I have been coming to Cindy for almost six years and even after moving out of Boston, I always find a way to book an appointment with her! She is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever had...and I've been to many places, frills to no frills, and Cindy is the real deal. She is incredibly talented and knows exactly where you have tension without even telling her. Her deep/therapeutic pressure is incredible and she always checks in with you to make sure you're comfortable. I would recommend Cindy a million times again and again, 10/10 always! She is amazing! read more

First time seeing Cindy at Boston Wellness Massage and she was above and beyond fantastic!! I explained that my back tends to be what needs the most work when I get massages. I added that I need very deep tissue massage. We discussed a couple of things related to my comments so she could get clarity. The pressure she used to start was close to what I needed. She did start extremely deep so I asked that she pull back very slightly.....she did so to perfection. I can see going back since it was very much worth the money spent on a 45 minute session. In my case it's around the corner from my place which makes this even more convenient. If you're coming into Boston and are in need of a massage, I would highly recommend Cindy for a massage. You'll be very glad you booked with her. read more

I had a great experience here with Cindy. She listened and adjusted a few times throughout my session. I will definitely come back again. Thank you Cindy! read more

Came here a few weeks ago while I was on vacation. Easy to book and one of the best deep tissues massages I've ever had. Cindy was really kind and always checked in on the pressure too. Would def come here often if I lived in Boston! read more

Great massage especially if you want back cracks (she asked before cracking obviously)!

Im not saying this lightly. If you are looking for a massage session that will change your life you have to come here. I booked a 90 minute Swedish and it was seriously the most amazing massage ever. From the moment I walked in she was so warm and welcoming. I felt instantly comfortable. She really does talk through the various massage and technique options before starting which I loved. I have had hundreds if not over a thousand massages and this was seriously the best. The movement techniques she used were like magic. She knew exactly where all the pain points were and got them out while still keeping it relaxing and Swedish style. I can't thank her enough for this time. I will definitely be back. If you're fortunate enough to live here you MUST book an appointment. You won't regret it. read more

Cindy is an amazing woman and an absolutely amazing massage therapist. I will visit the city just to see her for a deep tissue massage! I highly recommend booking an appointment! read more

Best deep tissue massage I've had in a while. I was initially intimidated by the photos of Cindy stepping on clients in the yelp photos, but i was eventually persuaded to try her out after reading a bunch of stellar reviews and being tempted by the yelp deal. $65 for a massage? Sure, why not? The place is quaint and clean, probably nicer than most functional massage places, though it's not a spa. Cindy is really great at asking you if you're ok with things, like stepping on you and cracking your back (yes and no for me) and is constantly asking for your feedback on pressure throughout the experience. She spends a lot of time working through all the knots and although you will feel somewhat sore afterward, your back will thank you. She also asked me if I wanted a deep tissue massage or a relaxation massage at the very beginning, and I chose deep tissue, so if you're looking for more of a gentle experience, I'm sure she can provide that for you too. At the end, she stretches your hips, which was incredibly effective for me. Overall, incredible massage for my back and hips- haven't felt this good in so long! Pro tip: if you get the $65 for $85 deal on yelp, you can continue to pay $65 for an hour massage if you pay in cash and mention that you were a former yelp deal user. I'm definitely coming back to see Cindy! read more

I would recommend Boston Wellness to anyone! Cindy is so friendly and listens very well. I come in at various times, and sometimes need a more relaxing vs. deep tissue massage. She adjusts pressure as you need. The room is always perfectly warm or cool and keeps me cool even with the crazy city outside. You can even get discounts in you come on a regular basis! read more

Just came back from a well deserved amazing massage! I was looking forward to this for almost two weeks. I discovered Boston wellness massage of course through yelp and after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures I knew i had to book. I took advantage of the yelp deal which was easy to claim and I especially loved that she had online booking. I'm such an introvert that I avoid talking on the phone at all costs if I don't have to. I got lost on my way there which was my fault as I thought it was in the opposite direction of where i thought it was. If you're looking for the place it's right across from the H&M in Copley. My appt was at 430 and I got there right at that time. She told me she usually has first time clients fill out paperwork but since I got there a little late she didn't want to waste any of the massage time and let me skip the paperwork! She asked me where and what kind of massage I'd like. I told her I'd like her to focus mostly on my back as that's where I have a lot of discomfort and to go deep. She went straight to work and she has such strong hands. It was a bit painful at times and she did ask me if the pressure was fine and I got through it because I just wanted those knots in my back to be gone! She also asked me if I wanted my back and neck cracked. Yes! It was great. The only complaint if you can call it a complaint was that I booked a Thai feet massage and I was slightly disappointed when she didn't walk on my back. Haha I was really looking forward to it to try something new. I overlooked it because the massage was amazing. Would definitely come and hopefully get to try the ashiatsu massage! read more

