Then they said my heater blower motors were not replaced, and if they were the part number that was listed on the invoice didn't match so they couldn't charge Ford for the warranty work. This whole situation was very frustrating and if I was to return to the Eau Claire area, I would NOT use them again. Customer beware!

That wasn't an issue as we were looking at a chevy at a Subaru dealership. The issue came while getting lending, to purchase the car. If you EVER buy a car here, DO NOT use the lender GLS!!!! What a nightmare! First, they have the absolute rudest customer service representatives. Second the CSR call all the time asking you to verify the same info over and over! I verified my info 3 times and they were texting and calling all day. I am NOT dealing with this all day. I called Raul in financing at Morries and told him I was returning the car due to this unnecessary harassment. He said he would contact the lending service and rectify this situation. He called me back and said they will call me 1 more time to authorize the loan and that was all they would need. WRONG!!!! They wanted me to verify ALL my info again! I called Raul back and He called then again; he called me back and promised me they would just do the authorization of the loan and all would be good. he apologized for the issues with this lender, and he said he would make it right for us, but after I authorized the loan, we never heard back from him or Mike the used car manager. I think they just didn't want to honor the 5-day happy customer policy. Will NOT buy here again!

I got strung along for a long time regarding things that were wrong with the vehicle when I decided to buy it, which I had brought to their attention immediately. They kept making excuse after excuse, with continued promises that they would take care of everything. I kept persisting until I was told that they weren't going to fix or replace what they promised, after months of stories and excuses, including that their mechanic cut his hand, then the mechanic was not at work, then he wasn't going to do it, so it would be done at an auto mechanic shop. They even had scheduled appointments for me and gave me the time and place, more then once, only to have each one be cancelled, on their part! The sticker on the window said everything was in working order, which it should be, I am paying a lot for this vehicle. I am supposed to have a 6-disk CD changer and told them it is not working. They promised to replace it, but did not. Even went so far to claim that they ordered one, more then once. Something about the seller did not follow through, the first time. There was a wheel noise on one side, and they never fixed that like the promised, so what a crock. The 3rd brake light was not working properly, and they replaced that, but now it is failing. It should definitely be under warranty, but now what do I do? I do not know where they ordered it from, and they ruined the customer relationship. Wondering if I should call the police to have the police contact them to ask. I know that might sound cynical at best, but I cannot send in a relative to ask, it might get ugly, that is something I am afraid of! I might have to call, but i am afraid to! I deserve recourse! This is the dealer on Birch Street, with Josh and Tony, just to confirm. I see that they have a habit on another review site, claiming several times that it is not them (when people have posted complaints), but one with a similar name instead.. They try to pass the buck.

Communication was a major issue as our concerns were ignored despite our repeated attempts to discuss the issues. This experience shook our confidence and especially bothered us because we had the pleasure of knowing Ken Vance in years past. He was an amazing person who displayed utmost integrity and honesty, and he saw being humble as a strength. He was always eager to seek ways to improve and got so excited each time he discovered a way to fix something. The initial experience we had at Vance Collision did not reflect the values Ken Vance displayed. We were recently contacted by Justin Larsen at Ken Vance Hyundai who had heard about our experience, genuinely wanted to discuss it, and was sincere about resolving the issue. He took the time to gather the facts, respond to our questions, seek a fair solution, and acknowledge what had happened. This was a breath of fresh air. Justin displayed the same values that Ken Vance worked hard for to build his dealership. While we are disappointed with the initial experience, we greatly appreciate Justin reaching out, and we especially appreciate the respect he has shown to Ken Vance's legacy as a result of him taking the time to address this issue. Thank you for not only taking care of us as customers, but for also caring for all that Ken Vance worked for.

