Went there for a pedicure on the spur of the moment. Nice and clean inside with brand new sterilizing equipment. The lady who did my pedicure told me they are new owners. I'm not the type to write reviews but I'm too mad not to! Decided to take a chance on this place because my mom lives nearby and she needed to be pampered for Mother's Day. We got here at our appt time and were sat down in the chairs. My mom doesn't like nail polish so she just got a manicure and pedicure. They did both at the same time and finished BOTH IN 10 MINUTES!!!! Is this a joke? She is supposed to be pampered, that was the point of bringing her in. My money could have gone somewhere else that would have cared to take care of her. Not only that, they weren't even busy!!!!! They had one person in here when we got here and she was finished. I went for the first time to Bothell Nails today in Canyon Park. I have had a lot of pedicures but this was really the best. What put it over the top was the superb service. They were incredibly nice and wanted to do exactly as I asked. Kim and another woman were my manicurists. They were awesome. In addition to the pedicure, I got the shellac on my fingernails. I ruin manicures within hours because I use my nails for everything. So far so good. Also, they said if I had any chipping in the first week to come in and they would redo. What a great service. The price was very reasonable too. This salon is a keeper. read more

I wanted to get something that would really LAST, as I'm going out of the country for a month. I wanted a "French" look on my nails and toes. I've never seen a busier place. It was definitely assembly-line mani/pedi. They speak very little English, and I suspect my requests were not understood well. I asked for Lina, but I guess she was too busy, so I got 3 other young folks. MANI: Firstly, they did not soak my nails, or cuticle clean-up of dead skin, etc. NONE of the 3 different people that worked on me pushed back my cuticles. I don't care for the ultra-thick acrylic, and because my cuticles were not pushed back, the acrylic is already lifting on the edges, looking like I already need a fill, after only 3 days! I like something a little thinner, and more natural-looking. My nails ended up being very square, even though I asked for "square-ISH". PEDI: The French part was uneven, being very thin white on one side, and thicker on the other. I did enjoy the foot soak and massage with hot stones. They seemed MUCH too rushed to do a good job. "get 'em in, get 'em out..". seems to be their MO. They are all very nice, however, $85 for a mani/pedi that I could have done better stings. Friendly service earns this salon 2 stars. At least I assume friendliness because their English was poor. I entered wanting a shellac manicure for 25$ which is decently priced. Come to find out that because I was a new customer I would need to pay an extra 5$. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Unfortunately she never cleaned my cuticles and the end result is disappointing. My nails are bumpy. This place could also use some air conditioning, as well as an upgrade. read more

I originally went in because it was the nearest nail salon and I really wanted my acrylics removed that I had done a few weeks before done somewhere else. She got them off fairly quickly then asked if I wanted a manicure. After seeing my nails post-acrylic I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted nail polish and then offered shellac. She was clearly trying to upsell and I was trying to save money, but I decided it was worth it for the polish to last longer to get shellac. This was about 3 weeks ago (maybe more) and my nails are still perfectly shaped and still unchipped :) Best manicure I've ever had done. read more

I was disappointed in the quality of the pedicure and insulted that the tech wore gloves to do my feet and the patron sitting next to me he removed them. I was given mismatched separators for my toes that looked used after closer inspection. When I complained about the polish looking streaked because the paint job was rushed I was told to let it dry. The quality and concern seems to be for the customers that come on a regular bases. I have not found a nail salon in Bothell yet that does quality services. I only returned after 1 visit because the quality this past winter was superb. read more

I love coming here for a pedicure. I still drive up from the city occasionally coz they're so great! They have great massage chairs. And they don't use scalding hot water on my feet which I love! As part of the pedi they also massage your feet/calves :) Rate is par for Bothell. read more

Lina is an awesome personable business woman. She meets and greets all of her customers and looks out for her employees as well. The friendly employees take pride in their services and ensured that I was happy with my nails. The environment is relaxing and neighborhoody/local. Have been to Bothell Nails three times. Owner Kim and her husband work as a tag team so you are rushed and don't feel like you are being pampered or even valued as a customer. She cuts your nails then he takes over. It seems to be about how many customers they can turn in an hour! The owner/husband keeps a careful eye on all of the technicians like a taskmaster so they don't smile very much and strictly do their job in a very quick manner. A pedicure consists of rubbing each leg 30 seconds to 1 minute per leg and the whole pedicure lasts about 20 minutes. They give you no time to soak your feet at all. They fill tub up but then start your pedicure immediately so one foot hasn't even soaked yet. These owners really are in a hurry to make their fortune but they need to slow down and relax. read more

