I'm not a fan of BottleDrop for various reasons. I think the state should investigate them for poor performance and rebid the contract. It's just a lousy operation. Today, I went here to the Redmond location to drop off green bags because the Bend operation often has a full drop door. And there's no way I'm going inside to drop bags during COVID. The outside drop door area at Redmond is really poorly designed but today it was hazardous - thick ice on the concrete, making it very difficult to load bags while maintaining balance and not injure myself. Why can't employees be tasked to clear snow before it solidifies into ice? Everyone else in Central Oregon regards it as a normal function. read more

This facility is filthy. The sidewalk outside is sticky as is the floor inside. The staff is rude and clearly miserable. On top of that, after you have deposited your cans/bottles, the machine will spit out a credit receipt that you're meant to take to a cash kiosk (for instant cash) or a credit kiosk (to add your credit to your account with a 20% bonus). Today is January 19, 2021. The credit kiosk was out of order and the rude staff refused to honor the 20% bonus. Only one of the two cash kiosks was working - and even still it wasn't fully functional. It would spit out up to 99 cents in change followed by another credit clip with a whole dollar amount that you then have to take to the counter for cash. It's just a disappointment all around and more depressing than visiting the DMV and Post Office COMBINED. read more

I love how this process works. Bring cans/bottles in ... Feed the machine. Press the button receipt print out Go to cash machine .. Reads receipt then spits out the $ & cents. I been to this place twice .. Plenty of machines didn't have to wait. Other states need this process and I believe more people will take advantage of recycling. read more

I had a feeling that I wasn't receiving my full funds for my drop off.. I dropped 5 bags off and never received any of it. That was over a month ago now. I have reached out to the company and still haven't heard any reply.. Not a friendly staff. Extremely inefficient in managing crowds. Will let a person fumble around with 30 cans for 20 minutes instead of offering to hand count. Machines are consistently down and you're lucky to have 5 of 9 working at a given time. If they do work its still likely a belt or two isn't turning properly of the reader is overly sensitive to a crinkle or faster loading. Seems the whole place is rigged to take in as few cans as possible while trying to appear otherwise. Horrible read more

I like the convenience of the redemption center but it's always filthy, disgusting and it stinks. First of all, there's always broken glass in the parking lot that I don't want to drive thru and who wants to put the items that you want to recycle in wet germy rolling bins before you touch them all?! it's easy enough to go in and return bottles. if you want an account for drop off and ring up online or at the kiosk-good luck! it never sends the confirmation code. if you ask the staff inside -they know nothing-it's not their job-call the main number. good luck with that too! I was on the phone on hold for about 39 minutes before I gave up and tired of their "we're hiring message" every 60 seconds. read more

garbage coustmurr service. april 9th 2020 man kicked me out and i arrived at 4:55 the website says 6 (false advertising) they close at five the man working yelled at me told me to leave and get out hes not allowing amymore people. i came from prineville. my friend mother of 8 woth 5 kids waiting for her at home and my 9 month old son. he refused to allow me to return cans little did he mention till time came but he had to lock the door at 5:05 so i could have turned in enough money for gas. instead he refused argued with me was very rude and when i decided i was just doing to do the 2 bags that i brought in he chased me across the building and screamed at me my friend was prepared to call the cops because he then decided to walk an inch behind me and try to put hands on me so i couldnt go anywhere but out the door. he gave me anumber not for his manages but one that hung up on me after saying i could leave a message then have my call returned the next day. no. he needs fired and i will be letting everyone know what this man did. my friend and i then ran out if gad on our way home to our childern because of this garbage puece of crap man that doesnt deserve a job working woth people. and he knew we had no gas to get home to another town!!! read more
