy and were so fun! Hands down the best parasailing place in Miami!! Once in a lifetime experience

The view was incredible!

My husband and I decided to go to Miami for our honeymoon last year and were determined to try para-sailing while there! Unfortunately summer months in Miami are the rainy months! But luck had decided to give us a chance as our last full day in Miami it was a hot sunny beautiful day! perfect for para-sailing! To be honest, we got lost looking for this place on the beach because it's only advertised by it's ''red umbrellas'' but eventually after 1/2 hour of walking the beach we found it. Once we got ourselves ready, we had to sign some waivers and were lucky enough to catch a group just as they were getting ready to board the boat, so we didn't have to wait long. The experience itself is incredible.. you've never seen an amazing view of Miami until you've flown in the air above it. We were up in the air for about 10-15 minutes with 2 dunks into the water which was nice considering it was very hot out! The crew was excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately I did experience some seasickness after we got seated in the boat and the next group got loaded up. Completely not the crews fault as we were in a speedboat. They were nice enough to offer me some bottled water.. I guess I looked a little green! If you go before 11 am, you get $10 off each person so it's only $65 per person. Plus you can purchase a photo package for $30 and you get TONS of photos on a keepsake memory card (which they put inside a plastic case, how convenient!) Our photographer took at least 40 photos of us! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to any of our friends travelling to Miami. One thing I would change, have lockers available for people to store their stuff. You could either a)leave your bags unattended in a box at the ''red umbrella check ins'' or b)take them on the speedboat where they can get wet. 5/5 :)

Enjoyed our time with a very friendly crew- thanks guys!

We met up the Biscayne bay marina since the water was choppy that day- and the crew was great! Very friendly and helpful. We went out with another couple and they played music for us. We were up in the air around 15 minutes- and time goes by fast! They dipped us twice- and took pictures with the photo package I got. Will update once I plug the sd card in my computer- it currently says it is "not formatted".

Ask the Community - South Beach Parasail

Hi I really want to try this Sunday to conquer my fear and check it off my bucket list, can you please let me know on the landing do they bring you back to the boat to land on boat or do you land in the water?

you land on the boat but this is also contingent on the weather. If there is a lot of wind, it's possible you can land in the water which they do disclose to you. In the event of this, they have a procedure which they inform you of prior.

The best part of the trip was how we had the boat exclusively to ourselves! I didn't know it'd be a private tour until the day I came. So, the boat was just a total of 3 people (captain included). The water temperature was great and the clarity was decent. We even saw two dolphins! You meetup at Whiskey Joe's at the marina and you can start your excursion immediately. I liked that you didn't need to wait around much. I was able to see some cool looking fish, a bottom feeder and a crab. You get 2 hours for the snorkeling and you're not required to wear any life vests (in fact, we weren't offered any and I didn't see any). The water is super shallow so it didn't seem dangerous at all. The water is also salty and easy to float in. The boat was nearby the main snorkeling area. The bad: The area for snorkeling was pretty small. It was an artificial reef where the fish were but outside of that area there is just seagrass and there's no living things to observe. The website says snorkeling starts at $75/pp and up but that's misleading b/c that's only the price if you have 8+ people. When I came to the marina, the worker who had me sign paperwork said that "$25/hour tip is required" when I got an email saying 15% tip is optional. My husband clarified and he said "yes, it's required" but later retracted his statement after I clarified that it was strange to give tip upfront before we even went on the excursion. However, I did already give 15% tip upfront on 50% of the value and then Zelled an additional $25 tip to the captain himself afterward. The cost for snorkeling ended up being $407 for 2 people (pricey). The interesting: The captain swam with us to lead us to the reef and then swam back and was mostly on his phone.