Went there for the first time in September 2016, asked for a almond shape nail, and she made super short, and tried to fix it adding more mix acrylic powder, and looked crooked, horrible. She hurt my fingers. Even tho from the beginning I was telling exactly how I wanted my nail to look like, showed a picture, she kept showing me attitude saying "I do this for 15 years "huh-ney", I am professional bla bla bla". Well apparently you are not . After I showed my discontentment, she never apologized and kept talking about me in Vietanamese to her coworker. This place is great. I used to come here all the time and then had to stop. When I came back they rememberd me. I like to get the nail design and they always have something cute to show me, What really impressed me is that I had a nail lift and they fixed it no questions asked, in fact they thanked me for comming in to get it fixed rather than ignore it and not be happy. They do an okay job but try to push extra services on you. The extra spa pedicure was not as much as I thought it would be based on what was described. I also asked for a Seahawks design on my nail and had to have it redone by a different lady because the first design was so bad. Also they basically made me pay cash when they saw I had some in my wallet even though I wanted to use my credit card. It was very weird. I went here for way too long, wasn't until I saw someone else that I realized how awful this place really is. They rush their work and seem to not care what they're doing, not the cleanest place either... which concerns me about the health of my nails and others. What made me completely stop going to this place, is when the lady took my change and said "tip?" I had $10 in change which I needed, and I was going to tip her with the money I had in my wallet. She made the assumption immediately that I wouldn't tip her bc they always look/ think of me as a dumb little girl. One guy was actually good at what he does but he only did my nails once, not worth going to. Whenever I would call and ask for him to do my nails, a woman who does a poor job always did them. I don't get it, if I make an appointment with someone, I should have them as my tech right? Wrong, lost a long time customer. I felt a little bad because the design was pretty complex but they made it look so beautiful and exactly like the picture and all the staff were so friendly. One of them cut my nails too short for french tip, so I ended up getting regular color and the last lady was rude. My nails look okay, but it wasn't what I wanted. I won't be back. I went for a mani pedi. They asked me if I wanted the special pedicure for $5 extra. I said sure, after hearing them explain it to my friend. I sat with my feet in the water for about a half an hour before they did anything, and then it was just "eh" - they forgot the Massage, the hot stones, and the lotion that I was promised. My manicure was done at the same time as the pedicure, and then they disappeared, leaving my friend and I to sit there for the next half an hour, alone, and we couldn't leave because my friend was waiting for the owner to come back to do nail art, but she took on a lengthy wax job so we just kept waiting... My manicure included them soaking my fingernails in a bowl of water, pushing my cuticles back very quickly, a quick file, a base coat, and two coats of polish. No lotion, no hand or arm massage, and no top coat, until I asked about 45 minutes later. While they were gone in the back, I mentioned to my friend the things I got shorted and suddenly a woman appeared with lotion and massaged my feet and legs, and honestly, she was no good. When I handed over my cash at the end and the owner decided her own tip was going to be $5 of my change without even saying anything, I was just dumbfounded. read more

I wonder if this place caters to tourists because I really can't imagine anyone going back after the service I experienced. On the window it says 'pedicure $20' and 'manicure $12'. I went in the morning of my brothers wedding for both and my son got a pedicure for his ingrown toenail. The owner walked by once we were in the chairs and shows me a bottle from a basket and squirts something in the water (I'm now thinking THAT was probably just more water) and I asked her if they had a salt scrub they could add. She said yes, smiled and hurried on down the line. 3 different people worked on my feet and hands, stopping and starting many times over which for me, TOTALLY ruins the relaxation part of the whole thing. I told the gal doing my hands I just wanted the cuticles taken care of and not to worry about polish. I'm not a regular manicure person I just wanted the cuticles to be done and my hands soft basically. Too much to ask for, I guess.. cuticles were barely touched and still pretty jagged and rough after. Cuticles on my toes were not done to even 1/2 of what I consider normal, 3 swipes of a pumice if I was lucky and a polish job of a 7 year old. No offense to 7 year olds! Now I go to pay and she wants $75!?!?? I point to the window prices and she says 'you had callous treatment (not that I was aware of and I do get that at my regular place once in awhile so I am familiar with it), special (and points to a picture on the wall of a basket filled with products) and hot stones.' I was not aware the stuff she squirted in the bowl was extra, never being there I didn't know the hot stones were not the norm and besides a crappy polish job and weak massage I never did get a salt scrub... I ended up paying $60 and unfortunately I really think between the standard language barrier/broken English and the fact that there are a ton if hotels right here that this place knowingly takes advantage of people. Went in to Bothell Nails for my 1st visit, a wax and pedicure. Do not know why it took me so long to find these folks. They are great! Don't use any of the "power tools" which can cause so many problems, everything is done with manual tools, so no chance of a problem. Lena is great with waxing. Hubby gave me a day at the salon for Christmas. I walked in, only intending to have a pedicure. The first delightful surprise was when the young man providing the pedicure remembered my name, although it was several months ago when I first used their services. It wasn't hard to get talked into a full nail set and brow wax. I was a regular customer of another local salon but I felt taken for granted and left. The sugar scrub along with the paraffin wax booties was deightful. Hot towels, stones. The scrub with leg massage was so invigorating and I enjoyed it very much. My nails, both hands and feet, are perfect and the brow wax which turned into a face wax was also perfect. The two people taking care of me were considerate, gracious, talkative and made me feel special. I spent $100 and tipped the pedi person extra $5 for each ingrown toenail they take care of. Horrible experience. Went for a manicure and came out looking like a 4 year old had painted my nails. When I asked if she could redo because the polish was a mess, I was told I would have to talk to the manager and that the manager was out of town. I will never go back there again. read more