During our time there which was more than 4 hours, I expressed that I thought I needed to wait on the purchase and everytime I mentioned a concern, they met it with some type of solution. I wanted to wait for a certificated vehicle that would be ready in 7-10 days, but the finance manager kept swaying me towards this car. The certified vehicle was at a different lot. I should have walked, but decided to go ahead with the ourchase. Some things needed to be done- we wanted the rust proof spray and they were going to replace the console around gear shift which was wite beat up, and so the vehicle would not be ready for two days. Still leary, I asked " do you have a buyers remorse clause". I was told by the finance manager " we have a 7 day return policy if you decide for any reason you do not want the car. Return it for the $$ or exchange." That night, had difficulty sleeping, next morning woke up with it on my mind. Had appointments in the morning but could not shake the bad gut feeling about the car. we received an email that afternoon that the work on the car would be started at 07:30 the following morning I called after receiving that email, asking to speak to the salesman and/ or finance manager- not available. I spoke to a manager and explained the situation. He said that the return policy stood and I asked to have our down payment refunded. He said he was going to contact the mechanics. I also emailed the salesperson and then called back again to speak to him, which I did, relaying all the information. My call and speaking to manager and salesman was less than 24 hours after we had been there. 2 days after my call, the finance manager called and spoke to my husband. He relayed the explanation, the manager said he understood, BUT would not refund the complete 5K because of the anti rust coating. We would need to pay the $500.00 My husband said "well arent you going to pass that on to the next customer", to which he replied that we needed to pay for it, because we had requested it. So, if you purchase a 23 Honda Passport from Ken Vance make sure they dont charge you for something that has been paid for by us. I've heard great things about Capital Motor Company from a few people and checked their website frequently. The vehicles I were interested in typically were "reserved" quickly, so on a nice day late August 2022, I made the drive from Saint Paul to Eau Claire to take a gander. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Ben, who showed me several vehicles and answered all of my questions and looked up the ones he wasn't as familiar with. I've done my research, but it's always nice to see things in person and get someone else's opinion (and he was very forthright with his thoughts, both negative and positive). A loaded 2021 Volvo S60 T5 Momentum AWD was in stock and although I wasn't shopping for that brand, I took it for a test drive (along with a few others) and was stunned. Ben, a self-disclosed Audi owner himself, boasted about the quality of the three brands I expressed interest in (BMW, Audi and Range Rover) but showed me the outstanding qualities of Volvo and how their features met, and even exceeded, the specific ones I was seeking in an Audi. My current vehicle was fine and I was not in any rush to purchase something; I was just looking. After expressing interest for the Volvo I test drove, Ben and I discussed a trade-in or an outright purchase if I were to move forward with the switch. Ben made some calls to the owner, Joe, and I was offered a good trade-in offer for my existing vehicle (which was not one they'd typically sell there) and an outstanding price on the Volvo, should I choose to purchase it. I was fortunate to have options on whether or not to retain my potential trade-in, but decided to trade it in and purchase the Volvo. At no time did I ever feel pressured, all phone conversations were conducted in my presence and unlike purchasing other vehicles over the years; I never felt that "oh crap" feeling while proceeding with my transaction. As a Minnesota resident, I was a bit concerned about the title transfer process, as they are located in Wisconsin. Ben explained the process to me and transferring the title was a piece of cake. He said they do a lot of out of state business, which was evident. A few days after I had my Volvo, I noticed a small plastic component missing from the side of the driver' seat. It's unlikely that it was missing during the test drive and minimal days I drove it, as it was noticeably gone, but decided to call the dealership to see if maybe they found it in their parking lot or if it had come off while they were preparing it for delivery. I spoke with Steve, as Ben was off that day, and he told me that the owner was happy to order the part and have it mailed to me or arrange for it to be picked up at my local Volvo dealership. It was a very nice gesture and I took them up on it. I picked it up at my local dealership without any problems. If you are interested in a luxury or imported, pre-owned vehicle with all the bells and whistles, I strongly encourage you to take a gander at their website. Their inventory seems to go fast and I am so grateful for making the drive that day! An Audi may be in my future, but I cannot express how impressed I am with my Volvo and the more I learn about it, the more I am floored that they are not as "popular" as the aforementioned brands! The owner, Joe, followed up by phone a few days after the sale to make sure my experience was enjoyable and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase; which I certainly am! I feel confident with my decision in moving forward with my purchase and it's been a blast to drive in the snow! It handles better than my husband's Jeep!!! Thank you to Ben, Steve and Joe for the outstanding experience and I will definitely return when I am ready for my next whip! (I was fortunate enough to not require financing, but I feel that process would have been hassle-free, like the rest of my experience there!) Thanks again!!!!