Best massage hands and feet down. I've had swedish, shiatsu, reflexology, and I was really looking forward to my first Thai massage. First, she actually read the paper I filled out and she noticed I marked allergies, and made sure sesame oil was okay for my skin. After a brief consultation about what I was looking for, she got all my trouble spots and would ask if the pressure was okay and adjusted if I asked. Excellent pressure and great service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with Cindy! read more

My dear husband knows how much a love massages from time to time, and so he always buys me a one. So he found the Boston Wellness Massage, and Cindy was soooooo great/amazing/wonderful and very strong. I booked for a Swedish but during my consultation we went over what I am looking to get out of my visit and we went over a very detailed conversation about my body, which I think its very important. And for the first time I don't feel like a piece of raw meat on a table lol. If I had to describe her massage it would be therapeutic/medical/the real deal. I felt great and relaxed for days. I am loyal customer now. Thank you Cindy and see yah soon. read more

Two weeks ago I went in for my second 60 minutes deep tissue Swedish massage because 1. My Groupon was going to expire 2. My back desperately needed it, especially after taking all of my midterms Cindy took care of me and always made sure I was okay with everything she did. While she was stepping on my back (she asked if this was okay first), she always asked to make sure I was okay, and when she cracked my back and neck, I WAS IN HEAVEN. I had a lot of tension in my neck and back, but by the time I left Boston Wellness Massage, I felt like a brand new person with a new back. I didn't have trouble understanding Cindy at all because she speaks English extremely well. She's very friendly and talkative, but she also gives you peace and quiet when/if you want it. Also, don't be alarmed if your body is sore after this massage because it is supposed to make you feel sore, remember that "no pain, no gain". Tips: - Make sure you drink the bottle of water that Cindy gives you after your massage to flush out the toxins from your body. A lot of toxin is released from your muscles after a deep tissue massage. - It's a little hard to find the location at first, but it's literally right next to L.A. Burdick's Chocolate and you have to walk up two short flights of stairs - Don't forget to tip in cash! read more

Wow! Cindy was amazing. She's extremely attentive and caring and goes above and beyond to ensure that the massage is to your liking. I first came because of a Groupon gift and then have been back three times since. Cindy is friendly and talented and I look forward to going again! read more

Honestly one of the best massages I've ever had - Cindy did not disappoint! I like deep tissue massages but most masseuses never go as deep as I'd like. Cindy had no problem getting all of my tough knots out. I feel like a new woman! She actively communicated with me throughout to ensure the pressure was okay. 10/10, can't wait to go back! read more

I'm a long-distance runner and cyclist, and have been looking for a go-to massage therapist since moving to Boston. I think I may have found just that. My massage was with Cindy and she did an incredible job! I've had massages regularly for many years and her technique is unique, effective, relaxing and therapeutic. Easily one of the best massages I've ever had! So looking forward to my next massage with her. The location is perfectly situated by Copley Square--Easily accessible on the T, is very clean and has a relaxing ambiance. Five star experience! Thanks, Cindy! read more

Cindy was amazing! So thorough and kind. She really looks to give you exactly what your body needs. Strong and therapeutic. I will definitely be back! read more

Cindy is INCREDIBLE. I swear she's massaged every toxin out of my sore neck and upper back from being tense all the time at work. 10/10 recommend read more

I will start by saying I never take the time to write reviews but Cindy's service deserves more than a "good" one. I get massages often, trying A LOT of spas techniques and therapist.. always looking for something new/different. Cindy has been by far one of the best ones. I must admit I was a little curious and expectant about Thai style massages, my massage was by far the most "deep" deep tissue massage I've received. In addition, she was sweet, respectful and caring. I will definitely go back! Thank you Cindy read more

Honestly, one of the best massages I've ever had. I go for a lot of massages and have tried many different places, and everything about Boston Wellness Massage exceeded my expectations. It's a tiny studio and I wasn't sure about it at first, but it was just right. I think she shares the space with another business. Cindy was so friendly and was so good about checking in on me and making sure everything felt okay. I don't usually like a lot of pressure but she did just enough to get rid of a lot of the knots in my neck and shoulders while also still making it feel good and enjoyable. It was unlike any massage I've gotten~ she got up on the table and really knew what she was doing. She even offered to crack my back but I was a little too nervous for that...definitely next time though! I've told many of my friends and family about this place and will absolutely be back! read more

Cindy is fantastic. My wife and I wanted a massage after a day of a 13 milewalk. It also happened to be before a 4 day hike. She's incredibly talented and experienced. It's best to let her do her thing because she knows what she's doing. As a bonus, she's super cheerful and the pricing is a steal. Will always go to her when I'm back in town. read more

Fantastic massage! Awesome experience with one of the best masseuses I've met. Very attentive and focused on providing you with what you want. I chose the deep tissue which got out knots I didn't even know I had. Price is very reasonable for a top notch massage. Highly recommend. read more

Got a deep tissue massage it was incredible. I came in with backpain I'd had for a few days that wasn't going away and walked out pain free and refreshed !! read more

I took a chance and went for a 90 minute massage. Cindy is amazing. She worked with me on the areas that needed special care and adhered to my needs. She made sure at every point that I was comfortable and she knew what she was doing. She is definitely trained and is experienced in what she does. I felt very relaxed at the end of it and will go back again. read more

Cindy was so professional and a lovely joyous spirit. Her massage was amazing!! My boyfriend was skeptical at first; he's never had a good massage before and didn't think he needed it, but after Cindy worked on him, he was GLOWING! He said in his words that she was very "thorough" and I completely agree!! Cindy is very skilled and her hands work magic!! Best massage we've ever received together. read more

Super excellent massage... always concerned whether pressure is just right... will go back to her and recommend to friends!

This massage was incredible. As someone who spends time at the gym every day and endures plenty of stress from work, Cindy was able to erase all the tension in my body. Boston Wellness Massage is a professional company. When I first walked in, They sought to understand where my stress came from and then targeted those specific areas. Throughout the massage, Cindy always sought to understand if the pressure was good enough. I really liked that about her and my experience. I came out of that massage like a new person - my kinks were gone! I recommend Cindy and BWM to all. read more

Great location, massage was wonderful,I did the yelp deal but she said she would give the same price to anyone that calls and mentions it. No-frills place, bathroom immaculate. Wanted to try a different massage than I'm used to so this was just perfect after a long day of sight-seeing,starting with a BU tour. I will def go back to see Cindy next time I am in Boston! read more

I received a groupon from my hunny for xmas for a 90min massage, I was a little intimidated looking at the pictures but made my appointment and went in. The office space isn't exactly the conventional "spa" setting you'd expect, its a very small "office" area but Cindy rents a room in the space. Cindy is super sweet and really knows what she's doing, probably the best massage I've ever gotten. She gives discounts to returning customer, which I will definitely be. Once you get into Cindy's massage room you you forget about everything because she makes it so inviting and really makes sure you are comfortable the whole way! SIDENOTE: everyone here speaks english (based on other reviews that said they didn't.) read more

Absolutely phenomenal massage! I tend to have my doubts going for a massage anywhere other than my chiropractor because I am looking for actual relief, but she knows what she's doing! I had the deep tissue massage and definitely feel sore but refreshed. Well worth the time and money and will definitely be coming back for more services in the future. Highly recommend if you have sore, tight muscles from sports and working out. read more

Cindy is awesome! I've been a couple of times now and each time is excellent! I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about as I've never had a problem conversing with Cindy. She's great in that she respects that I don't want to have this long conversation during my massage and just gets to work. It is a little bit hard to find but once you do there's no issues. Plenty of paid meter parking if you can get it (depends on the time of day). Highly recommend. read more

I came here last month for a swedish deep tissue massage, it was my first time and it was awesome! Cindy took care of my legs and back like a pro! she even gave me a head massage that was so relaxing that I almost felt asleep. I'm used to strong massages, I feel like there more relaxing than those that only soothe you, and I couldn't find any good ones in Boston until I came to this place. 100% recommended and I´ll be back very soon. read more

Cindy was amazing! She worked out all the knots I had in my shoulder, neck and upper back. She took her time and made sure I was relaxed the entire hour. I left there feeling incredible, thanks to her :) read more

Cindy is fabulous. I have lower back and neck pain and bought a Groupon to see if this is a good fit. It was easy to book and reasonably priced. My experience felt like a wellness visit and was far better than overpriced spas or cheap chains. I will return as often as possible. read more

Cindy is absolutley AMAZING. Kind, professional, and provided one of the best massages I have ever had. If you are looking for serious stress to get worked out, this is the place for you. 5 stars isn't enough. read more

Good massage, but you get what you pay for, it's not the most comfortable environment and as others have mentioned the staff do not speak English well to accommodate for specific requests. read more

Cindy is a massage treasure! I am soooo thrilled to FINALLY find a masseuse who can give exceptional deep tissue massages!! She has a wonderful balance of strength and gentleness - she can work out the deepest of knots, but also provide a soothing touch that feels like magic on the skin. She made sure to check-in throughout the massage, asking me about how it felt and if the pressure was ok. Her studio is clean, relaxing and cozy - I'm a BIG fan of the heated massage table. She has such a kind and caring disposition, and it really shows during the session. I plan to become a regular! read more

Cindy was amazing! I booked a 60 min Swedish massage from Groupon. The location is right next to the Copley green line stop - super convenient to get to. I filled out a questionnaire that Cindy read before the massage, and she asked questions and listened to help her give the best treatment. The room was warm and smelled great. The massage was amazing - I must have cracked 50 times, and she paid special attention to getting knots out of my neck and shoulders. She is so sweet, kind, and I felt immediately comfortable with her! Will definitely be back. read more

Cindy is amazing. I've been seeing her for over a year and recommend her to everyone. Definitely will see her again.

Seriously my most favourite Shiatsu of all time - felt amazingly relaxed afterwards. First Shiatsu where someone walks in you - very deep but not painful. I can't wait to go back! read more
